  1. Name the 8 Main movies in Kevin Smith's Jersey Series (movies announced for the future and TV movies/specials not included).
  2. I tend to agree with you regarding the "Goodnight Sweet Sibling" referring to Urithiru "powering down". Regarding the Painting, I was more questioning the properties of the painting itself. Specifically I was wondering if it was invested as a result of the paint being invested via the Tears of Edgli flower dye. Any idea what the answer was regarding the Shadows Remembered question? I am well versed in the WOBs and whatnot and I've never seen this particular one. (Not to say it doesn't exist, there are certainly WOBs that I haven't seen... I'm just a bit neurotic if we're being completely honest...) I agree that there weren't Singers who could Surgebind via-Nahel Bond. But there are pretty clear implications that they were Voidbinding during the Desolations. My question was more so was there an order of Fused that were called Vibrant something or other.
  3. I've been re-reading Stormlight and added a couple of questions.
  4. Yeah, this one is pretty open and shut, by definition Honor wasn't God... So, no need to change, if anything, Dalinar's interactions with Honor should reinforce Jasnah's beliefs.
  5. She makes excellent pies! As for Skyward vs. Starsight I went with Starsight. As @Jofwu said, Skyward was easier to enjoy due to the uncomplicated villains and rather linear plot. My first read through of Starsight I enjoyed it but felt like there was a bit too much going on. I just finished my 2nd read through and enjoyed it far more (if you haven't I'd highly recommend re-reading it). The character development is really what makes the book and for me made it the better book. Also Hesho is just wonderful.
  6. Whoops, I had it in my head this was the general Cosmere discussion thread. Sorry about that guys; Spoilers applied.
  7. There can be any type of Investiture Savants. Technically speaking anyone who had used Investiture enough that it warped their S-DNA is a Savant. Savantism in Stormlight:
  8. I feel your pain , with context I'd be inclined to say same artist, different painting. Llarimar was able to see red swirls. Which would imply he was seeing the same picture as Lightsong (less the 3rd Heightening). Since he makes no mention of Black I would conclude they are different even with the people see different things part. Obviously I am making a bit of leap here but that's what I'm going with in my head until something else comes from this. I'd still really like to know if the paints being used are based with Tears Of Edgli.
  9. Aww <3 Love me some Elder Scrolls. Sheogorath, Molag Bol, Malacath, Hircine, Mehrunes Dagon, Mephala, Sanguine, Vaermina, Hermaeus Mora, Clavicus Vile, Azura, Meridia, Boethiah, Nemira, Nocturnal, Peryite For 17 I am guessing you mean Jyggalag (who is Sheogorath)? Edit: By the forgotten gods it took me way too long to remember Peryite!
  10. @ILuvHats There is a feather in your hat, excellent.
  11. Setalle actually acknowledges that Nynaeve could plausibly be an Aes Sedai who has slowed but hasn't yet developed the ageless face. The issue is that she thinks regardless of slowing that Elayne is too young to have been raised and makes the logical leap that if Nynaeve were in fact an Aes Sedai who hadn't yet achieved the ageless face, then she would not perpetuate that Elayne were Aes Sedai. Because Nynaeve does, Setalle concludes she is lying and therefore not Aes Sedai.
  12. Yeah, she moved and then realized that she never gave it back to me. I'm just going to grab it next time I go visit but seeing as She is now in Salt Lake and I live near Boston that will have to happen when it happens...
  13. I can confirm, this was confirmed in a signed book that I let a friend borrow and never got back (hence lack of picture).
  14. I suppose I should ask you something as well... Who is your favorite character in the Cosmere? Who are your favorite Brandon and non-Brandon, non-Cosmere characters? Why to each?
  15. A few things I will say in favor of Lift; I really did enjoy the adventures of Lift and Szeth, there is excellent juxtaposition between them. Admittedly though, I enjoy the Szeth half of the pair significantly more than the Lift half. Also while I find Lift annoying I find Wyndle delightful. It's not his fault his Radiant can be so grating. He wouldn't have even picked her if given a choice.
  16. My least favorite book is Well of Ascension, it is fine, but I feel like it doesn't flow nearly as well as his others. Least favorite character is a bit tougher; there are characters I don't like but that I appreciate for what they are. Straff Venture or Sadeas would fall into this category, I think they are well written but obviously distasteful. As for general dislike for a character I'm not sure anyone really sticks out. I think Lift is slightly annoying and I'm not particularly excited about her being a main point of view character though I think she is somewhat funny and enjoyable in small doses. Raoden is another, he sort of falls more into a "Shrug, meh" situation for me though where I just don't think he adds his fair weight to the story in the same way that Hrathen and Sarene do.
  17. Made some changes per recent WOBs. Updated: Per @RShara's question at the Starsight release.
  18. Alas, it is not, this is from the Wheel of Time (Book 12: The Gathering Storm). It is referring to Rand standing on top of Dragonmount and awakening from his madness.
  19. From Gavilar's death until the events of WoR it has been approximately 7 years. When Amaram sees Hoid in WOR he makes a comment along the lines of "So this is the new Wit..." that would indicate that Hoid has been the Wit for at most 7 years. Judging by how Dalinar and Adolin initially react to him I would guess it is much less time than that. That doesn't rule out the possibly that Hoid was on Roshar longer doing other things but still the implication is he hasn't been there that long. Edit: @RShara beat me to the same point regarding the letters. Removed.
  20. Would you call it a "cutting accusation"? With that said, when I was like 17 or 18 I was told that I "radiate boy-pretty".
  21. At Jordancon '16 Brandon confirmed that the Nightwatcher is on the same level as the Stormfather:
