Welcome! Timeline wise, it goes more or less like this: Dragonsteel(unreleased) White Sand(unreleased) Elantris Mistborn Era 1/ Original Triology Mistborn: Secret History. (Some say you should only read it after the third Wax&Wayne book. Don't listen to them, reading it right after the Original Triology is fine and fits better, IMO.) Warbreaker(please, read this before the second book of Stormlight Archive. There is a very important link between the two books) Stormlight Archive 1 to 5 (Only 1 and 2 released for now) Mistborn Era 2/ 1.5/ Wax&Wayne (there are disagreements over the Era terminology) Stormlight Archive 5 to 10(unreleased) Mistborn Era 2 / 3/ Modern Triology(unreleased) Short story- Sixth of The Dusk Mistborn Era 3/ 4/ Space Triology(unreleased) There are others I don't know where to fit, but here are the ones I know. You can do spoiler tags with [ spoiler ] YOUR TEXT HERE [ /spoiler ] without spaces. About the ending of the Original Triology: EDIT: ninja-ed !

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
DreamEternal replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Of course. The Nightwatcher sends all tigers and whitespines with you as a curse. Oh, mighty Nightwatcher, I wish all sentient Racoons(Including me, as Magestar unfortunately turned all sharders into Racoons) were turned into humans. -
theory An Possible Explanation for Taravangian's Diagram
DreamEternal replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Stormlight Archive
While I don't think Odium was messing with the Diagram, I have to say that I find it hard to believe Mr.T wasn't a major player until he wrote it. Why? Because of Gavilar. Gavilar, previous prophet of a dead god and holder of the mysterious black sphere, possible proto-bondsmith, unifier of Alethkar, would be bringer of the dreaded Listener gods. He was a close enough friend to Taravangian to tell him his visions. Why were they so close? It could be because of Mr.T apparent virtue and Gavilar's growing honour. Or it could be because they were working together in the past. A great spy network like the one Taravangian operates isn't born in one day and spreads across the world in another. Specially one capable of tracking down Szeth and killing his target before he does it. I believe Mr.T has been playing his game of shadows from his little innocent looking city since before Gavilar's conquests, and was one of the alethi King's main investors and supporters. That is a person Odium would be wary of. -
The little I know of quantum mechanics made me arrive to the conclusion there are no such things as waves and particles(I mean, you can model sound as a particle, of all things), and both are only ways to make our brains capable of understanding a small sliver of the mind-bending true laws of this universe.

Still a wave function. Zero is a number, you know?

Is there something that can't be represented by wave functions?

Magic the Gahtering: Cosmere edition

No matter what Brandon says, I am still quite sure Hoid is Blue/Red, not pure Blue. Or at least that is the impression he gave me on SA. -

Random Stuff IX: Rogue Admins
DreamEternal replied to Delightful's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Did you check the portuguese translation? Because here in Brazil "Muggles" became "Trouxas", which basically means "Fools", and the houses got some weird yet effective translations that tried to preserve the sonority and feel, even if some of the meaning was lost.Tom Riddle's full name also changed slightly in order to make the anagram twist in book two make sense. -
Actualy, we know by WoB there are not ten unmade.

There are a decent amount of places around the world with many small waterfalls, some very hard to reach due to being in hills or mountains and often sorrounded by rainforest. So if you are a somewhat mystical hermit-type, don't mind taking long treks in the woods, and like nature, why not meditate under one of those waterfalls once in a while? In a setting with elemental magic, it may even help you learn to form a deeper connection to your chosen element, perhaps allowing you to feel through it instead of simply controlling it.

Renarin is going to be ridiculously powerful someday.
DreamEternal replied to Unite Them's topic in Stormlight Archive
Now, I love Renarin, but you are giving him undue credit. Hoid was actively trying to raise the boy's self-esteem. It was a friendly joke, not a battle of wits. And you are acting like Renarin could control his future sight to see the possible long-term outcomes of anything he wants. As far as we know, only shards can do that. Renarin's visions, which he is unable to control at least for now, appear to focus on very specific major events and don't cover neither their causes nor consequences, only when and where they will happen. Not reliable enough for him to be a master tactician, specially if they reveal him something that can't be simply met with strength of arms. I believe his visions, and his personality, would be put to better use if he became a politician, avoiding unnecessary conflict while keeping everyone directed towards preparing for the vague yet certain menaces he sees. -
Renarin is going to be ridiculously powerful someday.
DreamEternal replied to Unite Them's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well, he is very close to the throne of the most powerful nation in the world, is one of the people the leader of the New Radiants trusts the most, and is intelligent and rational when he is out of the fighting itself. Oh, and he sees the future.I don't see why Renarin needs any combat prowess to be very important in the future. He just needs more self-esteem than his current borderline death-seeking levels. -

Nohadon's Book and the Founding of the Knights Radiant
DreamEternal replied to Nyali's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe the organization of the KR was born from Nohadon's teachings, or perhaps imposition on the lands he ruled. However, most surgebinders were not bound to it, and its oaths were merely cerimonial, until Ishar forced order upon the spren, forcing the Oaths of the Knights Radiant to be part of tgeir very nature, creating the modern, oathbound surgebinders. -

Are we sure about that? WoB or it didn't happen.

Eh, it is not impossible if you keep a flow to your movements. The problem is that you'd be too tired to fight much, much sooner than your foe, specially if ypu were wearing heavy armor. And you should be wearing heavy armor, as swinging a sledgehammer is going to leave you very open to counter attacks if said foe avoids your strike. Which is likely, since sledgehammers aren't know by speed or precision.
