    I believe that the implication is that the Investiture is being transformed into matter and/or energy. Nightblood consumes Investiture, but that's probably like saying that nuclear fission reduces the amount of matter in the universe. The matter isn't running out, it's transforming into energy. Granted, I think Investiture's cooler than matter or energy, so I'm not that happy with Nightblood. Not that I'm a fan of Nightblood in the first place.

    Has anyone considered that this kandra is worried about Harmony falling apart? What if he's asking about Investiture and Identity because the Shards are warping Sazed's Identity? What if Paalm's death is causing him to realize that there are conflicts between his original goals? What if he is realizing that humanity isn't what he thought they were ("You should have had the radio a century ago")? What if he loses control of Ruin and Preservation? Don't be Discord, Saze. Harmony, no.

    It was a tricky choice. I decided to go with what I could tie. I would go with a cravat over a "normal" tie any day, though.

    Fascinating! I was not aware that the Knights Awkward had Tennants to fulfill (although the Whovians in there midst does not make this too surprising). Though perhaps there are tenets as well as the presence of the dreaded autocorrect?

    I must say, this is fascinating. I'm a highly visual person, and the entire idea of aphantasia is fascinating and alien, especially as it alienates the possibility of grapheme to color synesthesia. Talanic, would you identify as an auditory or kinetic learner (as opposed to visual)?

    I wanted something simple and geometric for my profile pic. So I fumbled around with different Rithmatic Lines, but settled on an Aon from Awesomeness Summoned (seriously good stuff here). I have toyed with the idea of changing to Pattern (Cryptics!), but Aon Sao has been my profile pic for more than a year now, so I don't want to confuse myself by changing it. The sig is fairly simple for now. I like the way that it lets people know about white text and conveys one of my favorite things about Brandon's books.
