I recall the Dark Alley thread starting up after this thread... I've never been particularly comfortable with how that one turned out. It should have been more awesome.

I have had this song stuck in my head for a couple of days. So I put in Cosmere lyrics for a few verses. The rhythm and rhyme aren't perfect, but the way the song worked I figured I could stretch things a bit. There's tons more room for more verses, and I'd love to see what people come up with. (I was trying to work waffles into one, but it didn't come out right...) There is one spoiler from BoM, so be warned and please mark any spoilers, if you choose to include any in your own verses.

I'm still much more of a fan of the club the membership is exclusive to those who are not part of the club. I have been welcomed several times, but always had to tender my resignation fairly quickly.

This is the way to do it. Only once my brother has finished the original Mistborn trilogy will I begin to hint at a larger story, and he'll figure it out eventually. Being told that there's a shared universe is much less cool than hearing echoes, then whispers, then hints, and finally confirmation.

How does Cynthia tell the difference between the voices in her head and real people? What happens in the South? Are the deities limited regionally? What's the religious/political state in the South? Are there other regions in the world? Are all of these deities "known" or identifiable in-world? Do the Northern theocracies recognize the existence of the other gods central to neighboring religions? How are the gods different from each other? Are they representations of different virtues or elements? Do they share a common mythology? Or does it vary from place to place? Is there a limited pantheon? Or is it a changing roster? Why did Ezra leave the North? How does he support himself now?
