Okay, what can I do that is alignment indicative...? I can support Illwei and say his vote for Gears was most certainly part of a running joke and therefore Not Alignment Indicative (NAI). That's not especially an indicator on my alignment, but defending someone is at least some information I can provide.

Okay, I find this highly suspicious. Elims tend to care a lot about their image. I'm not sure how things are done on this site, but saying something like this on FoL would immediately get you read as elim.

Villagers should be working on solving and finding elims. That shows their alignment.

Haha, I am working on a bigger post, but I figured I should respond to this.

You are absolutely correct, and if I liked to play the meta I wouldn't dare say that kind of thing. You're welcome to lynch me. I try to get into the spotlight on day one by throwing out stupid things so that if somehow I live, I am less hindered in my ability to gain information later. The downside is that it does get me lynched day one occasionally. I promise in my better post, I will have some suspicions and a reasoned vote.

While I'm thinking about it Cows/The Windrunner Supreme I'm sure I'll come up with a better vote here in a minute and my vote was doing very little where it was.

I maintain my offer that if any of you must share your role with someone, share it with me. I'm village and decent at keeping secrets. I'll probably be PMing you anyway because I like to get the lay of the team in these games. If you feel like you're bad at PMs, try manipulating me. @Illwei can attest to how easy it is. :P

alternatively you all could share it with me :P. I can't promise that I'm village, or that great at keeping secrets, but you should definitely share your roles with me :P.

anyways, gotta go actually do my midterms...been putting them off all week....

Well... I'm in school and can't really think of anything to say that hasn't been said before. But, if you want to talk to me in a PM, your going to have to send them to me because I suck at using them.

Well, let me quote a response from Elkanah himself in LG15.

Quote

when people asked to be killed, it sends red flags for me because of the reverse psychology that gets involved. The thought process that only a crew member would be okay with dying because they are expendable is thoroughly flawed and sounds to me like a traitor trying to get cleared.

Then onto his explanation for his behavior that I said gave elim vibes.

Huh? This doesn't really seem like a good explanation for his post where he was trying to find something alignment indicative to prove himself. It doesn't look like trying to get the spotlight. And even if so, how does getting the spotlight and then hoping not to get killed even look like a decent plan for trying to make yourself less hindered later for gaining info? I don't think it would necessarily give that benefit, and the risk isn't worth it. Keeping my vote here.

Hey Ventyl! It has been a while, but I'm excited for another chance! In the interest of honesty, I'm hoping to pocket everyone. I believe town's best chance of winning most often comes with communication and trust.

This and your last post have encouraged me to join this vote. Elkanah. After combing through the thread, no one so far has tripped as many alarm bells.

I’m tempted to join this vote on Elkanah, but as far as I’ve seen @Devotary of Spontaneity hasn’t said anything in response to my stab vote, so I’ll keep it there until they respond.

All three of you think that we should try to find out the HI by voting them out, but I'm kinda confused because:

You are putting words into my mouth. I was commenting on the fact that the elims wouldn't want to lynch the HI at this point. I agree that it would waste a lynch. But during cycle 1, there is no chance that all the hemalurgists are elim. I also don't think we could actually find the HI through analysis (prior to all hemalurgists dying), since they aren't actually collaborating with anyone. So I certainly don't think we should (or even can) use the lynch directly to find the HI. We might discover them by accident, though.

Can you explain the relevance/connection you're trying to point out there?

By "trying to get the spotlight" it's usually "try to get almost killed". or at least be chaotic enough for the Elims to overlook him.
Though...
He hasn't been that chaotic, and it feels off. also saying "Working on a Larger Post" and then disappearing....

Speaking of Elk in LG15:

Sorry friends, my midterms are finally almost over so I'll have time more time to post.

haha.

If it's a true stab vote, there's no need to move it at all :P.

EDIT: also, this feels very non-committal and possiblly Elim-y. Could be distancing or something else, while still not wanting to kill Elkanah. Possibly setting up reason for a eventual last minute vote on Elk.

I- "Illwei" ? is that- relevant? to Legend of Korra? I have never watched. so, no. if there's something there then it was unintentional?

Oh, there wasn't a particular connection per se. I was looking through some of Elkanah's past games and just happened upon that quote that fit perfectly as a response to him welcoming a lynch on himself. So just countering with his own words. :)

Yes, exactly. His explanation doesn't fit at all with the behavior. Trying to get the spotlight would be something much more bold and maybe chaotic as you put it.

Well, one of the characters' names is pronounced like I-way, so I was wondering. The double 'l' could plausibly sound like a 'y'.

Yeah, he hasn't been feeling like normal Elkanah, but I've only played one game with Elk when he wasn't an Elim. Or a Cultist. Or a Monk. Or- just I've only played one game with him when he was village, but he was acting different. He is GMing a game (technically) right now, so I was going to wait and see what happens. Too late. I've already expressed my suspicion :P.

Yeah, if there's something there then it's a complete coincidence :P.

If we knew who the HI was, we could make sure they don't die. If the elims ever get to a point where they can hammer the HI with no village support, we'll have essentially already lost. I don't think it's particularly useful to prioritise finding the HI, but if someone ever survives a vote we'll be sure to never vote for them again.

I don't see a point in directly addressing a vote with no reason other than not having shown up yet.

Ok. Gosh. This is gonna sound so weird. mist

This is mostly because I agree with what has been said by those voting for her. (Stating mostly obvious things to presumably appear helpful is one reason that I especially agree with.) If anyone wants more reasoning, I'm sure I could muster some up. It's also kind of a gut read thing.

I (sadly) have came to the conclusion that until at least N1, there won't be much to give to clear me. So there.

Okay, I'm getting kind of suspicious, but there's not really a way for you to know anything about her that would make an Elim vote for her. So I guess it sounds reasonable?

Did that make sense? Was it logical?

Fair enough. I actually do have a bit of evidence I'm not elim: I was a elim I probably wouldn't have role claimed D1 as a regular because I would have asked the other elims with a lot more experience then me if I should do that, and they would probably fervently say no. I probably shouldn't have done that anyways, as pretending to be a hemalurgist would have probably been more productive. Oh well. @Condensation

Ooh, wait. But then the other hemalurgists would have known that you weren't a hemalurgist, right?
