Sounds good! :) Like I said, it's been years since forum RPing, so I'm practically brand new at this kind of thing. I'm not sure what's standard. Also I'm fine with getting ideas for new/different weaknesses.

If you ever make a Terris-blooded character, the Keeper's would love to have you.

The only balance that I could think of is that your character could be afraid of aging and only uses the breath between 5 and 6 heightening

Alright, I've made some adjustments. Let me know if that's still too much.

Spoiler

Name: Lanrielis

Investiture: Awakening (Third Heightening - 650 breaths)

Special skills: Hand-to-hand combat, with an affinity for Awakening her opponent's clothing.

Weakness: She constantly drops down to the Second and First Heightenings, sometimes below that, because she expends breath constantly. It also means she needs a constant source of income to help rebuild her breath supply. Never became proficient with weaponry.

Appearance: Female; 5'7" with a muscular build; broad shoulders; shoulder-length red hair

Family: Youngest of three children born to a wealthy Hallandren merchant.

Occupation: Mercenary

Personality: She rarely takes anything seriously, which is part of why she didn't last long in the city guard. That, and her inability to learn how to use a sword. She enjoys awakening opponent's clothing because she finds their reactions amusing when their shirts start trying to move themselves.

That's an acceptable power level for E2. I will note however that we normally include histories of our characters in their bios. Fortunately, the process for editing a bio is easy(ish). You just post it here and I or another AV mod paste it in. Anyway, welcome to the Alleyverse! I look forward to seeing you RP in whatever thread you hop into.

Alright, here's my attempt at joining the Alleyverse. I haven't done an organized RP like this in years, so I'm a little rusty. This is my idea for a character. I'd love any input.

Heh. "Organised," that's funny

Ah, alright, that does make it a lot more balanced. How does it deal with being damaged? Does it just repair over time, like shardplate?

Yes.

Also, @Archer, I will tone the suit down. Do you have any ideas for how to do so?

One thing that really bothers me about Sanderson's books is the utter lack of cold or snowy places. I live in Minnesota, so not being able to make a snow-loving character like Wereci (from the story I'm writing) hurts. Love of the cold, snow, winter, night, stars, moons, etc. is really emphasized in the Tesan Kingdoms.

What was that? Did you just ask me to murder you? Because that's certainly what it sounded like.

I'm a Minnesotan; we're known for passive-aggressiveness.

Being a highlander must make you high all the time, then. The snow makes us sharp survivalists. We are strong because we shovel our driveways endlessly.

Rain sucks, and I too live in Oregon.

I live in Washington state, and demand you retract your statement! : P

Though we can comprise and say PNW is... granted, that is without counting tropical rainforests...
