I just really wish it didn't have to come down to this -_- but I'm confident enough in all the players here that I'm sure the eliminators would have figured out my role based on Bort's post yesterday. Dancing around it was more of a headache.

And thanks Araris, I'd poison you too

Sorry Aman, but I had to warn people. Your utter reluctance to prove your role in our PM had, and still has, me worried. If I was going to die, then I was going to warn everyone. Maybe I wasn't subtle enough with the role info, but really, how could I be given the warning?

Mint saw all that was going on, and got bored.

Mint hopes to sleep peacefully for the night, so wishes all his subjects a good night. Don't let the bed bugs bite.

You know what, why not? I am a monarch with a seon. I feel a bit bad about ruining Aman's plan.

Edit: oh, but I'm not revealing anything about my inheritance.

Don't be, Kid. It's not really your fault :( also, probably not wise to do any more public roleclaims, if anyone else is considering it :P

Right, I'm up to speed on tonight.

With the understanding that I may be hearing things through the lense of another player's perception, would somebody be so kind as to give me a quick rundown as to what exactly happened at the end of last turn? I still feel a bit lost and I'd be very grateful for a cursory explanation.

. . .

Ateshao staggered through the streets of Kae, thoroughly intoxicated. He squinted in the darkness. The spasms in his eyes were beginning to grow less intense. Or perhaps he was merely growing accustomed to them. Or perhaps the alchohol was mitigating the effect of the garha-potion mixture. Regardless, he could finally see well enough to retrace his steps. It was still disorienting, to see the world mainly through unpredictable bursts of extreme clarity. Frenetic, like flashes of illumination off a string of fireworks on the day of Reod.

His business tonight was twofold: first, to retrieve his abandoned cart, and second, to track down that alchemist to offer some feedback. Likely, the two would coincide, unless Fenot had up and left.

Idly, Ateshao wondered what became of Lord Arehe-but-call-me-Sahin. Right decent fellow, that one. Hopefully nobody robbed the man while he was passed out on the floor. Friendship aside, it would be rather awkward if Ateshao were implicated in something like that.

Laboriously, he moved in a straight line down the walkway, until his eyes fell upon his terminally overloaded cart, and besides it, Fenot's table of potions.

"Hey!!" Ateshao shouted out with the belligerence of the inebriated.

"Rulo!! Yer shtormin' domi-curshed poshions don' work! Shee what ish done to me eyesh?!"

He gestured to his eyes, which were crossed inward, in case Fenot had not seen them.

"You tryin' to poishon me?!"

Thanks Kidpen for the trust.

If it wasn’t clear, aman and I had a pm.  He trusts me somewhat, right?

I assume this was a "Get's to talk to a splendid guy" PM? feel free not to answer.

I don't think I ever got your Seon name either

EDIT: This isn't me asking you to say it out loud, tho :P

We were lynching Bort, then he did something it would be silly for an elim to do, Aman pointed that out, and shifted the bandwagon onto Randuir, whom he came up with some reasonable D1 arguments to lynch. Now we know that Aman is a Priest with a Jeskeri Pendant.

Aman, the jeskeri pendant is a kill, not a defense. Also, we get two actions per cycle so you could do a scan and use the pendant.

GM confirm this is true please?

PMs only last one turn, and I currently have none. I'm going to post the name of the player I'm using the pendant on at the very last minute of tonight so that everyone can see, in case I die. And honestly I don't want to be protected indefinitely :P stuff like that's pretty broken / anti-fun.

EDIT:

Vote counts as an action and I voted to save you :P I was originally planning on not participating so I could use both tonight, but yeah.

@Herowannabe we have confusions here

@Steeldancer and @Bort have the right of it. I was very careful with my wording in the rules because I knew it would cause confusion (Someone I noticed quoted this already but didn’t put it in a quote box or anything so it may not have been obvious it was a quote from the rules):

Quote

During each Day or Night phase, each player may perform up to 2 actions available to them for up to a potential of 4 actions per cycle: 2 in the Day phase and 2 in the Night phase. You may not perform the same action twice in one phase.

Note that I specifically referred to them as Day and Night phases, because sometimes people say “cycle” to refer to day+night and sometimes only to the current day or night turn/phase.

Ah. Hm. Well thank you; I think I understand now.

The nighttime action order is:

Quote

Seon: Create a PM with one other player (happens instantly)
Jindo Warrior: Guard a player
Elantrian: Vote on which area to explore
Cultist: Kill a player
Jeskeri Pendant: Kill a non-cultist player
Gyorn/Odiv: Convert a player
Korathi Priest: Scan a player
Korathi Pendant: Pray about a player’s role or alignment
Veteran Elantrian: Get a Hint about an area
Gift: Give an Item you have to another player
Gyorn: Swear an Odiv
Poison Vial: Poison a player
The Shaod (game effect- not an action): One or more players become Elantrians

@Herowannabe, if Aman tries to use a Jeskeri pendant and the Korathi scan on the same night he's killed by the Cultists, would his actions still go through, or would they be cancelled?

If an action becomes impossible because the player taking the action or the player being targeted dies (or for any other reason), then the action is cancelled. So the Cultist kill would cancel any actions that happen after the kill is resolved.

I was confused about the time for so long, but then I remembered everyone else in America uses daylight savings time. You all need  to convert to Arizona time!

So if Aman dies, both of his scans will be cancelled. It's up to the Jindo Warrior(s) to make sure that doesn't happen.
