Necessary Eagle she/her Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 About half of Roshar has been declared to be Really Truly Obviously the author at this point. But why only settle for half? Suggest a character that no one else has proposed yet, you special snowflake. I'll start: 1. Bavadin. (okay, she's not from Roshar, but: c'mon, it's Bavadin). 2. May Aladar 3. Mraize's pet chicken 1
Nathrangking he/him Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 1)Sureblood 2)Re- Shephir 3)Vathah
Aleksiel Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Gaz Vivenna Adonalsium Cenn's future autobiography, he's actually alive. He will become Honor's champion, but sadly fail. 1
Kinnsayyy Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Okay I have had time to reflect. All of these answers are clearly incorrect. The true writer of Oathbringer is... Spoiler STICK 10
Solant he/him Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 (edited) Stick! Edited November 1, 2017 by Solant Kinnsayyy beat me to it 1
ADIMORTIS he/him Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 The answer, of course, is Brandon Sanderson. 9
Subvisual Haze Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 The author was YOU THE READER all along - directed by M. Night Shamalan 9
Ammanas Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I haven't been keeping up with on possible writers, but Sigzil makes a lot of sense to me. I don't know if this is a popular idea or not.
Fifth of Daybreak he/him Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Is it too on the nose to say Hoid?
Subvisual Haze Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 It was a collaborative project written by both of Shallan's parents, Helarin, Sadeas, Gavilar, Highlord Roion, Tien, Tyn and Tanavast. Turns out none of them were "really dead", they all get resurrected in the final 2 chapters and then publish their in-world book. 2
Head Crabs Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 1. Sixth of Dusk 2. Hrathen 3. Nightblood 4. Chull dung 1
Paliah Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Or maybe Oathbringer is revived and writes its autobiography. 6
Beatsmorn Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Eshonai, but everytime I say "Eshonai becomes the Willshaper" it gets 10% louder 1
The Sovereign Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Not a particularly weird one, but I don't think I've seen anyone propose Shallan. The "I've been called a monster" line makes me think it could be her.
ScavellTane Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I'm still on the 'Non-of-the-above' camp.

Which is good because I want to see more of her. Nevermind I messed up Tyn and Lyn. Edited November 1, 2017 by Leyrann
