Straw he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Yep, earlier you said you had made a PM with every player.
BrightnessRadiant she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Haha the straw vs. Stink voting is humorous for some reason sorry I don't really suspect either one that much yet...still waiting till I see more from this cycle until I vote Edit: stink did ask for my role in a pm and straw has made at least two pms with me in them, so don't know what y'all want to make of that, but just thought I'd confirm their claims lol Edited June 24, 2017 by BrightnessRadiant Grammar mistakes ;P
STINK he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Aye, if you've talked to me for longer than like 3 messages, then I've probably asked for your role at some point. Don't act like it's such a mysterious action Everyone asks for roles. The accusation against me is 'Stink has done what everyone else has done, he's just better at it'.
BrightnessRadiant she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 @STINK I'm not overly suspicious of someone searching for people to role claim (although I have role claimed to an elim cycle one before *cough @Elenion *cough), but it does seem strange that you're voting straw because of all the PMs he made when it seems you've made more than a few yourself

The "group pm" especially would seem (to a more suspicious person than me) like an attempt to listen in on others' conversations by putting them in arbitrary groups.
Stick. she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) I think it's strange that people are getting voted on bc of the amount of PMs they've made. I mean, PMs are equally useful to both alignments. I'm not really getting these votes? Edit: though the group PM thing is, admittedly, a little suspicious Edited June 24, 2017 by _Stick_

It's the arbitary group PMs and all this slander against me that is suspicious.
asterion137 he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) To be clear, I don't think voting against either straw or stink would be justifiable if we had any other leads, but I still prefer it over a pure gut read. I'll still abstain from voting unless something concrete comes up though Edited June 24, 2017 by asterion137 clarity

Oh I'm not saying that I don't suspect straw at all, just that stink is voting on straw for something that he did similar (although admittedly straw might be going a little overboard) One thing I'm pretty sure of, they're not both elims anyways lol Edit: what I mean by that is either they're both village or one of them is an elim because of their reactions towards each other on day 1 Edited June 24, 2017 by BrightnessRadiant
TheMightyLopen he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Wow, so many posts. Are there any lurkers that I can vote on instead of reading everything to find someone suspicious?
BrightnessRadiant she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 When I think it over, stink's vote on straw seems more justified than straw's vote @TheMightyLopen no, do the work you slacker

BrightnessRadiant she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 @TheMightyLopen If you really want a sum up, read my previous analysis post, and maybe orlok's and elbereth's posts... I think that's the bulk of it lol. And then there's the stink vs straw controversy after that @STINK sure, if it makes you happy
STINK he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 It does indeed make me happy! You're very kind to say it was an honourable vote. 2

I like to read it for myself so that my expert, experienced player eyes can see all of the juicy info hiding just beneath the surface(or something >>).
BrightnessRadiant she/her Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 @TheMightyLopen okay, tell me what kind of juice you find
DrakeMarshall he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 The "juice" behind the surface of most people is generally known as blood... I hope you aren't planning on any murderous activities. 1
Straw he/him Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Hey, Lopen, there's a lurker called STINK you can vote on

Orlok Tsubodai Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 4 hours ago, little wilson said: Also, I really don't think other public claims would be a good idea. I can see why Orlok would, because he has virtually nothing to lose by doing so (other than his village alignment and role ability). He's village right now, but tonight, he'll switch to Neutral, because Cosette will target him, and they'll become lovers. Eponine knows who he is, and can protect him, and if the eliminators target him, Eponine will save him, and then he'll become lovers with both Cosette and Eponine and he'll have PMs with both as well. And if you're wondering why Orlok would sacrifice his role/alignment to be a Neutral Lynchpin of a Love Triangle, that's why: the constant communication. He wants the PMs. Additionally, Val Jean's one-shot protection of Cosette extends to Marius when they become lovers. Role-claiming was perhaps the smartest thing Orlok could've done. It makes him far less likely to be attacked which helps his soon-to-be new win con of survival, it helps Cosette get the first half of her win con (since once she's lovers, then she has to survive as well), and it gives him steady communication. Win-win for him. Wilson described my motivation for claiming pretty well, above. I've also done a lot of analysis in recent games, which whilst immensely fun, is hugely time consuming. My analysis spreadsheet has five tabs in which I need to input data, and normally 6-10 cells of input for each post made. I'm hoping to spend this game interacting with other players far more frequently, and think that this should help me push my comfort zone as a player.
Straw he/him Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 @Haelbarde What happens with a tie? Also, is there a minimum number of votes needed to lynch?
Stick. she/her Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 One of the lynch candidates gets lynched randomly in the event of a tie
