Random Stuff X: Something Weird

Not much left to do but it's past 3am and I've hit that point that I'm browsing random internets instead of work but I won't go to sleep because I haven't finished yet.

No idea why I do that to myself.

I usually find at the 3am random browsing stage that I don't have enough focus to keep working and it's more productive all round if I go to sleep.

I went to sleep past 5 am with one of the two things solved. The other one I figured out during my one hour nap and coded on the way to uni.

Which means I'm on one hour of so-so sleep. This means I'm only mildly tired but at one moment in the evening I will just collapse.

I know that the cookies we greet newcomers with are spiked with hemalurgic spikes, but where did the idea of the Dark Alley and putting spikes in cookies come from?

I might be wrong, since I wasn't around when it happened, but I think it started as an inside joke that involved @Chaos, @Voidus, and a few others that just spiraled out of control.

So Paramore just released their first album in years today. Any other fans? Anyone got an opinion on the album yet? 

 

Lyrically I'm very impressed with it, but I'm having trouble adjusting to the new sound. I really like Paramore's punk rock songs, and most of their past pop like songs have bored me. This album has very few songs that could be called rock. They are faster than many of the older pop songs though, and very deep and dark lyrically. I haven't listened enough to pick out some favorites yet, but I do like the album mostly. I miss the guitars and drums though, all the synth just sound kinda inhuman.
