I fell asleep in math today.

 

...no, no, not like that! I wasn't bored! We just literally had nothing to do (more specifically, I had nothing to do) and so I put my head down and next thing I know I can't feel my hand and the girl next to me is shaking me awake and telling me that the bell rang. 

 

(In my defense, I'd had a charley horse last night and was short on sleep.)

IIRC, she got a lot of undeserved flak for that accent.  She spent oodles of time with a voice coach perfectly recreating an accent from some tiny region somewhere...that nobody recognized because its origin is a place so tiny and remote.

I didn't dislike it; I just couldn't recognize it and that part was bugging me. It sounded authentic to my admittedly untrained ear—particularly since it didn't sound like a stereotypical anything—but the lack of recognition was itching at my brain. It's pretty cool that she put so much work into it.

(Hint:  it's usually dehydration.  Sometimes potassium deficiency, but most of the time if you just drink more water it stops happening.)
