TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 "Every time you read a book, a tree smiles, knowing that there is life after death" What's mad max about? A post-apocalyptic wasteland, ruled by a brutal patriarch, and the one woman who refuses to bow to his whims, stealing his enslaved concubines and proving to everyone that they will not be oppressed any longer. There's also a guy named Max in it. 2
Delightful Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Is this a "bad description" or is the movie badly named?
Orlion Blight he/him Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Is this a "bad description" or is the movie badly named? Mad Max is a franchise that takes place in a post apocalyptic wasteland. It usually centers around the Max character.Except for the recent one, apparently.

Zas678 he/him Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Hey guys! So Around the Cosmere is back, and what we're doing is each week we're focusing on one part of the site where someone explains what that section of the site is, and what people need to know in order to get started. The first section we're looking at is the Reckoners RP and the Social Groups. Check out Voidus's explanation here! And because this is a site about books, I had a little bit of fun where I rewrote the Reckoners RP explanation into the beginning of a short story. Let me know what you think about it. 4

I've read Voidus's news post, and I'm going to read your short story next. Looking forward to it! Technically, there are 4 other Sharders I know of in Sydney (3 of which are on the map, and one other who I happened to be in on a PM where they mentioned it, but I won't add them without their specific permission.) 2 of those, however, are dud accounts which haven't been active in a while. Maybe... If I could organize some sort of holiday to fit on either side of Shardcon, then I might be able to go one year, but it seems unlikely to me at the minute.

Quiver he/him Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 So... I like reviewing things. Or, rather, I like trying to review and analyze things. The actual results aren't ever really as good as they should be, wgich isn't my point right now. My point is...well, for a while now, I've been debating whether or not to try and do more of it. Specifically, Ive been thinking of starting a topic on this forum for me to post my ramblings and reviews about...whatever I feel like talking about, or whatever you guys would like requested. And yeah, it's logic that I've tried doing before. This would be a more serious push to actually do it right for once. So. Bullseye. Lian Yu. Quiver's Corner. Whatever I decided yo call it. Would you guy's be interested in hearing my reviews and ramblings, or is this entirely just a vanity project? 7
Zathoth Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Only if you call it Bullseye and use a target as your rating system. 1
Delightful Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I'm not gonna 100% say yes, but I think its worth trying out. If you dont like it and no one else likes it then stop, if it takes off and becomes a super popular thread then amazing! But you wont know if you dont try.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Yeah. You should do it. I had a idea of something like that.

The Honor Spren she/her Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 If the Sharder's Stalking Guide map is accurate, I may be living about 30 minutes away from someone here. I wonder what the chances are that I've seen a Sharder in RL before... Do tell who
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I'd read that thread! I'll take it you liked the movie? Can't multiquote on mobile, but is read it, Quiver. And yes. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much.
The Honor Spren she/her Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Can't multiquote on mobile, but is read it, Quiver. And yes. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much. There actually is a way to multiquote on mobile, if you're okay with it taking some time. Quote someone, copy their quote, quote someone else, paste the other quote on, and if you need to do 3+ people, copy both the quotes together and go quote another person. If that makes any sense.

In other news, I recently watched The Princess Diaries for the first time in years, and all I have to say is…. Because yikes. 1

Kobold King he/him Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 My brother made a bad pun, which was immediately followed up by a deafening crack of thunder from the storm rolling in on top of us. We're not sure if that was a warning to stop punning or God's ba-dum-tss. ...but seriously, if you don't see me the rest of the day it probably means our Internet service provider got zapped. 3

Basically: Just watched the Princess bride for an english asigment. The councidence is real.
