So I was really excited to get into conference all state. Really excited. I had gotten an 100 on my top level vocal solo, and felt really good about it. I also did conference all state last year, so you would think I would get in no problem. 

Apparently not. I'm not not in, but I've only been selected as an alternate. That... crushes me. Now I did change voice parts which could be part of the issue, but I have been looking forward since Conference all state finished to getting in. I worked my butt off to get that 100. And now I've only been selected as a person who might get in if another person can't do it? 

I guess this is an issue of expectations, but it still hurts. This is super important to me and... ugh. Just ugh. When you do your best and you still don't get what you think your best warrants, it hurts. 

Oh and my parents decided to move me out of my personal room. No more big bed, no more privacy for me.

@Flash *Hugs* I know what your going through. I have experienced being  talented and entering into competitions where I was certain that I would come out on top. I anticipated the best possible outcome  only to be let down and utterly disappointed when I receive nothing in return for my efforts. Don't give up keep plugging along and using your talent and trying to reach your goal. The pain will pass and you will succeed.

I was supposed to stay late and get loads of work done today as I'm lagging behind a few deadlines. I had also planned to watch GoT with people out, and meet my best friend for a well needed walk and chat through town at night. But I got suddenly sick and had to leave to go home and rest shortly after i got to the studio. Now I'm home in bed again feeling ill and stressed out that I couldn't do all I needed and wanted to :c

Good luck! You can do it! I would say I feel but I don't think my classes will be anywhere near as hard. Your halfway there at least!

I'm having some problems of my own. My oldest sister recently contacted the family and told us she and her husband are separating. They haven't mentioned the word divorce yet, but we feel as if it's coming close. My mom and other sister are heartbroken and angry and I listened to them spout out their anger against the oldest sister the other day. I'm not as emotional about this situation as the rest and my mom tells me that it is because I can't comprehend it, I'm too young. But I fell like I do/can and what hurts me is not the separation but that my other family has to be so mean. They seem to think that my oldest sister is not being smart, is going to go off the deep end, leave her kids, being selfish, etc. I feel like they don't seem to think what she might be going through. Family is so important to me and I hate it when they go off at each other; I even hate it when I argue. I feel like they are always going to create this tension between each other and neither side will want to be the first to open up.

The spiders indicate that the sound is more eerie.

Day 5.

hoping for the sun tomorrow

I need to vent/ask for help on my gross toilet situation. Spoilers for extreme icky. 

I just pooped. In a bag. Because my toilet is blocked. The bathroom stinks like its putting me off my appetite and I'm starting to wonder how long it takes to get sick from sewage lying around. And Ive been peeing in the shower which makes the shower gross and also splatters on my leg which is so incredibly ick. Im also taking unrelated tablets for acne, large tablets which I have trouble swallowing. So my gag reflex is getting a lot of practise and its slightly hard to swallow anything. 

In addition to stress, I am therefore barely eating and Im getting married in just over a week and I need to be healthy. 

Im also staying elsewhere this week and I can't just leave raw sewage in the toilet for that long. Ill try talk to the landlord tomorrow but its so incredibly icky. 

And did I mention for plumbing purposes that the kitchen is next to the bathroom? So when I get up to eat I see the door and feel sickened and no longer want to eat. 

This is the 3rd time in like two weeks that its helplessly blocked and Ive spent days staring at that toilet bowl, pouring things down it, flushing and flushing and moving toilet paper around and accidentally splashing gross toilet water onto myself and I just pooped into a bag and I can barely go into the room so Im skipping brushing my teeth tonight - maybe I need a new toothbrush - and its supposed to be a place of cleanliness but now it basically a disgusting outhouse.

 This on top of assorted and varied wedding stresses and furniture and job hunting and remembering to shop and eat and drink and all those important things. 

I am an overwhelm.

I do not, and not totally sure where to buy one.. I don't know if I can call a plumber without talking to the landlord? But I'm also super busy and not always home during the day. Im gonna pray the landlord is home tomorrow and see if he can get the plumber in.

i decided to run an lg putting a massive workload onto myself whilst dealing with some of the worst anxiety ive ever had causing me to crash at least twice today and i still have about another month of the game to run and school to start and im really not having a good time

@Delightful if I were you I probably wouldn't give a damnation if I'm allowed to call the plumber. The situation is sirious. You wouldn't wait with calling a specialist if your gas oven was leaking gas, would you? 

Plungers can usually be bought in stores like Castorama, where tools and materials for building are. But maybe ask Google or your neighbors, that would be easiest I think. Hardware stores have them too.
