You know you are a Sanderfan when this happens:

A while ago, when I was reading tEotW, I was waiting for my Tae-Kwon-Do class to start, and one of my instructors came up to me and asked what I was reading. I said, "The Eye of the World, by Robert Jordan." He said that he had read some books by him, not the Wheel of Time, though, and really liked them. I asked if he had read any of Sanderson's books. Apparently he has read the first Mistborn trilogy and is working on the Stormlight Archive!

I was extremely happy for the rest of the day.

And then I found out the prologue of Oathbringer was free on Tor.com, so I was even happier.

When you are in a semi-asleep state, you are iamgining that you are on 17th shard. Then you think you got a notification so you snap awake and try to respond to it but you are nowhere near a computer :D

That happens to me all the time. But I usually think I'm reading a book.

You have a three day weekend for a holiday, and you look forward to it ending because it coincides with new sample chapters.

You promised yourself that you were not going to torture yourself by reading the sample chapters and just wait until November 14. But you are so weak that your resolve lasted just short of two weeks. I blame seeing Oathbringer ch 1-3 in my recent post feed. It just kept calling to me...

When you finally bought the first two SA books, and you want to reread them for Oathbringer but you have school and band and you have to practice for all-region and you might be performing in the pit for the school musical and you have a PSAT prep class with practice tests every Saturday to worry about yet you think you might be able to squeeze in a SA reread.

When you have an hour to do an overdue English assignment and you "accidentally" spend the whole time on the Shard instead. Which is what just happened

I still have math homework to do that's due tomorrow.

Any way, you know you are a Sanderfan when you are listening to depressing songs on Pandora (Most are from Hamilton) and you think, "well, if I want to become any more depressed, I just need to reread the Kaladin chapters. Mainly chapter 81 in Words of Radiance.

You know you're a Sanderfan when you wear a Mistborn T-shirt on the first day of the new semester and quote Jasnah in your very first class. XD

When on the first day of school you have a lot of extra room in your backpack, so in addition to the two books you are reading at the time, you put in your mass market copies of the SA.

When you have class when the new oathbringer chapters come out and all that you can do is try to soothe your professor to sleep.

When you consider starting to save up for a small bookshelf just for Sanderson's books. After all, I am determined to get all of his Cosmere books in hardcover, and all the others in paperback, or hardcover if I really want to. He has written 27 books. Including tWoT. And I'd like to get all of those in hardcover.

*Sigh* I should probably start working.

This! I only have one shelf for this, but I've packed all of the paperback versions in there pretty tight. So tight you have to struggle to get them out. My mom used to have about half a bookshelf just packed with Wheel of Time when I was a kid. It's 24 ish books in swedish translation ...

When you were reading an early nineteenth century novel in class and the word odium comes up at which point you quickly look around..

Book reader: "For all Odium and hatred shall descend upon thee, and the fires of they kingdom shall stand as a warning, and the dead shall cry out of the dust against you!"

Sanderfan: "AHHHHHHHHHHH ODIUM LEFT ROSHAR AND IS DESTROYING A KINGDOM!!!"
