You know you're a Sanderfan if everyone in your family are now Sanderfans because of you, and then you have read more books then all of them so you can't say a word abut any of that stuff. Also: You know you are a Sanderfan if you are already planning to go to the the release of Stormlight 3 whether or not it's at midnight on a weekday in the school year or not. 4

Literally me. Although my little brother is hot on my heels; he picked up the Bands of Mourning the day I put it down and has probably finished my copy of Arcanum Unbounded by now. The only advantages I have on him are being on this forum, and my copy of the White Sands prose. 1

Yes, that was a Studio C reference. Sorry, I think you meant "rationally annoyed." It seems that "Sanderson" isn't the only word your computer mispells. I like studio C too, Edit, sorry, just realized this was from a long time ago. You know your a fan of Brandon Sanderson when the only books you've read more than once are written by him. (And that you have a flashlight under your pillow, and sleep less than Vin.) Edited April 11, 2017 by spideyguy123 Quoted something that I thought was more recent.
Sunbird she/her Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 You know you're a Sanderfan when you see an author's last name, Scull, and misread it as "chull." 2
gruntle he/him Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 You know you're a Sanderfan when looking at this, the first thing that comes to mind is Dalinar´s house sigil. 5
Ward Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 You see a thick, worn paperback on a table, and you get irrationally excited thinking it might be a Sanderson book, but no, it's a dictionary 3

In fact, I've never seen a dictionary that would be thicker than The Way Of Kings. You know you're a Sanderfan when the above quote makes you spend five minutes trying to remember all the dictionaries you've ever seen.
Zennix he/him Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 You know you are a Sanderfan when you replace the miniature bride and groom on your wedding cake with Syl and Pattern figures. 10
Staphylococcus she/her Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 When you are in a really smoky pub, someone says the smoke looks like mist and you start throwing coins at people yelling "I'm a mistborn!!!". (My friend did this. Not me. I hope she's not on the 17th shard...:D )

Elenion he/him Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 When your Easter afternoon consists of binge-reading Rithmatist, up until you run out of pages and you're only 2 hours in. 1
Ward Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 When you're reading someone else, and there's an obvious worldbuilding exploitable loophole, but it never gets explained or used. 2

When you judge every other fantasy author you read by Sanderson's Laws of Magic. Also when any author who does a shoddy job of foreshadowing is ruined for you because Brandon does it so well and their books just don't compare. 4
Zennix he/him Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 You know you are a Sanderfan when your official signature is your name written in Alethi script. 1
Brightness Enna she/her Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 We have a name for "Sanderfan" but not one specifically for Stormlight people or Mistborn people or Reckoners people or Alcatraz people Once you read one, you are somehow sucked into the magic land we call "Cosmere + others just as awesome" (yes, that's its actual name)
Zennix he/him Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 You know you are a Sanderfan when you lobby for the Chasmfiend to become your country's national animal. 3
