  1. I just saw that brandon has released chapter 19 on his youtube channel enjoy
  2. " The endpapers inside the back cover of Oathbringer are by artist Howard Lyon, and depict two more Heralds: Jezerezeh’Elin and Vedeledev’Elin!" (from tor.com). I was wondering if anyone knows the meaning of the Elin part, is it a honorific or a last name or something else.
  3. “I can give you the whole bunker,” the merchant said. “Was supposed to be renting it to some caravans out of Revolar, but they didn’t show.” “What happened?” “Don’t know,” he said. “But it’s storming strange, I’d say. Three caravans, with different masters and goods, all gone silent. Not even a runner to give me word. Glad I took ten percent up front.” Might this indicate that the yellow spren orchestrated the death of the three caravans, to ensure that the stormbunker would be available for kaladin and the parshmen.
  4. For some reason i find myself shipping kaladin with shallash, i have no basis for this, my imagination just keeps returning to it.
  5. You know you're a Sanderfan when looking at this, the first thing that comes to mind is Dalinar´s house sigil.
  6. Great minds think alike. i´ve posted the same thing in another thread.
  7. My guess is sergeant pit, during an exchange with kaladin he said that he wouldn´t have thought that people could be reforged. Also that he needed to pretend that he was kaladin in order to lead his squad.
  8. I have been wondering about kaladins parantage aswell. The reason for this is the fact that kaladin is very tall and lirin, tien are small of stature and hesina is not described as very tall. Perhaps rosharan genetics works differently?.
  9. This means that my theory of the paragraph referring to Rlain might actually be correct.
  10. This got me thinking about a paragraph from the diagram which might refer to Rlain: "There has to be an answer. What is the answer? Stop. The Parshendi. One of them. Yes they are the missing piece. Push for the Alethi to destroy them outright before this one obtains their power. It will form a bridge."
  11. While reading kaladin´s coppermind page i came across a quote about the meaning of his name which is "born unto eternity". Could this be a foreshadowing of Kaladin´s future taking on Jezriens role and responsibilities. What do you guys and girls think?
  12. Hello everyone i´ve been wondering if this might be the case because of the Taravangian interlude in which he somehow identifies kaladin as a Windrunner. How could he be certain of that ?. Could it be that the orders are established in a specific order to give the potential knights a working organisation and command structure. I´ve not been able to find any clues in the books myself but thought that perhaps someone has already figured it out. ps I am reffering to the interlude in words of radiance where seth confronts taravangian about fighting a surgebinder and taravangian somehow knows the person in question is favoured by the wind.
  13. The Windrunner = Kaladin The Lightweaver = Shallan The Explorer = Jasnah ? The Bondsmith = Dalinar
  14. hello everyone i´ve been a long time lurker one the site and decided it was time to join. I wanted to inform you that there is a new synopsis for words of radiance on Brandons site.
