Yeah, Twinstorm self protection doesn’t make sense here, you’re not in danger, people have two or three votes and you have 1, two now

Kimrick watched the bloodbath commence from a nearby rooftop. Of course, he knew that some of these fighters were true Imperials and others were responsible for the rebel leaks... Ahhh the rebels. Commendable of course, but true change must come from inside the system. Those without the knowledge and ability to seize their opportunities were doomed to fight each other. What would they replace the Empire with anyways? Without a solid plan a new empire would just rise in it's place. Better to serve and wait... and wait... and wait! What was that? A glint from under someone's cloak that looked like... Hammyr sped towards his computer, they couldn't have gotten one of his files could they? if they had... He didn't want to think about what the supervisor might do. Punching in a few buttons he saw a physical file withdraw request made 15 minutes ago. But how did they gain access... Luckily this could be fixed, the rebels had forgotted to clear the logs...

Spoiler

Kimrick is not a good man to be clear, but if I'm playing an ISB agent, I don't want them to be all good or all evil so...

Anyways... votecount!

Ace(1): Kas
Argenti(3): Fura, Doc, TwinStorm
Hoid Slayer(1): TOW
Twinstorm(2): Argenti, IHAT

What I want to know is why people are voting good slayer. I vote him because I didn’t know what else to do today, why is everyone hopping on the train for that, as far as I know, there aren’t a lot of reasons for that.

edit: Hoid slayer. Autocorrect is my nightmare right now

This isn't really a train. I voted Hoid Slayer for this post, in which he called himself the "friendly neighborhood observer state" or something. That really feels like it's signaling to people who to PM to be added to the doc.

I'll be happy to jump on IHAT, as he's also sus to me, but I feel like Hoid needs to flip first.

Okay, looking back/reading and figuring everything out, I'm going to have to stick to my me-checking-the-thread-when-i-can't-think-vote

before I voted in self defense because of fear/confusion, @Argenti's voted me 3 days in a row. First day, he says "TwinSouls seems quite evil"

Now that just seems like hes begging to start a train

Both times I've started trains this game (admittedly which got 2/3 of the exes :P) they've been through deductional logic, see my posts if you want my reasoning. Argenti picks me as a target and consistently votes me for no real reason, and when asked for reason "he doesn't understand" Like @Furamirionind said, its fine to not understand and ask questions and try and figure it out, but thats your consistent excuse. With you being this active too, it feels like your scanning the thread for a threat.

So go ahead, exe me. Let it rest on your shoulders.

If I do die, look at Argenti again. Also IHAT. I haven't interacted with them too much. Fura, Kas and Doc all seem trustworthy. Hoid Slayer is too complicated of an issue for me to think about rn. The elims are {IHAT, Argenti, and Slayer} That's all I know

So.... I missed this when it was posted, but I bet someone didn't and is probably explains why someone was putting the kill on Coder. I'm somewhat surprised by Kas/Doc/Me being still alive if we are all ISB.

Ahh, the Theory of Unnatural Survival (TUS) strikes again

I have fallen into that waaaay too many times

While generally, there's some validity to it, in a game as foggy as this one, I would keep it in mind, but not read too deep into it

No. Absurdly utility-centric. (I would say utilitarian but I didn't do grad school to drop that word like this 😔 ) I would argue extremely bare-bones, no fluff, nothing. That's what confused me as it felt different from the ISB Killer, and more importantly, Doc claimed earlier to have received a similar message to mine this cycle (so last cycle was me, this cycle was him.) This excludes the Elim in question from being the ISB Killer if true because we have two messages cotemporously existing.

To anyone whose PMs I didn't answer, sorry, really struggling with energy at the moment, trying to sleep a little and come back with more SAN.

How many rebels do you think we started with?

We've already killed two

One died C1

We think there were two in contact last cycle, but one of them could be dead now

Planet Guy's message last night implies they weren't one of those two

That's at least 4 elims running around at the start of the game

I really thought I'd done a good job of not defending nor accusing anyone 😔

Hoid was acting very strange in PMs claiming I was evil but only because he saw me how he sees everyone and when I asked to role swap told me they would consider if I  claimed publicly?

I didn't say you were evil

You asked me to role-claim privately to you, claiming you had used an action on me but not telling me which

To me, it sounded a lot like an elim baiting for village roles

I asked you to claim because I saw no reason in revealing my role without you doing the same

Publicly, so hopefully someone with better game awareness than I can corroborate and do something useful with it

As for the see everyone part: what I was trying to say was I am no more inclined to tell you my role than anybody else. I don't trust you more than I do anyone else. That's not to say I see everyone as evil; it just means I don't have any reads, basically

Alr here are my reads.

I might just be too trusting but I'm pretty sure Fura's town. Regardless of whether they are, we can take them saying that Doc and Kas knew about the Divergent plan as well as fact unless both of them are elim, which seems unlikely, as one of them would catch the lie if either were village and Fura was elim.

So leaning village: Fura, Doc, Kas.

Using the groups of three from yesterday:
HoidSlayer claimed Ace, myself, and Fura.
IHAT claimed for both himself and Fura (so likely not lying about the message content unless both are elims) that he got Dive, myself, and Kas.
There are two worlds there. v!IHAT not much to take from that, except maybe a self-knowing claim from Fura, but unknown there. e!IHAT almost certainly means e!Fura.

We can probably take the Dive, Booknewt, and Kas message to be real, bc dual confirmation, and Divergent is confirmed elim (so prob sent the message). So that calls into question HoidSlayer's message. In v!HoidSlayer world: The elim who sent it is either Ace or Fura (or myself but I'm not counting myself as an elim in my own analysis), or was just trying to throw off ppl by not listing themselves, but then why send the message? In this world, e!Fura is probably the most likely - self-claim message, expose Dive, gain significant credit. So if HoidSlayer flips village, I will become very suspicious of Fura, but right now going to wait on that bc I have no good reasons to think HoidSlayer is village. In e!HoidSlayer world, then the list is all fake to throw people off, possibly knew about the other list from either IHAT, Fura, or Divergent.

Okay I looked at HoidSlayer's post and noticed something he brought up.

This is the only quote I could find where Hoid Slayer (wait it has a space well I'm not going to fix it this is a very train of thought post.) defended Divergent. Fura, if there are more, please let me know, but that's odd.

There is... a lot here that is actually making me think e!Fura. Mentioning they've been playing chaotically to make people think they're not playing deep is also something to keep in consideration.

So, Fura, I'm really sorry if you're village, but... Fura

Edit for clarification: I just realized I listed Fura as on my village reads earlier in this post , disregard that, I didn't really go back and change stuff after coming to my final conclusion so this is really just train-of-thought, chronological order thinking.

Okay I feel like Fura has some reason to push Hoid at this point, making me more suspicious of them, bc this is the second proveable inconsistency (I'm assuming Twin, Kas, and Doc are not all elims here, if they are, this is going to be impossible given the number of veteran elims on the same team.)

I don’t think the chat has necessarily nefarious intentions

Lol I go to my phone and the world blows up. I mean frankly @Booknewt, im happy to die though you're give reasons why im more likely to be good... and then say there are lots of reasons, those reasons being you can only find one post of Hoid defending Dive. I think your getting caught up in deepwolf worlds where I knowingly bussed a teammate almost certainly without their consent and im not a big fan of worlds where I do that. The simple answer is usually the right one.

Frankly, I think the evil team might be canabalizing themselves here? Its tough cause there's not a ton to go on but everyone is panicking they might die and the only village role that might feel that way is supervisor... and even then soooo
