In such a hypothetical situation, I demand a lightsaber duel while Duel of the Fates plays in the thread. This is a Star Wars game, damnit! (Presume you polled the dead doc, presume the others should chime in, but uh, if I'm the only guy you've got on rn, let's go lightsaber man. I INSIST ON THEMATIC MUSIC. LET THIS BE EPIC

I will second that request. First lightsaber duel in Andor. Although bold move to assume we feed the families of the rebel scum.

Also I either gave us a chance of survival or doomed us didn't I... I really really hope it's the former bc I will be kicking myself so much if it's Worldhopper and I just did something rly stupid.

Yeah I agree with the lightsaber battle, somehow doubt this situation will arise in SE again for a WHILE. Lightsaber battle to feed the families of ISB agents! No nepotism here, move along!

Duel rules are specifically from here onwards:

There were some snags that Drake's probably gonna take as learning points if he hypothetically does need some dueling rules but this is better than the ones in my Jedi v Sith ruleset because that allows a double kill and in the hypothetical scenario we need a tiebreaker, that doesn't help us here.

At the end of the cycle, each player may send me their lightsaber combat style option for each phase of the duel. The duel has six guaranteed phases, with a possible seventh. Making an attack RP post (more on this in a bit) that the opponent has not responded to allows them to submit a combat option for the final, seventh phase.

The three combat style options are: Djem So, Makashi, and Soresu. Djem So defeats Makashi, Makashi defeats Soresu (you should absolutely @ Kas about it, Obi-Wan fans), and Soresu defeats Djem So. If both players send in the same combat style option for a Phase, then it is a draw, and RNG will decide. 

So for example, if Wyrm sends in Djem So and Kas sends in Soresu for Phase One of the duel, then Kas wins Phase One. The player who wins the most Phases wins the duel.

As previously mentioned, there is a bonus seventh phase, unlocked by making at least one attack RP post ( > 200 words) without a response. More attack posts without a response do not get you extra credit.

There will be a 3 hour grace period before the end of the cycle. During this period you can't make new attack posts, but you can respond to anything you forgot to respond to.

The guidelines I will be applying are as follows:

• All duel-relevant RP posts must consist in more than 200 words of RP.

• For a post to count as an attack RP post, it must, shockingly, depict you attacking your opponent. In other words, it must be clearly signalled as an attack.

• Try to adopt a ‘yes-and’ attitude and not godmode this: the aim is for you and your opponent to have some fun despite trying your damnedest to murder each other For this reason, please do not RP dealing crippling or severe injuries to your opponents, or death. 

• For a post to count as a response, it must engage minimally with the attack RP post, i.e. acknowledge its existence/interact with it in some way.

If people are generally favorable, there would hypothetically be a Day 6, except there will be no votes or actions, just a lightsaber duel to decide everyone's fates

while the presumed participants would be @TwinStorm and @ThatOneWorldhopper, since they're the ones locked in a tied vote, if they don't want to then teammates could serve as champions in their stead. Ultimately it's not just about who dies so much but also which side prevails.

alternatively, we could certainly do this rules-as-written, and resolve the vote through a coin flip. Either way it will decide the course of the game and the Aftermath will be what follows.

Since I cant RP here once the next day starts...

Kimrick saw lightsabers drawn. "For the Empire!" He shouted and dove behind a wall pulling out his blaster. He would save his career. He would be a hero! 

As the two (currently unidentified lol) figures circled, Kimrick eyed the figure illuminated in [insert color rebel picks] and took aim. To his surprise, his hands were steady. Steadier then he remembered being even in his prime. Settling into the blaster, he waited for his moment. It wasn't his first time shooting at a Jedi, but this time he would succeed. The Hammyr would strike again!

He saw an opening

Shot fired

Shot connected!

Shot continued through the wall opposite the Jedi. Unnoticed by anyone in the room.

"Blasts!" He shouted, throwing the blaster at the ground. He forgot he was just a force ghost.
