However, that would assume a bit of personal risk that I don't want to go through with. For the moment (and it may well be the last action I take this Day cycle considering how little time is left before rollover) I'll remove my vote on |TJ|. Sorry, Biplet. I'm not taking tiebreaker yet either.

First there was the attempt on his life, then the reveal that they had spiked hiding in the caverns with them, and most recently the strange woman with the magical blade. That last one was probably the least of his worries right now. There was a commotion outside of his impromptu base of operations-a tent-and a guard came in, asking Yomen to follow him. Yomen was led to a large group of skaa holding three people down. "What is the meaning of this?" Yomen demanded. "We have found the spiked!" The crowd yelled. "All three of them?" Yomen asked. "I asked you to pick one per day for...interrogation. Pick one and I will take them." The crowd seemed confused by this, till someone pushed forward a young child. "This one!" The crowd roared. Yomen shrugged. His guards took the child. They would make it painless, then check the body for spikes. With that, he left to continue making ration plans. They had such little time. Doc12 Posted July 21, 2025 Posted July 21, 2025 (edited) Well. Rest in peace, Kidpen. Obviously, the Worldhopper vote was soothed. That makes them a person of interest now. My best reconstruction of how the cycle went. Please correct if any discrepancies. The day starts with some scattered votes. Sart votes biplet. Araris votes twinstorm. The TJ bandwagon begins when Aeoryi votes TJ. Araris changes vote to TJ. I join the vote on TJ. Walin joins the vote on TJ. Aeoryi claims that she has a sudden, solid suspicion, but does not change vote. In a subsequent vote, Aeoryi expresses regret, but does not change vote. Tj shows up. I change my vote to Biplet. Twinstorm puts a vote on Walin to avoid bandwagons, which Araris thinks is suspicious. Kidpen talks about a push away from TJ and votes for TJ again, which Sart thinks is suspicious. The TJ bandwagon dissolves. Aeoryi starts the Worldhopper vote, finally acting on their stated suspicion. I join that vote. Sart starts the Kidpen vote. TJ jumps to the Kidpen vote. Araris starts a Twinstorm vote. Kidpen jumps on said vote. Walin retracts their vote entirely, declines to put in another vote. There's a three way tie that is broken when Kidpen jumps on the Worldhopper vote. Biplet votes on Twinstorm after the tie was broken. Cycle ends, a vote on Worldhopper is soothed, leaving a 3 way tie again, and Kidpen dies. Conjecture time. Sart started the Kidpen vote, and TJ jumped on it. TJ has also expressed to me a few times that they trust Worldhopper and don't want them dead. At the point of Sart's post, there were still a 2 way tie between Worldhopper and TJ. TJ could have jumped on Worldhopper to save themselves, but chose instead to vote Kidpen. So these 2 are who I'm most suspicious of currently. I also noticed an effort to get a Twinstorm vote. Araris started it, asked whoever to join. Kidpen stayed on Twinstorm for a bit before jumping to Worldhopper to break the tie. I note that Biplet jumped on Twinstorm after they were out of danger. Perhaps if Twinstorm turns out to be an eliminator, Biplet could have claimed she did vote for them? Walin retracted their vote, telling us nothing. Kaladinsenseofhumorspren and theunknownorder chose not to vote, which also tells us nothing. Lastly, the soothing is weird because soothing Worldhopper vote didn't guarantee their safety, it changed it back into a 3 way tie. A last-ditch save from a guaranteed death to a 1 in 3 chance? The only problem was, his suspect had turned out to be an innocent. He didn't love Worlder. After all, the man was trying to kill him for making music, but he wasn't feeling that confident about his reads at this point. There was an interesting wrinkle though. Self preservation was the most common form of vote manipulation. Since you know your own role, it makes sense to protect yourself. However, TOW was claiming to have no knowledge of this. Why? If TOW was actually innocent, would the elims really risk a three way tie? That didn't make sense.
Aeoryi she/her Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Soothe here really just means we have a chaos gremlin with the Soother role I really don't see why there's a reason to tie three players unless the elims were unable to change their actions to adapt to the dayend in which case we can probably clear a lot of people. But it could also be a villager who had the same thing happen. That's my assessment.

Aeoryi's surety that they have found an elim D1 feels like it was a setup for them and Doc to switch to me. On the other hand, Aeoryi's claim that they have found a real elim and then switched their vote to me makes no sense. The only person I've talked to outside of thread is… Doc. That's evidence against their elim pairing, but it's evidence nonetheless. Speaking of which, Doc, what other plans have you and Aeoryi been making?

That is not inherently terrible, however that state of mind does not make for convincing arguments. Edit: Okay, I might've been too harsh, but you can see the point I'm making- you're pushing this highly implausible world which *could* be possible but in reality still doesn't make sense. Elim teams don't actively decide, "hey, it's time to push ThatOneWorldhopper today" when the only players being voted on are town. Does that make sense? Chanarash could think of 3 possibilities: Worlder was Spiked and either he or his team decided that 1/3 was better than 0. Worlder was not Spiked and a Spiked Soother is trying to confuse us. A Village Soother who really believes Worlder is not Spiked Soothed one of his voters None of them except one really make sense though, but they were possiblilties. We'll keep an eye out on future Soothes to see the pattern, but if, for some reason, it is from a villager, we might need a claim and reasoning for it. Also, if it is evil-motivated, it means TwinStorm is also village. @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren, we can only vote during the Day cycles.

The Unknown Medallion he/him Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Hi hello I'm still here, kinda recovering from a very sudden but thankfully brief bout of sickness and just generally relaxing for my one month of rest I think it's plausible that someone soothed TOW for the tie. Alvron may be gone but he is not forgotten. The other option to me is that the Soothe order was put in before the final vote state. I'd have to go check the vote movements to figure out that one.
