Archer is doing the responsible thing of explaining why a vote on him will disappear. I'd rather suffer through that discussion for 3 hours now than have to spend a whole cycle talking about it. 

My preference is a nice tie between Ash and Devo. It settles my qualms about killing Ash while still putting them in danger.

Archer read hasn’t necessarily changed. Could go either way, but now that he’s claimed I’d rather let him prove it / that he’s not tonight’s killer. @Archer could you remove one of the one votes? Ultimately your decision, but at this stage I don’t think Adhesion is helpful/necessary in affecting todays exe directly.

 

Does this alter your perspective if you recheck the rules?

Key thing here: Elim kill can be RBed and redirected but does not consume an action slot, preventing easy mechsolving.

Edited to add: Not sure how to feel about Archer not pointing this out when it's pretty obvious.

If anyone wants to tell me what I’m supposed to do, that’d be nice. Because it once again seems I’m the subject of a mid-cycle wagon based on gut, and no matter how I respond someone will find a ‘tell’ that supports their vote. So I don’t think I’ll bother responding to anything, as most of it isn’t anything real.

Beyond that, I’ve just played how I always do, making reads, random pop ins, all that? I agree with Archer that Aman’s turnaround is weird. He writes a mega Archer case, and votes me for ??? 

I really don’t want to vote on Archer for self pres. That’d just be stupid. I just wish I’d stop getting put in this position when as far as I know it’s never been a reliable way to solve me. Maybe I’m wrong there, but at least can someone tell me that? /shrug

That's very fair, and I'm sorry for putting you into that position! I'm open to voting elsewhere, hence me throwing a vote on Archer opposition with no public explanation

The world was in confusion.

Saffron looked around. Archer had claimed to be a windrunner. 

A foolish claim if it isn't true. So easy to prove, and a dangerous role.

Windrunners were supposed to be honorable. If he truly was accountable for his actions, there was actually no bad reason to. 

And with that, the votes moved off of Archerand onto mat.

But now with a mat lynch firmly secured, the question that many bad been asking was, "Do we even mess with ideals?"

He tried to ignore the spren telling him about "proper knight radiant doctrine" and "ideals come as you are ready"

Should they even consider using the second place votes to cause progression in the hallowed oaths?

Saffron agreed with his spren on this one. There was only a 2.5% chance an exe candidate would survive* 

Aman. He was full of opinions that were... Quite interesting? Saffron didn't know what to think about it, but seeing as he had replaced the previously-contraversial experience, the constant chatting was useful 

As for ashbringer, he had not done much to earn himself a loyal look. But yet, others had done worse.

And then there were the quiet ones. Hopefully they started to speak soon.

Saffron knew he should just follow his gut. Something was off about mat, and he just couldn't place it. Perhaps it was the argument before, or just what others said about him, but his case was building up like crem in aimia. There was only one right option.

Kinda sorta. For me that first point is more the opposite, but it still works. I do think Aman’s votes have been weird but doesn’t he always switch all over the place? I guess it’s less about the votes and more the magnitude of his you case and the lack of push that was actually behind it.

ED3T: Like, part of my bafflement is only my first post exists within a vacuum. Everything else was a result of someone coaxing more out of me  I.E. Kas asked me if I thought if elims would gun for RP Ideals, so I gave the objectively correct answer.

-Sleep is bad

-Feel Archer trying to brazen past the case however bad runs closer to E!Archer responses - compare to LG96 for instance 

-Say this despite not super being convinced to vote Archer. Point of thread discussion even if I wish we would all not put it in the last three hours c'mon (Aman excused here)

-Cannot really say V read Aman even if would not C1. I was pretty upfront about this. Sphincter tightening moment was real even if I got distracted from it.

-Mat is nonstarter for me. Sticking with the pro/anti issue.
