Not liking the attempted lynch on Joe. In theory he could still win,  but I'd rather not waste that protect.

And there are better targets. I'd be all for a stink policy lynch, because they haven't been helpful and have been harmful to village interests, and retain the ability to be harmful to village interests in the future.

But I'm even more in favor of a Straw lynch. I'll give more reasons later, after I've had time to get my MR ready.

The question I think we should be asking @asterion137 is why didn't he think about what would happen if Yitzi turned out good.

  1. Yitzi had a much higher chance of being an elim than Rand. Yitzi had been acting pretty sketchy overall and I felt Rand definitely shouldn't be voted on.
  2. I was the only non neutral voting on Rand. This was not the case for Yitzi. Several trusted townies also were suspicious of Yitzi so I wasn't that worried about getting flak for voting him.
  3. As you could see from the post, I firmly believed I would be lynched that cycle so I didn't expect Yitzi to be lynched whether I voted for him or not. Yitzi only had 2 votes on him before I voted for him IIRC.

I'll take this into consideration.

Can you tell me why you decided to vote Rand and I before you considered Yitzi?

Rand survived D1 on a last second switch and I thought you were kind of mayoring (not necessarily intentionally but people seemed to follow your reasoning enough that it felt like if you were an elim it would be catastrophic.)

Okay. Has mayoring came up in thread in either of those games, that you can recall?

Sorry to butt in, but yes, it did come up in the QF.

Also, sorry for not posting much. I have had access because of my hotspot on my phone, but I'm trying not to use it too much because I don't have unlimited data. I'm coming back home either late tomorrow or early Wednesday, so I'll post my thoughts on these last couple cycles then.

No worries butting in. I want to go to sleep, so I'm glad to have that answer sooner.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Ah okay, so you've played ToS as well.

I think I have just one more question. Why did you Seek the two players you did? (I know Stick was your second, but I need to be reminded who your first was)

I scanned Straw because I thought he might have a useful role because he had so many PMs and I thought he might be gathering information to use in his night actions. I scanned Stick because I had no pressing leads and people seemed to be reading him elim so I wanted to get some info for the village in case I was lynched

That being said, Strawagon looks really impure to me. Specifically I think one of Drake, Striker or PK are very likely evil (if Straw is good). If you die today, I can start looking at them really hard with confidence.

Well, I might even be offended if I didn't make the list. :D

That aside, you are calling me out for participating in a bandwagon that you yourself are participating in? (I'm not saying I am suspicious of you lol... You're a confirmed village role and all that. Which sort of gets at my point. Obviously voting on Straw doesn't in of itself mean someone is suspicious)

I will also note that I provided substantially more reasoning behind it than just about anyone else in the bandwagon... And at the time I had decided to vote on Straw, there was no bandwagon. If I had finished my post earlier I would have been the second vote.

Please do look at me really hard. I am rather interested to see what you find.

EDIT: Oh, also, seeing as I just got home. I also promised @randuir that I'd share some reads...

Rather ironically, one of my suspicions is in fact you, Rand. Wilson's accusations seemed to hold some water.

As for others... It looks like @Seonid's voting patterns could be seen as eliminator.

And I suppose Straw deserves an honorable mention on my suspicions list. There are some decent accusations out there against Straw. But mostly I'm voting Straw just because it's preferable to lynching someone we already know is a neutral. Particularly now that STINK has apologized for any bad behavior.

But honestly. I need more time to form any kind of halfway informed suspicions. I'm pretty sure I've missed a cycle or two, including the cycle that got an elim lynched, which is some pretty critical discussion for me to read up on.

Night 3
4:30 AM:
To add to an already miserable experience at the barricade, the sky started raining a short while ago. It's only gotten heavier...

5:15 AM:
The bodies of the fallen had been collected and arranged respectfully out of the way in one of the empty buildings next to the barricade. Apparently somebody had an issue with this. After the earlier skirmishes, nothing else had happened, until people started to see and smell the smoke coming out the makeshift morgue. Yells and shouts broke out, as a number of first responders rushed into the building to try either put the fire out, or to remove the bodies.

Name Name was first into the building, followed by Phil who had gotten there first, but had hesitated, with Locke and Jack trailing behind them. Shortly after they emerged dragging some of the bodies out. First out, Name ran back in to get another. But as he entered the building, something inside the house exploded, throwing him away from the building, as the roof collapsed. He hit the ground with a crack. Still on fire, he didn't move. He wasn't breathing.

5:30 AM:
Taking advantage of the chaos of the fire, the constables mounted an assault while the barricade defenders were trying to douse the flames (fortunately assisted by the persistent rainfall). Enough defenders had remained alert though, and both sides left with only minor injuries.

Straw was lynched. They were a Friend of the ABC and Roleless.

Tin has been burnt, and PMs are open. Remember to always check the thread before PMing.

Okay first off...I was about to post last cycle and say that I wasn't gonna be able to get up analysis of Straw until later because I was going to my Grandparents house today, and then right before I could post..my internet went out cuz we were in the country and I had no service until I was on the drive home haha...ain't that just the way.

Also I didn't realize the cycle was ending when it did heh oops

Sooooooo....Straw was a villager which is annoying, but will definitely help when I go back to do analysis on the other players (*soft crying because..too many posts)

Also one thing I thought was super weird when I caught up on the previous cycle was that @OrlokTsubodai was trying to get Joe lynched? Huh? Why would you put forth such a completely useless lynch idea...sorry but...lynching a neutral who hasn't even done anything to warrant a lynch and it would be a wasted day for the village imo.

Wilson's analysis on Rand makes me really suspicious of him....But I can't tell if it's just me being tired or if it actually warrants suspicion (regardless I'm gonna have to do analysis on him anyways since I'm an over-obssessive analysis poster who will likely put up my thoughts on everyone in great detail which means like 500 hours of reading and thinking hahaha)

I'm finally back. Anyone want to give me a rundown on what's happened so far?

Heh..Heh..that's gonna be hard ;)

You could always wait for my completely way to huge and dreaded "I really don't wanna make that analysis" post that will probably be coming tomorrow nightish....I'll tag you when it comes if you want haha

So, am I the only one who has read Wilson's analysis of me? I'd kinda expected to get lynched here, and am, in a way, a bit disappointed that I haven't been. The only real hole in her theory I've seen uptil now is that I haven't exactly been capitalizing on the suspicion I was supposedly creating, and that I still don't see why Elim!Rand would have avoided bussing Yitzi when it was clear he was going down anyway. I'll take another pass through her comments to see if I can find any other holes, but it looked fairly well put together the first time I looked through it (note: well put together doesn't mean that it's true, as it isn't. it just makes it harder to defend against).

Edit: That statement needs explanation. I wouldn't have minded getting lynched last cycle because it seemed to be a pretty lost cycle anyway. The Straw lynch would give some information, though by that point I had started to consider that he could very well be village, which would mean less information was gained, and with the likes of little Wilson breathing down my neck, I'm probably going to get lynched at one point anyway, so last cycle would have been a point where that would have done minimal damage.

I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed. I'll do a comb through of D1 because I'm pretty sure that with Straw being a villager, at least one eliminator wanted him lynched that day.
