    I don't know that there's a best power. They're all overpowered and would be amazing to have. Double atium, double gold and double steel are probably the most broken of the them, though!

    We don't know for sure right now, although Brandon has recently asked Peter to figure out a quanta of investiture, so to speak. It looks like Lightweaving is less "noisy" than Lashing, but that's all we've seen in comparisons so far.

    Mmm Deus Ex Machina only applies if the power/reveal isn't hinted at or foreshadowed beforehand, no? And Brandon does a crapton of foreshadowing for just about every significant event.

    For the metals, the power comes from Preservation. Allomancy is Preservation's power, the metals are the key that lets the power enter the Physical realm and be used. For the red eyes, here are a few WoBs on the matter: Glys, Renarin's spren, is also red, instead of clear. It's not just eyes that turn red.

    I'm not sure you could affix two gems to a single reed and have it still work at all. The different purposes would kind of mess with each other.

    I think because Ashravan's original soul was gone. His body has a soul now, thanks to the Bloodsealing, but it's a blank soul with no info. So she has to change *that* soul to believe that it has a history, a past, and so forth.

    Yeah, it's a typo that's been fixed in the ebook version.

    Different worldhoppers have different reasons and methods of getting to different worlds. The three in particular in the Purelake interlude are Demoux(Thinker) from Mistborn, Galladon(Grump) from Elantris, and Baon(Blunt) from White Sand. They're members of a society called the Seventeenth Shard, and they're hunting Hoid because they think that his meddling is dangerous, and that he needs to be stopped. We don't know the specifics of how they got there, other than likely through the Cognitive Realm. None of this has been on-screen yet, so there's not really a specific book that covers it. It's just hints and guesses and WoBs for now.

    He's at least over 10,000 years old.

    It's generally a slip up when they do it. They're using magical means to speak the language (usually), and when they use words that the local language doesn't have a close enough equivalent to, it comes out as what they actually said, instead of the translated version.

    There's still some atium and lerasium around, but not much. Marsh has some, and there might still be a few beads of lerasium. But Ati and Leras are dead, so there's not going to be any more. Sazed might decide to create some equivalents, but as far as we know, he hasn't so far.

    They were out in the middle of the Shattered Plains. Vasher wouldn't have a reason to go out that far, and wouldn't have been able to without a bridge anyway. And his Returned form is a bit taller than a regular person, but isn't a giant, and doesn't glow. He is on Roshar because he can feed off stormlight instead of Breath, though.

    Well the Blade is so light that it makes very little difference. And during summoning, it appears to have the same momentum as he does when it appears.

    To restate: Just like how you can't Lash or Push/Pull on a Shardblade, you shouldn't be able to Lash yourself in Shardplate (even living Shardplate) if it's made of spren.

    Have you read Secret History? The Ire seem to have found a way to keep at least some of their abilities.

    I could see him acting like a serial killer, but actually having a grand plan behind it, similar to the things he did to start the house war in Era 1. And the agents tracking him and eventually realizing what he's up to. Though his grand plan could also be a very bad idea, too. We shall see!
