  1. Been there too, a few times. It's pretty neat!
  2. Cannot believe somebody actually managed to pull off the "It Was All a Dream" thing. Well. Really well. My reaction was not dissimilar to a certain ruler of the underworld:

    LightCreativeIndianabat-size_restricted.

Never underestimate fanfic writers, y'all. (Fortunately, it still ended on a sweet note. Otherwise I really would've burst into flame.)

I have to say, the “It Was Just a Dream” that was pulled of in the first season on Phineas and Ferb was pretty darn good.

      One of the best ;)

@Chinkoln Right, sorry! That's actually something I'm not sure I'm comfortable sharing here, as the source material is a visual novel that can skew 18+. (You can turn that aspect off, which I did, but still.) The fic itself is clean so far but I haven't finished yet, so I can't make any guarantees. If you still want to know, go ahead and PM me.

@TwiLyghtSansSparkles This is indeed and unfortunately true.

@Maddie The Succulent Despite loving Phones and Ferb when I was younger, I don't actually remember that bit. Doesn't surprise me, though, that show was genius.

Someone said Phineas and Ferb and I arrived.

Sorry that's all I have to say...

  3. Whyyyy was this never released on an album?!
  4. In case any of y'all wondered what a MLP/Stormlight crossover would look like, uh, here you go?

(I actually wrote it some time ago as a gift for a certain honorable spren, I'm just now posting it to a place that's not here.)

  5. Whoo-hoo! (So uh, what pen you gonna buy to mark the occasion? )
  6. This is very interesting. (Still a beautiful pen, though! Nice ink, too.)
  7. Swallowed in the Sea will forever be one of my favorite Coldplay songs, and one of my favorite memories. The first time I heard it, I was walking home from the library on a rainy October afternoon. The trees were all bright yellow and the smell of petrichor was absolutely sublime

Man, I miss the past sometimes.

  8. The fact that Miss Minutes in Loki is voiced by Twilight Sparkle makes me very, very happy.

Man, that first episode and recognizing the distinctive lilt to her voice underneath that Southern accent was a true moment of glory for my ears.

I knew I had heard it somewhere! I just couldn’t place exactly where

  9. Not as much into BTS as...some...are, but this song is fabulous. Like, one of my all-time favorites. So thanks, sis, for the introduction.

(Live version also looks like it's good, and has translated lyrics subtitled if you're interested.)

  10. Sailor really needs to stop it with the pretty pens. I saw those and had a similar reaction.
  11. Somethin' about that 3/4 time signature, man.

      To play, conduct, or sing?

Honestly, just to listen! (Conducting/playing it is kinda fun too. Don't have much experience in that regard, though.)

  12. I think mine's slightly wonky, too--I noticed that at the tip, the tines just barely don't touch. It writes fine for the most part, but it hard starts more than it should and that's probably why. Really? That's interesting. The review that sold me on the Carene (more that I already was) mentioned it was slightly stubby. Guess it's just inconsistencies in finishing, maybe?
  13. God Himself is going to have to gag me before I shut up about this movie and its music. Anyways, have a gorgeous song:

In contrast to the version actually in the movie, funnily enough, this version is sung by the actress who plays the main female lead. And holy storms her voice is beautiful.

  14. Goulet are some of the best. Sorry you had you find that out the "hard" way, though. Isn't it, though? I was late to the game and missed the Kumpoo, but looking at it now, it's a nice one! (For me, the one that got away was the Rokka.) I actually have another 3776, the Nice with a fine nib, and that has some delightful feedback. I was actually surprised this one didn't! Platinum's nibs are so good that I don't mind either way, though. ETA: I wanted to mention that I was thinking about getting it stubbed if I didn't like it, but in a pleasant surprise, this B is actually just slightly stubby already! Only a little, but it lends it some character that I really like. (I want to get my hands on a Waterman M nib for the same reason.)
  15. These brief summer rainstorms almost make up for the heat.

    Almost.

  16. Welp. You speak the truth. I, uh, did splurge on a Platinum limited edition, though... Couldn't stop thinking about the 3776 Shiun, so I finally nabbed one from JetPens, B nib. Unusual for me, but I wanted to try something new and it was the only one they had left. It's storming gorgeous and it writes like butter.
  17. Put a playlist on shuffle, three songs in a row that I needed to hear. Music can be pretty cathartic, who knew? Anyways, I'm sharing them here. Because who knows, maybe one of you needs to hear them too.
  18. I really liked that Wicked Witch one they did not too long ago, and Pro Gear-wise they've made a few up my alley (Graphite Lighthouse and Pillow Book). Sailors just aren't cheap enough to casually collect, unfortunately.
  19. Happy birthday! ^_^

  20. It is a feeling of immense satisfaction to watch somebody suffer the same emotional trauma you did at the hands of one of your favorite books. :D

One of the Stormlight Archive books?

No, actually, it was Aurora Rising. (She does want to read Stormlight, though, and I look forward to that day.)

I’ve heard Aurora Rising is a good book, but Sanderson has the most tormenting books I have ever read. My grandma is reading Way of Kings right now, and she is in pieces because of Sadeas/Dalinar, Shallan/internally, and Kaladin/winning over the bridge crew. I can’t wait for her to meet Moash in the later books…

  21. Will do! Ah, that sounds about right. Either way, this edition's not quite my thing either, but it's fun to see them make stuff like this.
  22. I'm kinda in the mood to watch it now, actually, so hopefully it won't be much of a wait. Is it that bad? I've heard the nib plating can be flaky, but that example was after months of constant flushing.
  23. I've only seen it once, and that was years and years ago. I'll get back to you after I watch it again and get the reference.
  24. Am I dreaming or did Sailor really just make a pen based off The Matrix?
