*gasp* It comes in wax? I'm getting one! (And thanks!) I've got a sample of Aurora Borealis and it's beautiful. Good choice! Can't really speak for the others, but I've heard Baystate Blue stains like no other, so be careful.

Glacier is pretty gorgeous, but I've had my heart set on Imperial Blue since the beginning, so I got that. (Also I don't think they had Glacier in stock. ) It looks so good. Once I get it cleaned out, I'll try and get some pics! The problem mostly lies with the bottle of silicone grease I have. It's tiny, stiff, and a dropper, which makes getting anything out of it an absolute pain. Definitely gonna look for a more forgiving bottle, maybe next time I order cleaning supplies.

Thank you! I got a LAMY Studio, which is pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be, and a bottle each of Kyo-no-Oto Moegiiro and Graf von Faber-Castell Yozakura. The F on the Studio is much better for me that the standard M, though I still want to try the gold version. Moegiiro is an absolutely lovely green that I stuck in my Franklin-Christoph (where it promptly leaked. Still need to get the hang of eyedroppering...), and Yozakura is a nice light pink that is just a little too light with a fine nib. I'll have to see if I've a M or wider I can use with it next. I can imagine the headaches that would cause, yeah.

@Kasimir Yep, it's a medium! It's also got quite a bit of softness, too. Really bouncy and fun to use. Also uh it's my birthday tomorrow and I may or may not have just bought myself two more inks and a pen whoops In other news, I'm thinking of rehoming a few pens I don't use as frequently. Once I get that sorted out, how would the denizens of this fine thread like first dibs?

@Kasimir A cursory search suggests that the Jentle line was North America only since 2016, and given Sailor's bajillion new inks of late they decided to drop the exclusives. Of course, given that this is apparently the second time they've been discontinued, it's entirely possible they'll be back again in a few years. @Cyclops Indeed! Though it has some hard starting issues due to its magnetic cap not creating a perfect seal when closed, I enjoy using it.

New ink day! Sailor's discontinued their Jentle line of inks, so I grabbed a bottle of Sky High before they were sold out. I'm glad I did: it's a lovely color!

Sometimes you're bored at work and your brain starts thinking thoughts. Sometimes they're normal thoughts, like "I'm hungry" or "Break when?" And sometimes they're thoughts like "I should write a story about a tsundere ghost in a publisher's warehouse who's spent the last decade or so working her way through every book in the catalog."

I’m sure this is up there with “the sun rises in the mornings” in terms of generally accepted truth but filling from a sample vial is a p a i n. (I’ve got one of those Pineider snorkel thingies but it’s the not-so-universal-after-all first-gen one.)

This movie does nothing halfway, does it? This score is amazing and I’m going to be listening to it for a while, I think. (Especially Mitsuha’s theme: it makes me want to cry every time I hear it, but I can’t tell if it’s from happiness or sadness.)

Finally got my hands on that nifty edition of Dune with the teal pages. Also picked up Elements of Eloquence by Mark Forsyth upon recommendation.

Oh, so there is a word for it. Nice to finally have that cleared up. Saying "I'm sure sleeping together would be great and all but really I just have an overpowering desire to spend the weekend cuddling next to someone on the couch reading a book or something" was getting old.
...of course, like so many of these Pinterest word cards, it's hard to find an actual source.

If somebody could explain to me why despite honestly enjoying the process of writing—like, sitting down and typing is fun to me—it’s so hard to actually do it, that would be great.
