  1. Primeval walks in a completely random direction then suddenly spins around "Where is Block G room 8?"
  2. Gets an entire fanbase screaming and pounding on their door, all equipped with shardblades Inserts the 17th shard
  3. *stares at Dom's hand but doesn't shake it* "Hello Dom! No, these definitely aren't spiked" *nervous laughter* *hides the bag behind his back* "I'M NOT SUSPICIOUS YOU'RE SUSPICIOUS!"
  4. "Oh, ok. I thought that maybe I should be worried for a moment. Anyone want cookies?" *hefts up giant bag of cookies that he smuggled into the asylum*
  5. *walks in* Hello! I think that I have a very severe case of Brandofandonitis. I keep staying up too late reading booooo. . . WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING IN THIS CLINIC
  6. I tried to DM a campaign with my family (The Wild beyond the Witchlight) and it was a mess. The artificer tinkered with a rock to make it smell like poop and tried to slip it in a nearby child's pants. He got caught. The rogue tried to burn down the giant tent but failed because the artificer grappled him They spent around 10 minutes real-world time deciding if they wanted to pay 5 sp or sneak into the carnival Read into everything I said way too much All of this was in the first 30 minutes, during which they accomplished nothing.
  7. Eye of the World by Robert Jordan Just got to the first fight scene (took a while lol)
  8. But he did say that Investiture, energy, and matter are the same
  9. So Aluminum is a metal that destroys Investiture, stores Investiture, and blocks Investiture
  10. Shouldn't the fact that it wipes out all of your allomantic metals prove that it is not inert, and rather actively working?
  11. Wouldn't this require a ton of Breaths though? We've seen how it takes more Breaths to Awaken things that don't look like they are human, like with steel. It seems plausible on paper, but in action I think it would be tougher than it looks.
  12. I always thought that it was Hoid just messing with people in 10 different disguises.
  13. Dude if he whips out another book tomorrow I will actually be confused. Does he write in a bend-alloy bubble?
  14. Basically, Odium fought and killed Devotion and Dominion here. Their combined powers (the Dor) somehow got into the Cognitive Realm. Because the Cognitive Realm has actual locations, certain magics only work in those locations where the specific concentrated powers of the Dor are. As a side note, the untamed power of the Dor in Sel's Cognitive Realm is why it is so hard and dangerous to move on and off of Sel. I would guess that more connection to that specific location of the Dor is how who does what magic is decided
  15. Don't forget the cutscene with him in the back of Elantris
  16. I wouldn't think this would work. You don't just need to be congruent, you need to have Connection. That's why Kelsier needs the orb from the Ire in M:SH. Influencing your emotions doesn't form connections, just influences your frame of mind.
  17. Ok yes, the sand does have some relevance but there isn't really any cosmere wide plot going on in the background of it. They will not miss out on much if they don't read it
