  1. https://reactormag.com/read-wind-and-truth-by-brandon-sanderson-chapters-23-and-24/ Fabrial advancement and the rewritten flashback for Szeth. I didn't see much different personally. Rushu is very endearing, but so is Bippy. Edit: Oh and Shallan is so going to get caught out. "Southern" Scadrians surely know each by the eyes.
  2. auxiliary /ɔːɡˈzɪlɪəri,ɒɡˈzɪlɪəri/ adjective providing supplementary or additional help and support. Szeth already has a sword...that would make his Shardblade auxiliary by definition? If you were going to be strict about it. And the highspren are!
  3. Nohadan's weirdnesss in the vision might be explained by the fact the visions exist in the spiritual realm. Past, present, time and space. All together. Remember when Dalinar stays in the vision and sees the light in the dark? That's probably Honor right?
  4. Kaladin being a literal Son of Tanavast. Dang.
  5. Much as the title questions. I've seen people wondering that if Odium wins against D-Honor that Odium can just be released from the Roshar system. The agreement as follows: “Agreed,” Odium said. “But if I win, I keep everything I’ve won—including your homeland. I still remain bound to this system, and will still cease hostilities as you said above. But I will have your soul. To serve me, immortal. Will you do this? Because I agree to these terms.” “And I,” Dalinar whispered. “I agree to these terms.” As long as Honor follows this agreement wouldn't Odium have a Shard bound in service without the restrictions holding two shards would impart. And further, as long as Honor is following this Oath to serve can the power be used more "freely" as it's the fulfilment of the oath? What do people think?
  6. Absolute 6 Dimensional Chess from B$
  7. Given the Everstorm moves West to East it would hit Azamir before the Shattered Plains so they'll need to get everything done in the West first before they relocate the Fused. It's either that or the give up on the attack at the Shattered Plains the moment the storm hits. Which could make sense as the Plains may not be that important but controlling the majority of the Western continent could be a reasonable result.
  8. Going to Dalinar after swearing off the Kholins is a very odd move. I wonder if the Stormfather was more simplistic but Dalinar's behaviour was forming a proto bond - Like Kaladin had with Syl without saying the first Oath - And this bond was a modifying influence on the Stormfather.
  9. I think the Stormfather is far more Tanavast than we've been led to believe. How Leras had 16, Tanavast had the Stormfather. The Sibling has commented how different the Stormfather is - And the timelines aren't matching up on their existinance; Navani is going to figure something with that out.
  10. I think the mists on Scadrial are a good theory if nothing else
  11. After today's chapters this feels relevant. Edit: I will not fix the spelling
  12. I gladly offer the Stormfaker theory up in exchange for this excellent story. Take all my janky theories. Perhaps the Highstorm and the Wind were once considered closely but human perception changed that. The Sibling being upset over their...siblings being changed is so very sad. Sigzil seems so very close to realising that the Fused can just abandon their bodies and appear in the next Everstorm in Azamir or wherever else they need to be moving Eastwards as required.
  13. Oh my god Dalinar spoke in Stormfather type font. This is so bloody hype. Ok Shallan, mildly interesting, I do wonder if she's just going to walk up to the door and say "I'm here to see Mraize" Kaladin getting working on Szeth is great and I love it. These chapters were all Dalinar baby - I suspect more of Tanavast remains than was originally hinted at. Perhaps a lot more. Stormfather is talking as if he WAS/IS Tanavast. Thoroughly exciting. Roll on December.

  15. https://coppermind.net/wiki/Chasmfiend#/media/File:Chasmfiend.jpeg I just don't see a Thunderclast beating something it's only as tall as. In a battle of apendages the thunderclast is outmatched; it's weight and momentum are it's advantages. The stone that makes up a TC is surely not that much stronger than regular stone; yes it's probably a bit invested but that's not going to be too much considering it's vulnerable to a shardblade.
  16. I reckon 1 Chasmfiend could do it. If it's the size of the one in TWOK they kill on the hunt it would demolish a Thunderclast 1v1. I think the strength of the Thunderclast is how impervious it is to standard arms and it's size. But a Chasmfiend would just snap it's arms and legs off.
  17. Oh this is very interesting; Baxil what did you ask for? And what did you actually get?
  18. Until I figure anything else out they're all in Kharbranth getting married to existing citizens.
  19. One of them is in the meeting of the Monarchs; I think the bulk departed as they were Diagram aligned. Probably all quickly getting married to citizens of Khabranth. You'd think so - We're getting big hints that Navani's knowledge of fabrial mechanics is going to lead to some serious changes for The Sibling and The Tower.
  20. I think Kaladin would do it better.
  21. He's already learning to protect without direct intervention. Imagine a god that is just the best therapist.
  22. That's a really good point; for The Sibling to vanish in the book we're expecting to learn about it - That's just a feels bad man moment.
  23. I think the battle in the shattered plains will lead us into the last legion 2 - abandonment boogaloo
