That is also how I read it; The Twins makes more sense to me that it refers to different people than the Wife already mentioned.

Jasnah as Retribution If that happens I need Taravangian to survive losing the Shard. I need him to be unable to die and imprisoned forever. What Shards need to combine to make Justice
-
Yes! Dajer was talking about all the different defenses that failed to protect them from the Dakwara? A planet, presumably, ruled by nerd sorcerers wouldn't be something I'd like to mess with. I think any military power attempting to fight Elantrians on Sel is in for the worst time.

I will have a Smoker Whitespine. I will have this in my Cosmere or I will see it reduced to ashes around me.

I think it's pretty unbelievable that Hoid didn't have this Wife until "recently" (Post WaT at minimum) I can't see Brandon writing his most recurring character as an adulterer - Wife has to come after his relationship with Jasnah IMO. Brandon is such a tease for including all these little details but I very much enjoyed them all.

I think the physical destruction of Kharbrant is a violation of the oath Rayse made in his capacity as Odium. It will come back to bite Taravangian but the issue is the deal was secret between him and Rayse. Not sure how it can be exploited without knowledge of it. I suspect Honour itself will play a part in the downfall.

All weaponry eventually becomes monofilament. It's just like everything becoming crabs.

He needed Vienta for that

Taking a look at the Fused variant that uses tension is probably a good place to start. I personally am thinking about the engineering applications of tension. Give Navani some stonewards and see what they can develop.

I'm of the opinion that armour spren are "decided" well before you reach the 4th Ideal. Every single time we see Kaladin accompanied by Windspren I believe those are always the same spren and they are destined to become his armour. I don't believe he's special in that regard, so Sigzil's Windspren were predetermined. I don't think we have any in book information on "switching" orders in any great detail? It surely happened but pre-Recreance probably wasn't that problematic so might not have been particularly of note.

I would argue that the deal was made out of sight of everyone else. Odium kept pulling people into that little spiritual realm pocket. Taravangian was marvelling at all the plans Rayse had. I don't think anyone else, Shard or otherwise, would have been able to view it without entering the Spiritual realm. As such the nature of the deal is hidden completely. If Cultivation could know would there be any reason to not exploit it immediately? The wave is coming "ah ah ah you can't damage Kharbranth" My view is the deal is made with the power and you can't just back out of it without consequence - Especially now he's bound up with Honour as well.
-
I definitely agree with Taravangian having a limited amount of time before he gets wrapped in knots. My own comment from another thread: He's in a tough spot. Honour requires Oaths and the word of a Shard was already binding at the cost of great personal risk. We saw how Honour abandoned Tanavast sticking with his personal morality instead. It's impossible to exist like that IMO Dalinar was aware of the issues having lived through the downsides of blindly keeping your word with no regard for context. Taravangian has his limited time before he's getting tied in knots. Plus anyone who knows what Honour is can hold Tarvangian over a barrel. "You want something from me/us? Let's have a formal contract "

I think it's important to the story that Adolin lost his leg. Our main characters have to suffer some real consequences and growth (haha) opportunities.

At the end of WaT we see Retribution turn Wit into red mist. It has occurred to me that during Mistborn we never see Ruin act this directly against any individuals. We see Ruin oppose Vin which leads to destruction e.g. Vin adjusts Scadrial orbit or rotation, but is opposed but Ruins power when trying to improve the situation. Ruin is using agents consistently - Essentially any Hemalurgist - But is there a reason that Ruin cannot act directly and remove difficult people instantly. I could take this further and ask why Ruins doesn't just shatter the entire planet? Am I forgetting something about the deal with Preservation?
-
I reckon I do actually do some good with Ruin. Sometimes you need a little strife to move things along. Edit: I would apply a significant amount of Entropy in the area immediately surrounding Moash.
-
I do like this theory; Urithiru runs under Alethi law AFAIK - But I think if it ever becomes relevant Retribution will just get to argue Wit isn't dead (Assuming he actually knows)
-
I really enjoyed the first one because it's also me to B$ asking for an explanation on what the cost actually is.
-
It makes me wonder if there is some real element of the shards being more effective when they have an invested base with invested life present. Otherwise it would ultimately be pointless to destroy all life on, for example, Scadrial. Autonomy wanted to take it over IIRC? Don't quite follow why it's all necessary yet.

The Autonomous origins of hemalurgy

My personal theory is some kind of spren. Spikes carry the torn fragments of a spirit web and attach that to another person. There has to be some form of what I think of coding to impart an effect. I am skeptical that gaseous Investiture can impart that coding. Moash has something like Iron/Steel sight but for Investiture - A secret spren or something similar trapped in a gem may be able to impart the ability to detect Investiture. -
He's going to get a massive payout when the Heralds return. He's surely put money on Kal coming back.

Radiants Weaponizing Anti-Stormlight
BinarySecond replied to Trusk'our's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I would agree that lashing doesn't put Stormlight into a Radiant the same way they breath it in. Otherwise any Lashed Radiant could just expend that Stormlight to fuel their own abilities. You could have a "double" Raysium dagger that has both Anti and Typical Stormlight and "inject" both at the same time. The only reason the Enlightened Spren don't die from Anti Stormlight is because they're not 100% Stormlight; They're a mix of Void and Stormlight. Fused are pure Voidlight Cognitive Shadows. As Bob said, Raboniel's daughter was annihilated by the effects of the dagger. Anti light is arguably the most dangerous for a Cognitive Shadow stapled to a body as all they are is Investiture contained in a vessel; Rather than a Radiant who isn't. -
Do we know the timeline of Ishar tapping into the Well of Control? I can't imagine how being magically tied into God's Divine hatred for (I assume) at least a thousand years would be beneficial to one's well being. I'm very excited to see how the Heralds fair without that direct Connection to the power.

Coppermind indicates that Post Catacendre Koloss are just a regular humanoid species so I guess it's just like the Singers.
