  1. That's currently a theory I believe in. It's Kaladin, Szeth and Syl with the 9 surviving Heralds.
  2. Jezrien is dead. (I made the same error)
  3. I promise I read these books.
  4. I thought about that but which Herald would be missing? Taln and Ash are a pair at this stage, so they're both there. Perhaps just not Nale?
  5. Such a good catch. I was wondering where the number 12 came from through - So it's probably 9 plus Kal, Syl, and Szeth. Who are the 9? Unmade?
  6. I'm glad that Lift is there helping Gav, very much living her oaths. I'm glad he's got someone. Lift continues to be endearing but damn girl, you'll need to deal with reality sooner or later.
  7. It just seemed that way by the way I read. I'm glad I'm not the only one because it was a ridiculous understanding of the situation. I hope Mraize isn't doing some triple agent stuff I'd rather he was just out for himself.
  8. She was still wearing all her armour except for the section she dismissed to take the blow herself. I would agree she was not almost killed.
  9. Is it correct that Anti-Stormlight isn't Anti-Investiture, it's just oppositely polarised Stormlight coded Investiture?
  10. I'd bet dollar to donuts (is that the phrase?) their knowledge of alloys and alloy production (and alloy accessories) will produce some fantastic results
  11. If there is another metal that can transport Investiture we don't know about sure; but Shallan feels the Anti-Stormlight: "In this case, it injected the anti-Light, making it seep through her. It wasn’t painful, not compared to the actual wound, but it was wrong. A cold that prowled through her veins, carried through her body with every beat of her heart." And: "She decided not to try, as it did not seem to be able to hurt her so long as she set her jaw against the pain and refused the normal Stormlight that would heal her. Because if those two met…" If there's another metal that can do it, great! Ghostbloods seem to have access to materials most would consider difficult or rare.
  12. "The bolt had a metal tip, with a gemstone clipped into the shaft" It has a Raysium point. It "injected" Shallan with Anti-Stormlight. I also think Lieke is probably the one who transferred them to Shadesmar.
  13. https://reactormag.com/read-wind-and-truth-by-brandon-sanderson-chapters-27-and-28/ For your reading pleasure, 1 month to go (almost)! My man Szeth is getting a stew whether he wants it or not.
  14. Oh that's good. I think it adds credence to Honor being added to Taravangian forcefully as it adds to his current intent.
  15. Yeah the dagger only worked because of the Raysium core - It doesn't appear that you can use kinetic energy to put 2 lights together. But you could do that old bag of holding just outside a bag of holding. Two gems, raysium needle; pushed together on impact. Enjoy your (very) High Explosive rounds.
  16. Praise Adonalsium for that. I wonder what happens to the armour is ONE of the spren is annihilated.
  17. Who else to Judge the murder of a Highprince but the King Queen of Alethkar.
  18. I refuse to sit by and let Daddy-M become a thing. I shall fight you on this.
  19. Well, I did say surely Scadrians can recognise each others eyes. Sja-Anat spying for the Ghostbloods is pretty unexpected though.
  20. Kalak is gripped by indecision. He couldn't even get around to deciding to write an article let alone decide about publishing it. Same for telling people, he can't decide to tell them because he's afflicted with magical analysis paralysis .
  21. Not with you on the multiple Dawnshards. It's a quirk of English to refer to things by plural like that if you were referring to a general set of things. Not for all words but it would work that way for the word Dawnshard/s I think.
  22. The best trap is one the prey walks into willingly.
  23. That is correct, thus far, there are no punctuation marks. Punctuation[edit] Women's script has only one known character for punctuation. It is a single vertical line with two small, horizontal lines at the top and bottom. It is written at the beginning of a sentence and it defines the maximum character height. Questions are marked by adding “ha” at the end of the last word in the sentence. There is also a question mark present in Navani's sketch in Oathbringer on page 447, but judging by the handwriting this was added later by Nazh and is not part of the women's script. There is also a diacritic mark denoting if a letter in an otherwise symmetrical word is pronounced “h,” but it is currently unknown what this looks like,[4] only that it is present both above and below the letter. It is unknown what other punctuation exists, if any, as no other examples have been observed. https://coppermind.net/wiki/Women's_script
  24. A flip of Honor being the villain in the back half is a nice theory
  25. He's referred to as High Prince initially, so I guess not?
