There a couple of pieces to this post. The first is an apology to those sharders with whom I RP. I have been sporadic in my posting and it's unfair. I truly wish that I had the wherewithal to be consistent. Covid is still very much in my system. I recovered months and months ago and yet it lingers. I have bone crushing fatigue which hounds me. It has kept me from being as active as I want to be. 

The second thing is an apology on the off chance that people like reading my weekly poems. The second poem that I promised last week never materialized for the same reason as I stated above. I am going to push to create the poem if I can beat this exhaustion. 

The third piece is the poem for week #9 Poem 9.

                                                 Beholding Wisdom

      Everything around me slows and the whole of creation seems to be dragged into the clutches of a slumber whose chains refuse to be broken. The whole of history appears to me as a vision almost too wondrous to be understood by a mortal being. I may once have bore armor to shield me from the harms of the world, but now I receive a new protection which takes far more than it will ever give me in return. Wasted prayers fly from my lips as I entreat any and all deities who might have the mercy to take me from a damnation created by the folly of immortals whose hubris’ never drag them down into the dust. What odd sounds make up my world now. My cries are long gone. They echoed around us and formed a cloak which has faded and gone far away. Now the only things that I can hear are rustling and hissing that cast powerful curses over what might as well be all of the cosmos. It was my thirst for glory that led me here to a hall of moments that span eternity in the span that I take in a single breath. A shroud falls ever so slowly over existence as I watch what so many eyes have witnessed, but could never describe. Words fail me at this strangely melancholy moment. No fear grips me now. Most might plead and tremble, but the eyes so melancholy that I see create within me knowledge greater than any god or scholar could ever hope to possess. There is no melevolance so mighty that it might be called monstrous. Here all that exists is the wickedness and blindness of sovereigns whose right to power was the destruction of those who gave them life. As I am entombed all is known to me. In this infinite frame I too cast curses upon the earthshaker and enemy of Arachne. Though breath ceases, eternal knowledge is now mine to hold and treasure. Medusa may have taken me prisoner this day. However, she has at the same time shattered the chains that kept me from seeing and set me free.

"These are normal, those are pop-up" - Po after doing research 
"Those are cool, yours are lame papers with glue!" (paraphrased)

My character: "Hi can I play cards with you -" 
Other character: *promptly grabs my character and yeets them at the kobolds* 
DM: "do you resist this, Ene" 
Me: "no" 
*the kobold dies on impact* 

Okay now the session has devolved into incorrect quotes generator and I'm loving it. Most of these are randomly generated, with me just inputting names: 

Ene: Stick and I were crossing the street, and this dude drove by and honked at us
Truth: *sighing* What did Stick do?
Ene: He chased him to the next red light, then reached into his window and - 
Stick: Who wants a steering wheel? 

Ene: Come on, I wasn’t that drunk last night.
Stick: You were flirting with Truth.
Ene: So what? They're my partner.
Stick: You asked them if they were single. 
Ene: 
Stick: And then you cried when they said they weren't. 

Ene: If I die, my funeral is going to be the biggest party ever and you’re all invited
Star: If? 
Xino: Great, the only party I’ve ever been invited to and she might not even die. 

Tesh, in a high voice, holding barbie: hey ken! I was thinking about going back to school and starting a career!
Salad, in a deep voice, holding ken: nonsense, barbie. you’re staying home and having my kids
Knight: what the frick are you guys doing?
Tesh: playing systemic oppression

Ene: What if I press the brake and gas at the same time?
Salad: The car takes a screenshot.

Mist: I think we're missing something.
Goat: Teamwork?
Vapor: Cohesion?
Fadran: A general sense of what we’re doing?

Fadran, setting down a card: Ace of spades
Queen, pulling out an Uno card: +4
Kindness, pulling out a Pokémon card: Jolteon, I choose you
Connie, trembling: What are we playing

Safire: You know those things will kill you, right?
June, pouring another glass of whiskey: That’s the point.
Luna, smoking a cigarette: We’re trying to speed up the process.
Beram: *nods while eating raw cookie dough* 

Ene: Well, aren’t you all a rag-tag group of adventurers with unclear goals and good hearts! Oh, let me guess: you’re out to save the world!
Witless: Well, actually, that sounds like a pretty fair assessment.
Po: More or less, I guess...
Archer: That sounds awesome! Let’s do that!
Ink: I’m new here, but I am open to the concept.
Tesh: I thought that’s what we were doing, guys, come on! 

*the squad right before Ene's wedding*
Ink: Well I have to go, I have a wedding to attend.
Po: Wait... Oh! I have a wedding to attend too!
Archer: Oh, I have a wedding to attend as well
Tesh: I THINK WE ALL HAVE WEDDINGS TO ATTEND
Witless, panicked: I THINK I HAVE A WEDDING TO OFFICIATE

Maybe I should have Witless officiate my wedding... 

Fritz: What does 'take out' mean?
Stick: Food 
Ene: Dating
Truth: Murder
Hen: IT CAN MEAN ALL THREE IF YOURE NOT A COWARD. 

Adilie: Good responses for being stabbed with a knife?

Mist: WHY. why did you give Emi a KNIFE?!

Is it just me, or do we need to rename "Shardiversary"?

reasons:

1: Sharderversary is a long word

2: it doesn't make sense, the part that means year in anniversary isn't present in shardeversary

3: it is storming difficult to spell! I've put three different versions of the word and there are probably more!

What do we replace it with?

Reddit has cake days, maybe we want spike days, or something. or we could take an idea from birthday and call it a shardday.

So... this just happened:

Or, to say it in other words, I have been a member of the Shard for 2 years.

I don't know if I am supposed to have some really in-depth message or profound insights. It is tradition to do stuff like that for things like the 1,000th post, 2,000th, and so on. I was going to ping a bunch of names, but it wouldn't let me do more than 2 for some reason.

Now, I haven't been active on the Shard for all these two years. I was active for the first month, but then I stopped for almost a year. It wasn't until mid-August of 2020 that I returned to the Shard. I first fell in with "The Fellowship of the Thing". This was Fadran, Connie, Ene, Mist, Vapor, Queen, etc. I met them before they became the gods that they are now. I talked to them some and made posts in forums all over the Shard. I contributed occasionally to tFotT as Chinkoln the strange and powerful otter, but mainly I did posts dealing with cosmere theory and in-depth realmatics, stuff like that. It is more my forte, and I have spent way too much time reading all the WoB's and Coppermind pages. 

I did this for a while. During my first month, I had gained about 20 reputation. When I rejoined, I was amazed at the amount of reputation that some people had amassed during 1 week. I, in my dumbstruck amazement, PMed Karger and literally asked how I could get more rep. I was kindly told that in order to get rep I just needed to be an active, positive member of the community. I decided to do just that. I got several hundred rep with my theory posts, but it was over the course of a few months. In late December through mid-January I realized that if I wanted to get a lot of reputation, I needed something else. I started posting in the meme threads. It took some build-up, and the first few days I wasn't very good. I got some reputation, and that motivated me. I made memes when I got an idea so that I didn't forget. After some effort, I managed to win my first day! Then, to my surprise, I won my second day! And then my third day! My first three days were three consecutive days!!!! I couldn't believe how quickly my reputation titles were changing!

Well, I still post memes sometimes when I think of stuff. I have started to transition back to theories, but I have also been drawn into some forum games such as "Guess That Cosmere Character" and "Synonym Game". Well, this has been my journey on the Shard! I wish I could ping a bunch of people, and give them all special messages, but it doesn't work for me.  

I also recently discovered how to use those emoji things.

I have loved the Shard and everything on here. It is such an amazing community and has such amazing individuals. Chaos recently said that being a moderator is a thankless job. Thank you Chaos, Ene, Stink, Overlord Jebus, WeiryWriter, Paleo, Argent, FeatherWriter, Jofwu, Lady Lameness, and little wilson!!! I know that there are many other amazing staff and moderators, but there are just the ones I have seen active most recently. Thank you for everything you do!!! I love the Shard!!!

Hello peoples! Who is your Favorite Cosmere/non-Cosmere Character? Mine is probably Kaladin.

I hate argumentative essays so much.

Prompt: ”Yesterday you went and choose three photos from the school’s exhibition. Write an argumentative essay on why the three you choose are better than all the other ones.”

Me, who just choose the first three photos I saw: “Uh...I like this photo because it’s very purple. And purple is a cool color. Because it’s very....purpley.”

Anyone ever come close to going to blows with your parents and then end up hugging out with them as if we weren't about to rip each other's throats out? It is such a weird tone shift and leaves feeling... odd.

Wellllllll....... I just realized that today is my Shardiversiry. Or however you spell that word. And it's kind of late and I don't feel like writing out a super long thing about it. I just want to thank everyone (No, I'm not going to list a bunch of people -- I'm too scared I'll miss someone) on the Shard that have just been themselves (AMAZING!!!) and made my life so much better. I'm not sure where I would be without the shard, but I do know that it would be worse then where I am now. So, thank you all for a wonderful year, and I look forward to enjoy many more in the future!

I think I'm going crazy . Today in English, my teacher wrote 'I am sick at heart' on the board, and for a good minute my deluded self thought she wrote 'I am a stick at heart.' 

My brain was like: "well, that's actually not too far off.'
