    Kinda developing a Stick suspicion, but I think that’s more a next cycle thing to explore. It’s based loosely on her village reading me too easy and in general reading everyone too easy. Probably won’t be back before cycle end. Hope Tani’s village, cause you’ll misexe me if she’s not >>

    I’m surprised you went with this option as opposed to the option of me just not paying that much attention :P. I think I knew that you and JNV expressed suspicion of Tani, I definitely knew Archer had, but I guess I didn’t put that together with the thought of earning boxings. Though I dunno if I’d have kept my vote if I had noticed, since I think I value consolidation and voting true more than I do boxings. So thanks for the v read, I guess? Edit: @Luckspren you’re currently slated to die to the blackmail filter

    vote=Devotary I don’t think that spreading the vote for the sake of money is a good idea, but I guess everyone’s trying to do that, huh >> Sorry for not being around as much as usual, but I’m out of town and restricted mostly to mobile so this is what you get I don’t think there’s any reason for Tani to die, Archer said that one thing but I don’t really agree with that. I currently like Archer/JNV/Stick but I haven’t read anything close enough to comfortably read them village. Clanky and Luckspren are out of the question for me because returning/new, and that doesn’t leave a lot of people. I don’t think the vote should be overly split. An extra boxing isn’t worth that much :P.

    If you want I can pretend it was a tactical decision to arrive in the thread three hours late, therefore giving me more to quote I’m not confident it’s better than not voting, but I’ve never liked self voting at all as a general rule and this is a different case. It makes it slightly harder to follow where you’re at, and nullifies your vote for the time being. I mean, isn’t that the same as no one saying anything? Either the elims have to just blindly shoot, or they have to suffer an IKYK which is basically just blindly shooting. One of those is more fun, though… Oh, that’s definitely a student thing. I mean, I do it Need a 300 word response? Couldn’t becomes could not, in other words becomes another way to say that, etc. Works like a charm. Could you start with boxings?

    I plan to play this game like any other game, no funny vote tricks or placing it where I don’t actually want it to be or anything like that. I do agree with making sure to keep everyone updated if you do end up doing this, but I also like just checking the vote count to see where everyone’s at :P. The self voting strategy technically works but I’m not sure how much I like the idea of potentially sabotaging your own vote for the sake of keeping boxings away from someone else. I’m refusing to sus TUN for following it but I… kind of want to :P. This does read like an elim jumping on an idea that would help them but it’s you so it’s probably village No real read off of this post. I’m with Devo, definitely don’t try to do this :P. It’s the same principle iirc as the Rithmatist games, a lot of the value of any of the items comes from no one knowing you have it. I like this better, but still I don’t think it’s a good idea. Anyone who claims to have bought a Bodyguard is likely a safe kill the next turn, and I don’t want to go there. Secret mechanics, in my experience, should stay secret Generally. The one exception I can think of is that an assassin buyer might want to claim after successfully killing someone, but that also would likely be a free kill for the elims. With nine people we probably have two elims. Three seems like far too many and I really doubt xino would make an elim suffer the single life right away I think I get lots of points for that. Guess we’ll see if the code likes it. vote=Tani

    Word of appreciation for Breath of the Wild

    I’ve only done Van Ruta but I’ve seen enough so far to know how awesome of a game this is.

    (Also, Lagoon [amusement park, not a pond] is freaking epic :D)

      Breath of the wild is a beautiful game. It's incredible how much is packed into such a breathtaking world.

      Also, cannibal is awesome! The other rides are good but I think that one is on a different level :D

      Lagoon is so fun. Just went for the first time a month ago and discovered that I am actually not terrified of roller coasters!

      Also, that many people--even pre 'Rona--is a big ol Nope for me. But I'm glad you enjoyed it!

    Mat was still bothered by what had happened with Napollo. The actual fighting hadn’t been as bad as he’d been expecting, but when the time came to deliver the final blow, well… he’d hesitated. Napollo hadn’t. That was the Hunger Games. What am I doing here? Stay low. Wait and survive. Get out. His plan had worked thus far, and now only six others stood in between him and victory. If it came down to him and one other, would he hesitate again? He hoped so. But he also hoped he’d choose to do it anyway. The anticipation of that made him sick to his stomach, either way. Changing his thoughts, Mat recalled that the Feast was today. Perhaps it was foolhardy to go when he’s just reaffirmed his plan, but berries were getting old. Sighing, Mat changed course and headed for the Cornucopia.

    So I read the Cryptic doc (the fonts are amazing, by the way) and I still don’t understand what happened with me xD Seeing my name that many times cracked me up though :P.

    I thought this game was really fun and interesting— the factions weren’t really anonymous at all but I thought that was fine. Deadeye PMs are really fun! A clearer set of restraints could potentially be helpful but I think they worked. The Defectors seemed like an awesome mechanic as well and I’d be really interested to see how this game works on a larger scale. I didn’t notice any glaring problems. I will say though that the elims getting to choose who wins, while losing themselves, probably isn’t an ideal outcome. I know as elim I wouldn’t want that responsibility :P. I don’t know how that would be fixed, though. @Devotary of Spontaneity, thanks for running it!

    Archer, as another option for other people to bite on. I'm conflicted between xino/Archer and am kind of sheeping Kas' read (though I'm actually voting from it, whereas he is still undecided) but we thought it was weird that he cited his primary objective as exeing someone in the other doc, but voted me and Hoid first.

    I know in my doc there was a lot of discussion about potential distributions, and one of the favorite ones was two elims in one doc, a defector in the other. That distro still gives 3 villagers in each faction, but in a more interesting way than a 1-1 elim split would. That potentially is helpful if we think that's what's happening, but I also can't tell what faction Hoid is in despite that I definitely should be able to with the information given. The only thing I remember about xino is that I read his single post as village but I only read it one time. I find it interesting that he was so willing to vote within his faction though.

    Protector can't self protect as well as not being able to hit the same target twice, but yes :P. I'll vote tomorrow, which is a deliberate choice knowing that I'll be gone until ~2 hours remaining. I want to reread (which, let's be honest, probably won't do much good) but more than that I want to see other votes first.

    While my read likely stems from me always just reading you village early on, I think that pointing this out is a village move and would rather not kill you for being saved. We can cross that bridge if we come to it but doing so now feels premature. I may always read you village early on, but I'm perfectly happy doing so :P. Assuming you were protected and therefore village, and assuming that Hoid is village (which feels alright since he apparently just followed TUN), I'm left with... less than I thought I would have when I started typing this sentence. My PoE would be [Wizard/xino/Bookworm/Archer] which is more than half the remaining players. Idk which of those would attack Kas but maybe I shouldn't be clearing Kas so definitively.
