If I’m right, hopefully the politician changes that If the Politician’s elim I think this cycle was always a loss If you’re elim then congrats for fooling me but also you’re currently up for the exe @JNV @ash's_eyes why are you voting Emu? What’s the reasoning there? Striker is a much better choice, there’s actual evidence against him. Can you supply as good of evidence against Emu? I’ll wait. Striker’s votes have been random and reasonless the whole game, best illustrated by going after Liranil and then Emu for no reason with no prior indication before hand. Edit: wait just saw Emu’s action result. Which was different than Striker’s. Either one of them is lying or the skyeels actually targeted Bort. One of those is more likely, imo -

You weren’t hesitant yesterday. Or earlier today. And you agreed that the other FE was likely elim. Why did Striker claiming convince you otherwise? What changed? -
Stick, Jeral stands corrected My read of Steel is NAI, as I’ve mentioned. I would say evil only because I disagree with people v reading him but that’s not how reads work so just NAI My read of TUN is less that what they did is villagery by itself and more that it fits with their v meta, imo

@EmulatonStromenkiin you should definitely vote Striker here if you want to live Striker/JNV definitely e/e Or I’m just completely wrong about this game -
I could probably get behind an Alvron exe. What he said about TUN possibly bringing up the roleless isn't really common for elims to do, and never has been as far as I'm aware (extrapolating on what I mean by that a bit- I don't think it's normal for elims to deliberately lie about things to intentionally fish for information, and I also don't think it's normal for elims to fake a derp clear. Those two things aren't exactly the same, but are kind of similar, and in my experience haven't been used all that much. Which isn't to say they wouldn't be effective strategies, just that they're ignored ones). Elims usually just try to play as they would as a villager, and don't spend a lot of time intentionally trying to make themselves look village. I could be wrong about that particular bit of meta, but as a result it makes me side-eye anyone who tries to push that kind of reasoning on someone else's posts, as it's an easy thing to claim that you think they're doing. It's interesting to me that Alv only mentioned that point ('that point' referring to Alv mentioning that he thought TUN was fishing for info by claiming roleless) after affirming that he could use meta to read TUN, since my v read of TUN for their exact post comes from meta knowledge- I think them claiming roleless in that way fits with their v!meta On the other hand, that shows actual progression on Alv's part since he could have just voted TUN upfront so /shrug

Jeral bit his lip nervously, and a bit harder than he intended to. Under the eyes of his opponents, he refused to wince, which was easy. The drops of blood that sprang from the self-inflicted cut tasted like sweet motivation rather than pain. He tossed some dice, though they weren't his own. Those, unfortunately, had been confiscated. Again. Roll, roll, roll. A two and a three. Rusts. If he wanted that golden Stick he was going to have to do better than that. That's a real vote. I don't like how Stick mentioned the village's 'unlikelihood of success', so to speak, since in the recent history that has proven to be false, and I also don't agree with the village read on Steel.

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel
Mat replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Also, how was your action result worded? (Talking to Emu) Don’t quote it exactly, obviously. I ask because my experience with TUN’s games is that action results come back as a failure if the person you targeted didn’t actually do anything, and so I would expect a FE who targeted someone who wasn’t visited by skyeels to have ‘failed’ their action for that reason. This isn’t a GM clarification question, to be clear. Just a theory that Striker might not even be a FE :P. -
@Alvron, TUN is indeed TUO, who changed their name to TUA, then to TUN. Good to have you back for a game!

I’d hate to role exe as much as the next guy, but I also thought we agreed that there was likely 2-1 v/e field exterminators :P. That + me trusting you much more than Striker + Striker not understanding how his own role works, apparently, makes me feel even better about this exe Also @The Unknown Novel I’d try to stay out of the thread as much as possible, you have the most posts out of anyone in the thread and that shouldn’t be the case. If someone specifically pings you that’s when I’d make rule clarifications, but only then. -
Hey look I agree with Striker for once xD

People always say that we are more likely to hit a villager C1 but I swear in the last 10-15 games an elim has died C1 more often than a villager has. Or at least been awfully close to dying. Now I want to go back and check to see if elims say that more often than villagers :P. Steel just finding the rules doc right now is NAI, I think.

Smh Archer apparently thinks e!me would blatantly try to shut down discussion Why do that when you can steer it yourself It was much more the second thing, and mostly in response to TUN talking about filling- I don't see how info like that helps anyone except the elims. I don't particularly care whether or not someone else is going for the action that I want to go for, or exactly what the other roles in play are. Both pieces of information are useful, but more so for the elims imo. Then again, I tend to do my own thing with roles and actions, so maybe I care less than the average player. But I'd rather talk about something other than roles :P.

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel

Striker should probably die today. Politician, if you’re village, it’s be nice if you let his flip go through :P. I am leaning v!Politician right now, it’s hard to justify an elim one. I absolutely am going to examine worlds where Striker is village, and who the team would be in that case, it’s be nice either way if the train wasn’t a runaway one today. -
I think fills and fill strategy shouldn’t be a point of discussion at all, if we care about anonymity, though I like Archer’s idea of not quoting as a general rule. I think I still work for that? Maybe not, I tend to quote more often than not, but I’ve only opened this game on mobile so there’s a chance. Maybe I’m just doing the no fill -> Double fill strat :P. My gut says TUN is village. Unsure about Araris, but if he found an actual point about Steel then that makes Jeral happy.

I like Stick’s TUN read. I don’t necessarily agree with it, but I like it. Tbh I feel something similar about Elan asking caution; that’s definitely something a villager says but I gut read it as elim anyway :P.

Ooh Matrix’s Dice is a new one. Kinda like that. But you know just as well as I that your accusation is much more unfounded than mine, because mine doesn’t have a foundation and yours has a faulty one :P. And you can thank the color menu to a thread from a few weeks ago, and Chaos.

The gold hilted cane-sword that often hung in the window glinted in the sun. It always glinted in the sun. Mocking him. Tantalizingly close, at least until he looked at the price tag. Jeral growled, subconsciously rolling his pair of weighted dice around in his hand. He hobbled to the nearest tavern. Today was the day he made a fortune. * * * *Rolls random number generator* Steel

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel
Mat replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Looks like that wasn’t my last post for the cycle, cool. I did check with TUN and the thread is still open. If memory serves, it was Gnorjfksjfnoeoejskfofjrndindon. Or Gneorndin. One of those. I don’t know that anyone would try to clear themselves by intentionally pretending not to know the rules. Is that something that’s been done before? I like the idea of Liranil/ash’s eyes being e/e. I’ll stay on Striker though, I could pick apart his explanation of his votes and explain why he didn’t actually do what he said he did, but that’d get tiresome so I won’t :P. I don’t want to commit to e!Liranil if Striker flips village, that feels like too quick of an assumption to make. The trains sprung up mostly side-by-side and there hasn’t been a lot of resistance to either, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was v/v. Hopefully I can spend some time later deciding who the team is if they are v/v.
