I'm on mobile literally 99% of the time when I'm on the Shard, so whenever I'm on my laptop I'm like "you guys have member titles? You have signatures??" and it's like a whole new world has been revealed.

(I kid you not this is what I spend most of Monday pondering. Turns out it involves lots of trucks and bowing. Also heavy labor. I’m not even sure it’ll make the book, kinda hard to stick in depth descriptions of economical labor distribution into a novella length piece

Wondering for the 1000th time why I called myself The Awakened Salad. Not because I don’t like my username — I can’t imagine being called anything other than Salad at this point — I just have no idea where it came from. It confuddles me. Why am I awakened? Why am I a salad? I have no idea what my brain was doing when it came up with my name

I don’t know if anyone’s interested, but I’m taking a break from the Shard. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, but I’ve deemed it necessary. I plan to return, but I can’t say when.
While I won’t go into the details of why, know that it’s not because of the community. You guys were actually the strongest point against me leaving, because I didn’t want to say goodbye. But, unfortunately, the other reasons outweigh this one.
So this is farewell, but hopefully not forever. This place, and all of the memories I’ve made, the people I’ve met, will stay in my thoughts.
Hope to see you again soon.

Sometimes I go down this rabbit hole of looking at old inactive accounts and I find myself feeling sad, which is weird, right? I’ve never spoken to these people before, never seen their posts, and they have no idea who I am. Still, looking at the piles of status updates, there’s this odd feeling of loss, and I can’t shake it. I wish I had the chance to know them, but I know that it probably won’t ever happen.

It’s not so much that it’s interfering with my daily life, it’s that whenever I anticipate me not being able to get on the Shard that much, I somehow manage to make time for it anyway... That being said, I have been posting less.

10/10 advice, except I probably won’t follow it because no matter how many times people tell me that I never listen for some reason. Which is bad. But I can’t stop doing it.

Just clarifying, I’m sorry if it sounded like I just brushed off your advice. I didn’t and I didn’t mean for it to come across that way if it did. I’m just really bad at liking my writing. It was still good to hear, and I probably need someone to shout it into a megaphone that’s right next to my ear to make it sink in.
Am I overthinking this? I don’t even know at this point.
