Welcome to the Shard, @NONOGAMESTER! Could you repeat the phrase, "my life to yours, my breath become yours"?
-
Do you think the Heralds had plate
Honorless replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Neither Jezrien nor Kalak had plates when we saw them in the Prelude, so I don't think the Heralds had plates. I have wondered if Plates might have more to do with the Nahel Bond than with the system of Surgebinding. -
But is that their Allomantic ability? As in, is that what their effect would be if an Allomancer were to burn it (aside from possibly exploding: see cesium comments by Brandon) This looks like it's describing the Allomantic grenades we saw in era 2

Hmm, order it online or go for an ebook, I don't trust libraries to deliver on their word unless the book is for a project

Welcome to the Shard, @•Khriss•! So, Edgedancers are your favourite Order? If you had to choose one Allomantic power, what would you choose?

Welcome to the Shard, @Knight of Iron! Be careful on the forums till you finish Mistborn!

A Shard Vessel losing their mind is very much a possibility but I don't think that Passion is a Shard, Ruin also mentioned passion and it might be something else

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: Humanform! Seriously though, I started thinking that it could've been a Lightweaving? Maybe like the more solid illusions that Shallan created in Thaylen City? Roshar isn't out of the running yet

Agreed, that's basically what this theory is built on.

I'd use the name Odiumblade and/or Voidblade as direct hypothetical counterparts to Honorblade or Shardblade. A counterpart to the latter might exist via Voidbinding

The origin of life on Earth was a very complicated affair, it required very improbable events to occur. Some kind of alien life may pop out with this scenario, we just don't know. Ignoring the astrophysical ramifications of having a satellite the same size as the planet (which would make them both planets), the main issue here would be the weather. Distribution of sunlight is an enormous factor governing temperature, currents, wind speed, atmospheric composition. Tidal forces are vital in governing oceanic currents which in turn forms the foundation of life here on Earth. There should be many good articles and videos on the scenario which could explain the mechanisms better than me

That is a beautiful thing to do, checked out your profile too, you had the same as background Oh, and nice Ookla season getup choice!

I'll just come out and be blunt here: your signature worries me, are you alright?
-
Life, as we know it, wouldn't exist
-
And would you consider a person brought back in this manner the same person as before?
-
the amount of Investiture, which would "stretch your soul" is more important
-
Odiumblade isn't a confirmed thing. The dagger used to kill Jezrien had a sapphire that was presumably used up, it seems it was utilizing Realmatic mechanics behind the associated gemstones.

Did Aimians fight in the Desolations?
Honorless replied to Higgs-Boson Spren's topic in Stormlight Archive
We don't actually know if what Lift encountered were all of Arclo's hordelings... -
@The traveller, I think you meant Scadrial not Roshar. @PrinceGenocide Shards reside primarily in the Spiritual Realm where all of time-space is one. They are technically infinite, but their Vessels aren't. Ruin exists as entropy everywhere, including Nightblood, but Ruin himself is held by a limited mind. To a Shard, residing in a Shardworld means that the world becomes a nexus for their power. It was probably more or less the same for Adonalsium, his Investiture permeated everything, but the majority of his presence was on Yolen.

Nope, just that they died choking. We can only assume that they checked for all lifesigns

Guess That Cosmere Character! Forum Edition!

Tuft? -
Hmm... I don't recall any mention of them having a heartbeat but they do have blood so they should also have a biologically functioning heart and not just a Gemheart.
