  1. Hello @Whismy, it's good to formally meet you ! Starting from The Stormlight Archives? That must've been a ride, my entry point into the Cosmere was Mistborn. Congratulations on posting your first topic! But I should point out that's not quite how one is supposed to use a spoiler tag. The spoilers, that is, the content should be in the spoiler tag, not the name of the book it is spoiling.
  2. That sounds like a very dangerous Command... But can Endowment's system really be utilized without giving Breath? Seems strange... it did consume colour though. I wonder if Vasher asking permission might've been Realmatically significant here
  3. I believe the same about Adonalsium's nature Adonalsium being the Cosmere is only metaphorically true, imo. Though all Investiture did belong to him, so it's also sort of technically true?
  4. They did hide two entire Aethers... makes sense Finally, did you like the main characters: Raeth and D'na? (I think you too probably liked Darro)
  5. Nope and nope 5) This character can be called a good listener but refused to listen at a pivotal juncture
  6. Oh editing a Topic is the same as editing a Post
  7. That makes sense, I was only thinking in terms of available shards, not the mechanics behind the ancient Radiants getting shards, oops
  8. @Ixthos, this is great! You should check out Mother of Learning by Domagoj Kurmaic under the pseudonym nobody103, I think you'll love it. It's a freely available serialised web novel that is going to have its finale this month. Edit: don't let the first two chapters fool you, it's really good!
  9. It could be a major plot point... Next Mistborn sequence is supposed to be spy thriller as Brandon said he's moving away from the SWAT thriller Edit: @Dancer, you misspelled 'Hemalurgic'
  10. 4. This character is Invested, but that's not the main source of their strength
  11. Do we know that definitively? It could simply have been due to the plot that we met more Shardblade wielders than Shardplate wielders at first, we do meet Hrdalm and Tshadr in OB
  12. But more seriously, both Kaladin, Kelsier and Elend are dying, you can save only one, which one? Ym, Tien and Eshonai which one would you bring back? You have to kill a Cosmere PoV protagonist, whom do you kill? Dilaf or Sadeas, kill one save the other, whom do you save and whom do you sacrifice?
  13. Well, task successfully completed, I've asked you anything
  14. @AonEne, anything?
  15. Indeed that is quite the conundrum... But of course, you being truthless, can any of your statements be trusted? How do we know what you spout aren't lies?
  16. Nope! 3) We do get this character's viewpoint
  17. iirc, the Mists are more of Preservation or more of Ruin not, completely different. They were described as grey rather than the white Mists of era 1. And those characteristics I mentioned were inherent to the Mists themselves, they have not been described as having separate effects (possibly so far) I did notice that interpretation though, and thought it would be interesting to point it out to you. But yeah, I'm still in the camp of Harmonium distillation being a possibility
  18. Good guess! I was wondering when someone will guess Ham but nope, it's not Ham
  19. Oh, I thought he was talking about Harmonium, thanks for the clarification, @Quantus. The Mists are of Harmony now, I don't see why you couldn't distill Harmonium from them. They have changed. They no longer pull away from Hemalurgy and are capable of powering both Allomancy and Feruchemy as per Alloy of Law annotations (emphasis mine)
  20. On my honor, I insist ( ◕‿◕✿)
  21. Ah my bad, @The traveller, the OP did mention Allomancy though, so it was on my mind a bit more than spikes or metalminds, sorry They are still metals, Investiture not withstanding, their physical nature is not altered, metal while being burned is still metal until it is fully burned, spikes and metalminds are also metals, they do carry Investiture charge but that doesn't change their physical makeup. I don't think Copperclouds or Aluminium would help either, since mundane methods are being used which aren't dependant on Investiture.
  22. They aren't Invested. They just act as the keys to Preservation's power unlocked by the Allomancer's sDNA
