  1. Probably Lightweavers, they've got offence, defense and supplies handled with one Surge, infiltration and get-away with another
  2. Kaladin - He is the epitome of a protector
  3. The Pits of Hathsin
  4. I don't know how reliable a source Lady Sauvage is, probably better than Allomancer Jak but then again she does associate with him. The Monks of Baz-Kor might be made-up or a deflection or an exaggeration,... Her account of her encounter with Nazh does make her seem more trustworthy, in which case I'm much more interested in the pool she mentioned. As for Harmony's team B: why not simply his own agents, the Kandra, Kelsier and Marsh. Harmony's other choices might not even have been seen on-screen.
  5. The Book of Endless Pages was analogous to the Ideals of the Lightweaver Order of the Knights Radiant, focusing on individual growth rather than any unified code. Brandon joked that the name wasn't a very good idea for what was sure to be a very lengthy book in a lengthy series full of lengthy books.
  6. Yeah, that's a popular theory
  7. Agreed with @Aluminum, it was just a reference to the harlequins/bodice rippers
  8. Happy Birthday!

    Perspective

Vasher and Siri were interesting at first and Lightsong wasn't too bad either, while Vivenna was very annoying, but then later she became the indisputable showstealer for me.
  10. Welcome to the Shard! Glad to have you with us oh and beware of spoilers
  11. Arclo told Lift that the Ancient Radiants counted them among their allies. And the spren discovered the Nahel Bond after observing the Honorblades, granting it to men. Until further info comes down the road, I believe that the Sleepless not being counted among the ranks of the Knights Radiant is more likely correct. They might've had access to Surgebinding via other methods though, like @KandraAllomancer said or maybe even different spren bonds if they're native to Roshar, same goes for their "cousins", the Siah Aimians.
  12. That's a good one, I really shouldn't have forgotten Yog-Sothoth, he's used so often, right down to Elder Scrolls as everyone's second fav Daedric Prince. Especially with the Mother of a Thousand Young being mentioned right on this page... Ba-Ado-Mishram though, I don't see the connection with the mythos. Oh no... not Nyarlathotep! Edit: some other threads discussing the same:
  13. Well then, marry Hrathen & snog Raoden
  14. What's there to think about? It's easy, snog Hrathen, marry Raoden, avoid Sarene
  15. One does not simply say that and leave! Now we need answers!
  16. Saw your video on Allomancy. Augur comes from the word augury: Roman practice of divining the will of the gods by studying the flight of birds. Their version of the Greek Oracles.

Yep, while also connected to Aurum, the latin root word for gold. Totally missed that one. Thanks!

I just really wanted to make the Miles joke.

  17. Maybe someone similarly big name? Arthur Conan Doyle?
  18. @Ookla the Ingeniator, so you're saying that draining colour from someone's eyes would require an unspecified amount of skill and/or power but should be possible. And the dull grey color left behind after an Awakening is a specific hue so draining color from smokestone should be possible. Did I get that right?
  19. Happy Birthday!
