There's a possibility that the Southern Scadrial's language ties back all the way to the Classical era. I mean, Germanic style names at least have survived in Northern Scadrial in the Final Empire, specifically in the Northern Dominance

Plus Kal has Sigzil for this and scribes have joined the Bridge 4 as of OB. And well, Kal himself has changed, I doubt he'll let himself be forced into any political marriages. Dalinar might not be in a position to order people to do so and I'll be very disappointed if he tries to abuse his position and respect. Jasnah wouldn't either, she's chosen the same for herself, she wouldn't impose this kind of decision on anyone. I don't see Navani doing this either. Kaladin wouldn't seek out a political match himself either. I don't think Kaladin is under any pressure to marry, he has bigger priorities right now. The political landscape of Alethkar is fractured and the social stratification with lighteyes and darkeyes is another consideration, Kaladin's past is openly known.

I absolutely adore Kaladin but his chapters can be quite intense. Shallan's chapters, especially in WoK were very refreshing. My favourite PoVs though were the interlude characters: every single one of them were so interesting: Ishikk, Rysn, Axies, Ym (sniffles, salutes), Kaza (salutes), Ellista, Geranid (and her companion Ashir), Baxil (but really Ax and Ash), Sheler (so cathartic! Plus the General and the Hog).

She seems like she has a different journey ahead but yeah, it's possible. Most speculate she'll be a Willshaper. Same person, she's appeared in the interludes of all three books: in Shinovar, in the Reshi Isles and in Thaylenah. Her ship was christened (Almightened?) Wandersail.

Pluck out someone'e eyeballs and give them the Command, "Be as my eyes and show me things". This would require further fine-tuning during visualization and quite a bit of Breath to forge a connection between my eyes and... my new eyes.

Will we get another Rysn interlude? Would we continue to get Rysn interludes after Wandersail, if the novella is written separately?
