  1. Honestly, I want Odium to be Shattered but the conflict to go on without him. Maybe Rayse's Cognitive Shadow will get bound to Braize and he'll go through what he himself put the Heralds through.
  2. Hello! Welcome to the Shard!

  3. Actually Way of Kings is still my favourite
  4. Brandon calls them conflux novels
  5. Hello @pinkfluffyalex! Welcome to the Shard!

  6. Nah, Puuli's lighthouse
  7. The Lighthouse Defiance
  8. Aren't you contradicting yourself here?
  9. Awesome! Question barrage: fav character, magic system, Shardworld, Radiant Order, Allomantic power, Feruchemical power, Shard
  10. Granted, a friendly sentient weapon. It's a sword that does not cut but rather heal and it cannot ever be separated from its bearer without the bearer's death or permission. A tap with the pommel and even life-threatening diseases and injuries get healed in the blink of an eye. But one day the sword would stop healing and need to replenish itself. And you will be filled with the need to kill to refill its reserves. You cannot just let go of the sword. By the way, the sword replenishes itself by storing the years of a person killed by its blade. Kill a few children or kill many adults, your choice. I wish for a cornucopia (a real one, with the ability to spew forth an infinite buffet of all kinds of dishes)
  11. Good to officially meet you, @Zefandrius! Hope to see you around on the forums!
  12. I haven't written anything other than fanfiction or in response to prompts and such for a while now. It'll be some time before I post anything more substantial. I'll look forwards to yours though, @Sarah B
  13. Agreed with @KandraAllomancer. The sun that appears in the Cognitive seems to be consistent in its description within multiple Shardworlds. For me, that description hearkens back to Khriss' analogy for the Three Realms with the Spiritual Realm as the "light source". That's what I think the sun seen in the Cognitive Realm is
  14. Told you so Sorry... couldn't resist
  15. Which is called the Trust, right? Or was that just the vault?
  16. How come there are so many yellow eyes? Isn't that the Bondsmiths'? Good god, Melishi! Hmm, I would say that we haven't seen such domination of a certain eye colour in an area, aside from in general, in Alethkar and bordering it Vedenar and Thaylenah and Kharbranth. Alethkar was the centre for Windrunners, possibly also other Radiant Orders and the nation which headquartered the more martially inclined of Roshar's populace pre-Recreance. That is why the Vorin lighteyes darkeyes system is only viable in the east, the west probably had fewer Radiants. Yes, they have blues, yellows, greens, violets, clear silver eyes from the Edgedancers are another missing colour though.
  17. We've seen Nightblood and Vivenna's sword bleach a person's colour but of course, that is debatable as evidence for this topic. I think an Awakener can do this, needing both skill with Commands and being at least of the 6th Heightening, perhaps. I wasn't thinking of turning a person lighteyes but wouldn't a person with clear grey eyes be considered a lighteyes on Roshar? I was thinking if a powerful Awakener might be able to drain a Rosharan lighteyes' eye colour from their blues and yellows and violets to grey.
  18. Granted, your heart is transformed into a rock but somehow still functioning via Investiture. It is slowly eroding but keeps getting renewed in the Highstorm, replenishing itself with absorbed Stormlight and ingested crem. You are in constant discomfort due to your heart of stone. You may destroy it if you genuinely wish for release from the pain of your existence. I wish for a Feruchemical powers without Hemalurgy
  19. Even with the new website the progress bars are not visible on mobiles... Ooh 85%! But it's the rough draft, so will we get SA 4 next year or not?
  20. Hello there! Welcome to the Shard, @Sarah B! Glad to have you with us!
