Theory: Truthwatchers swear no oaths beyond the First Ideal...
Karger replied to robardin's topic in Stormlight Archive
Dustbringers, Willshapers, Stonewards(we kind of have a second but not really), and Elsecallers. -
Yes.

That is the working theory. We don't actually know what is going on with unsealed metalminds though so it would not surprise me if something existed that could stop this.

Wandersail is part of Tier one of the kickstarter making it 10$ for the ebook but I don't think we have any information about when or where a physical printing will be made.

Theory: Truthwatchers swear no oaths beyond the First Ideal...

I like the idea but that does not seem to fit the ethos of the order. Aren't they about observable results? -
That is what I assume.

Navani is a very warm person and Jasnah is not. That is the source of some personal tension and aggravation. However they do have a great relationship. She is a celebrity. She understands that as a pariah her ability to project her power socially and politically is enhanced markedly by her ability to present herself well. I am heterosexual and dress like a total slob because I don't care about projecting social or political power.

I refuse to apologies. This is an intriguing discussion. He still should. It would allow him a kind of cheat mode when necessary(like in his fighting Denth situation). Maybe he acts a lot more like a normal shardblade when not being fed? He withers bodies but does not completely destroy them.

Right but why would it bother draining if it did not need to? Also considering Vasher knows about this why would he not get some kind of aluminum glove that lets him use the blade safely?

I guess but I don't really see how that demonstrates your point. Humans are equally capable of "modifying" a CS and if they were as good at it as you seem to think then MB spoilers

I guess it is just supposition but why would he absorb investiture that he does not need? It is not part of his intent.

We don't know the order in which Adonalsium created the planets.

Welcome to the shard and considering that they are actually merging souls I am going to say no. They are both still forms of intimacy I just personally would not compare them.

It seems like one of those things that crops up in popular culture around religion that actual theologians know to be false. For example the association of the fruit of knowledge in the garden of eden with an apple. It just says fruit in the actual text and given where in the world we are talking about apple does not really make much sense but people still say apple.

This I see as plausible. Gavilar met with several people. We were never told that he met with them all at the same time. In fact he met with Eshonai privately and given that he was engaging in a conspiracy I do not think it would have been smart of him to let everyone in on everything. Amaram was useful but also pretty foolish. Gavilar was a master of men. I do not think that he would have deluded himself when it comes to taking the measure of his subordinates.

Rosharans already know relmatic theory. Jasnah mentions the theory of the three realms, at Gavilar's funeral the ardents talk about it, and Lirin states that "the almighty calls all men back to the spiritual realm eventually." Also if looking into the SR Dalinar could easily come up with some fundamental truths about the universe.

Kind of. He was the guy who found inspiration and because of that achieved a degree of "enlightenment." Again they probably see him as a sapient force.

I don't think survivorists see Kelseir as a deific figure so much as a paragon in some ways. They don't really have monotheism even as a concept on scadrial. Being respectful to the agent of an acknowledged omnipotent being makes sense.

Impressive work. -
It is certainly possible or perhaps someone close to him does and mentioned the quote.
