  1. That is possible although most sharders I have met think otherwise. This WoB is also relevant.
  2. ^^The windrunner just hits terminal velocity and stops accelerating. That would probably be around 100 miles an hour(incidentally that is almost how fast Kaladin falls when going back to harthstone).^^
  3. Awakening just bones is impractical but no one on Nalthis to the best of our knowledge has tried removing/replacing them. With the right command you could probably get it to work around the bones without expending aditional breath.
  4. You could forge some additional skill into the lifeless for more utility or better condition. In fact I would not be surprised if era four involves lifeless armies downloading skills via machine made soulstamps(that sounds terrifying). Also do something with the bones. Turn them to something more flexible with soulcasting? In fact if you animate the lifeless and then just turn the bones to steal you could probably bypass a lot of the rules about animated inorganic material.
  5. You can read Navani's prologue. It sheds some light on what they are. I do think we will see some void fabrails in the future but as Navani noted those require metal parts so I don't think the spheres could be hers. Well the advent did prompt the radiant spren and surgebinding to return. So my theory here makes some sense. I think in general the GB want the conflict to go on for as long as possible selling information and services to both sides. They have a presence in the tower meaning they can sell intel to Odium(especially if they can get Shallan to help them inadvertently or not), they have research that they can sell to the radiant coalition(they know at least a bit about Taravangian and quite a bit about the unmade). They can also sell information to factions inside the tower itself. Azir and Tashiki intelligence officers and various political players in the Vorin kingdoms will probably deal with them for information on the other dealers. As long as the conflict continues without getting quite apocalyptic enough to completely destroy one or both sides the GB stand to gain.
  6. Welcome to the shard!
  7. The number is not canonized but Indicates that he had more then just two(I have never known several to mean two and Navani says the same in her prologue when she sees them so Brandon is not being sneaky here). I am afraid that while looking I also found this... Thanks. I don't really drink but the sentiment is appreciated.
  8. You are correct. There is a WoB on it...
  9. There were more then two. Pretty sure that that is a different unmade. It effects everyone not just him and Rosharans don't know about aluminum.
  10. Wandersail is an old story but Hoid never told Fleet's story before.
  11. Welcome!
  12. Time travel is the obvious one. Super speed without aging is another and it really bugs me. Flash + Superman just become an expert on everything. You have the time. Then when Lex shows up you know more then he does about what he is trying to do and why. Also badly defined magic, and badly written geniuses.
  13. I think the stories are going to remain like the afterlife. They could be allegorical or real and we won't know. Also The deeper themes of Fleet's story are things that everyone knows. I am not sure that Hoid means that everyone actually knows about Fleet. As to what Kaladin needs to learn. He has not got to the end of the story. Fleet wins by loosing. When Kaladin looses he locks up. Maybe a lesson is there? It is possible to make things better even if they are also getting worse.
  14. He is not. The fused gather spren and give them to the parshe so that they have to take the form they are assigned to. If he needs warform soldiers he gets some angerspren. If he needs additional porters he makes workforms. This mandate by the fused and ultimately Odium of what you do and who you are was one of the major things that caused the listeners to leave.
  15. You absolutely can. Offering chances of surrender, target supplies so that they can't fight back effectively, taking diplomatic options before attacking, making sure your own attacks are proportional so that he don't continue the cycle of voilence. Instead he did not save anyone. Making a choice was far more important then making what might have been the right choice.
  16. Given the virus I am not sure he will be touring at all.
  17. Welcome!
  18. Lalex's eyes widened. A cat summoned after the quieting of the winds? The prophesy! "You will suffer a great defeat after this cat appears it warned." Snatching up his fallen companion Lalex left the arena forfeiting the match!
  19. Feeling the winds buffet him Lalex mouthed the general fourth level coutnerspell. The winds died. He launched the stick from his hand directly back at the one who had caused the chaos. Calling in the silence "WE ARE THE STICK!"
  20. Seeing Dr Gears prepared to fall so soon Lalex intervened. Swinging his might weapon up he paired in sixth position with the stick feeling the jolt go up his arm.
  21. Lalex drew a single stick from his cloak. "This shall prove more then enough for either of you," he declared!
