  1. Scadrial's CR is still inverted. The ground was made of mist. Our PoV character in the story could walk on it because they were dead. (Can't remember which forum I'm on lol) If you recall Hoid had to use a "boat".
  2. Which is what Wax experienced with the coin I do believe.
  3. (Yes, this is a Necro. I always meant to come back to this thread, but got so busy in August that I never made it:-)) I've come into agreement that there's probably some form of compounding going on with the Bands. I don't think we have all the info on nicrosil yet, but there is probably some funkiness going on there. Now, I still think that Kelsier is far more powerful now than he was during era one. I would like to discuss what people think is the possibility of him having gained feruchemy. And how powerful could he be? Twice as powerful as Elend?
  4. Jasnah is clearly wrong because there's a WoB that implies Lightweavers might be able to travel physically into the CR using their surges. Even if text didn't trump WoB that's a bold statement.
  5. Remains to be seen.
  6. It is Rock's now, I believe.
  7. I usually read the books first and then reread them via audio book while trying to fall asleep. It's very relaxing:-)
  8. Audio is pretty good. Narrators are on point. It can be a little jarring with different voices for the same characters, but once you're used to it, it's a really cool way to "read" the books!
  9. My first thought was KANDRA! But on further thought, the idea of a shard or even a powerful Mistborn bring able to control me is... Unappealing. So Singers I guess. I would be stuck on Roshar (what with needing spren) but that could be okay. Aimians could be cool. Either version. I don't know enough about them yet to say for sure though.
  10. Keepers of Woe A book about what the Aimians are hiding?
  11. Both Scadrial and Roshar are in a cycle of destruction.
  12. RAFO:-) Also be carful of this site. Spoilers abound. (The people are the best though!)
  13. My favorite is Dalinar. I actually like all the SA characters... I can't think of one I don't like. Dalinar is the best though.
  14. Lol. I was thinking it sounded like a marriage counselor:-)
  15. I believe the Radiant squires and their Radiant have a bond like this. So maybe Spiritual adhesion could be used to make a bond? Perhaps a Bondsmith could bind two people together.
  16. If you lose an arm to a shardblade, does it make your arm useless for Hemalurgy? Since shardblades cut the soul does it remove the bind points? Granted most bind points seem to be in crucial locations such as the torso. But what about the ones in none lethal areas? How would a shardblade effect them?
  17. The general theory is that she'll become a Dustbringer by her book or during her book.
  18. I always thought it was the Spiritual Realm.
  19. I picked Edgedancer as they're the closest to my heart. I can often be found quietly listening to others' problems. People I don't even know will sometimes start pouring out their life stories and deepest secrets, fears, hopes and dreams. It's weird. It can be a little overwhelming at times. I wouldn't have it any other way. (The surges are cool too!)
  20. On the other hand.... Lottery spells
  21. Which..... Brings us back to Jasnah or Venli
  22. "I will protect myself even if it means I can't save others"?!? I'm not sure how I would feel about that.
  23. I thought she was on her third oath by the time of WoR. The first oath is the same for all. Her second oath was that she was afraid. Third being she killed her father. Fourth being she killed her mother.
  24. I would like to see Kaladin take the lead over the Radiants. Not that I don't like Dalinar. Far from it. He's my favorite! I just think it would be cool if Kaladin and him "fall out" and Kaladin takes lead with Dalinar as an advisor. Which would fit with the Windrunner's leading aspect and the Bondsmith's guiding aspect. Lift does have some depth to her. I agree she's very immature. I tend to skim her chapters in rereads. I feel like she gets too much credit at times, but I also love her.
