  1. Right, I forget that Nightblood won't go with Fused-Dalinar to Braize He didn't beat Ishar.
  2. No, but we've turned multiple versus threads into several pages long disputes if F-iron makes you punch harder or not. Probably in most "Wax vs ..." or "Fullborn vs ..." threads
  3. Use Breaths as use them to fuel his Aethers? Yes, but those Breaths would be lost. As if use heightenings effects? No, we've already established that they don't provide food/water for you. For using Aethers as color source - maybe? It's mostly a physical thing, fueled by Investiture. Draining color out of roselite would be similar to draining color out of Rosharan gems - it would make it very hard for gems to hold investiture. In case of Aethers it might make it unable to feed on investiture, and therefore the Aether would break after draining (like TwinSoul removing his touch from Aethers he grows). If you use Breaths to create Aethers to drain color to do Awakening, then you're wasting sooooo muuuuuuch Breaths that it's crazy. Take a few handkerchiefs with you instead. Well, that's one useful case. In most cases use water for Aethers and don't waste Breaths on it. That's a very good point. This might be the case. If they were a living thing you could certainly Awaken this, and it would be easy. Cool and great idea! I love it.
  4. Oh yes, me too (A-aluminum + F-electrum - you will be very determined to burn away your determination).
  5. I accept the dagger, but Nightblood is heavy. It might or may not, the Nahel Bond is mainly spiritual, so it might not remove the bond, unless there is some mechanism that would do that. Kelsier lost his Allomancy after his death (but Allomancy is very physical). Plus if they remain bonded, Dalinar's soul being infused with Odium investiture would certainly mess Stormfather, which would force him to break the bond (and turn into Deadeye) or be hurt and turn into a Deadeye or even Unmade (their souls are mixed together kind of). They can have squires. I don't know if they can have them in this competition (I don't like that, I like 1v1, but against Rashek the Skybreaker there aren't many people who could rival him). If Dalinar had squires when he would lose his bond, squires would lose their powers because they are gaining them thanks to Radiant mostly, not spren (I think so). Better Idea, give Rysn Ishar's Honorblade. Rashek will lose. Unchained Bondsmith powers with a Dawnshard? Ashyn proved that's a bad combination. Or wait 700 years for the Well of Ascension (convince Sazed to do it) and used its power to remove Rashek's powers.
  6. Is that the most useless combination so far? One makes you see and feel your past/alternate present, the other makes you fall from heights without any injury. Together you can watch your alternate self forgetting to store his mass when falling, smashing into the ground and experiencing your own death with A-gold. Fun. Don't start this controversial topic again
  7. Until Rashek would get bored, took duralumin spikes and spike Dalinar's connection to Odium and Sotrmfather, killing him permanently. Or just spike out his connection to PR/CR/SR - that kills CS (Jezrien). NO DUAL WIELDING SWORDS!!! I hate this. Nightblood is a way to kill Rashek, but unless you are as fast as he is, you won't kill him with it. Being a Steel compounder would help a lot, Fullborn even more. Plus I think Dalinar dying would remove his bond to SF. But that's the open question. Edit: Rashek's 5th Skybreaker Ideal would be "I am the god" not "I am the law"
  8. Or it's because Scadrial is a low invested world, and the amount of investiture Feruchemist and Allomancers deal with is miniscule compared to Awakeners. Even when Rashek was constantly burning metals and tapping metalminds, he still used less investiture than Awakener with hundreds of Breaths. While being a Fullborn did increase his lifespan, maybe by a few years or a decade, what is it compared to 1000 years that he lived for? Rashak isn't really a good example to look for natural life prolongation effects of investiture. Spook would be better, but we know so little about him post-Catacendre. If he didn't do something weird he lived for more than 118 years just by being a Mistborn. But he could do something weird with himself. Spikes, cadmium bubbles, or feruchemy - we don't know. Secret History 2 we're waiting for you. All investiture prolongs life, every person that is more invested would be healthier and live longer. Huh, I think this is a bad day for me to look at theories, because that's the 3rd one that I blasted today. I'm too skeptical today. Sorry Yes, with this I agree. Static investiture isn't extending your lifespan (at least not in a short use, over long periods of time, being in an infested environment, like Roshar will increase your lifespan). What is working for your life is kinetic, but mostly innate investiture. And both spikes and Breaths are innate investiture.
  9. You're suggesting exponential growth? The more investiture a metalmind has, the more it can fit? Maybe. But I think investiture in a metalminds, rather than pushing into CR/SR, would try to pierce them until it succeed and create a perpendicularity. Not really moving itself from a metalmind into CR/SR - it already is there. So I don't think it would work like that.
  10. Yeah, that might be the case, badly asked question.
  11. It might be. It might be a foreshadowing of Odium being now an integral part of Roshar, which I think was told later in RoW? Or just a reminder to us that this is the case now with Odium.
  12. I think with a nicrosil spike you would be able to rip off the "corrupted" part of your soul, turning you into a Shade, but that would be painful. If you survived this, you would be left far worse than a Drab, as now you're missing a significant portion of your spirit web (even bigger than removal of Preservation's fragment). Plus you will be missing essential parts of your soul, it might be even possible you would be left in a similar state to that of Singers Slaveform or Deadeye spren, depending on what is missing in your soul.
  13. In insects those things are different. Antennas are like ears and eyes - sensory apparatus, not limbs, mandibles in their mouth are jaws. They didn't develop from limbs (legs/arms/wings).
  14. Because Wax using the Bands was able to see the souls of people around him, see not just traces of metal but axi themself and view them as made of the same thing, energy, investiture, matter is the same thing. That's why a powerful steelsight like Rashek has would be able to see axi and souls of people inside CR. Shardblade cuts in all three realms. Yes, it would cut a person in CR, as it already can cat steel lines which exist in SR. It's theoretically possible and that's good enough for me: So they won't be able to hurt him if he's on the ground. And he can fly as well as they can and with additions of his Feruchemy and Allomancy, he has advantage over every Radiants.
  15. Nothing, because Venli wasn't mixing investiture. She was just tuning herself. And likely intent matters like always.
  16. No, Returned would consume his Divine Breath on the 8th day. Fully. How much a single Breath is worth in investiture is another question. It's not about days in water or stuff like that. We don't know how much a single Breath is worth, Breath is a gaseous form of investiture like Mists or Stormlight, I personally think it holds more investiture than a normal Stormlight storing unit. Well, and the WoBs above confirmed that. And because Scadrial is a low investiture world and metalminds hold small amounts of investiture, a single Breath would be able to provide quite a lot of water.
  17. Is that ch 83? She didn't mix lights, she mixed tones of Cultivation and Odium, I quoted that in a post above.
  18. Hey, thanks for sharing. I hope my response won't be too critical. That can't be true. BAM is captured and hidden in a gemstone, confirmed by Kalak, Mraize and Ulim. Plus If BAM was freed deadeye and the Sibling would not be hurt that much, and might even feel it. It was Honor's perpendicularity, but he circumvented the need for Stormfather, that's why SF couldn't feel it being opened. He did it with his Honorblade. Dalinar said it looked like that. Well, this might be just the fact that he was fighting for thousands of years in Desolations and became an excellent fighter, able to predict opponents moves. If he was able to see the future, he would have seen Honorblade getting harmed by Nightblood and would avoid crossing his blade with him. He didn't do that, because he was overconfident in his skills. The same was with Nale, who quickly defeated Szeth in a battle in RoW. Heralds are just excellent fighters, and Stormfather didn't see anything unusual in his moves (and he would be able to tell if Ishar is moving too fast). RoW ch 111 And because Ishar is Bondsmith unchained and is trained in manipulation of connections, he would be able to create a perpendicularity that circumvents Stormfather. That's the case only for Singers, because they kept their light inside their gemstones. Humans however are imperfect vessels, they leak light. If Ishar had Voidlight, it would be visible as it leaks from his skin. Unchained Bondsmith things, He has the Honorblade. Bonding with BAM would chained him with Oaths and I think BAM would be very against what he is doing with spren. That's an interesting look at it. That's possible. However I personally believe that Nohodon used to hold a Dawnshard and gave it up, which made him immortal. He's still alive, somewhere and Dalinar unintentionally (or intentionally Nohodon) created the vision, because of the strong connection they share together. But it all being a Cultivation's doing is certainly very likely. But if that's true, the vision Dalinar saw was fully created by Cultivation, without the need of Stormfather, otherwise he would be able to sense her, like he sensed Odium.
  19. Did you read RoW fully? In WoR Nale said to Szeth that he is one of their gods, that some Shins praise Heralds as their gods instead of spren of rocks, stars and sun. It looks like Heralds are considered as deities by at least some Shins (Stone Shamans maybe?) and those were the one that recognized Ash as a Herald as well. At some point in time Nale went to Shinovar and reclaimed his Honorblade. Shins are keeping Honorblades in safe places. However it is unknown if they kept them to give them back to Heralds when they return - in OB ch 106, Szeth said that years ago Nale's blade went missing, not that Nale came and Shins gave it to him. RoW ch 111 spoilers: In the case of SA 5, we know that Kaladin and Szeth will go into Shinovar to fetch Ishar. Both of them aren't Heralds, but they are Radiants, who as far as we know Shins didn't believe were coming back. And Desolation is back. Those two events are major reasons why Szeth was named Truthless and was exiled. We might expect changes in Shins’ believes because of that.
  20. I based this on Vin's thoughts during her fight with them in WoA, ch 54 translation: In the previous chapter, Sazed faced 12 ft Koloss but he tripped and fell on the ground, that's when Vin returned and killed him with a coin into his head. Because of that, gun bullets hitting Koloss’ head would certainly kill them. Later in this chapter 53 translation: Based on that I think bullets just piercing through Koloss' body without hitting any vital organ (heart, arteries, brain) would not be able to kill them, and Koloss would just keep going and killing. Keep in mind, bullets are smaller than coins and Koloss just disregarded them.
  21. If they're alive and active, they are a separate group from the Sons of Honor. Different methods, different goals, different structures. And apparently Kaladin saw Envisagers in the storm, which I don't remember at all: I don't think it matters if the society is in the Cognitive or Physical Realm. Both Riino and traveling merchants form Lasting Integrity indicate the presence of Ire on Roshar. Plus this WoB outright confirms their activity on Roshar: Ok, I’ve written it too hastily, but Hoid founded Worldsingers and they are not Worldbringers, but they have something in common. Ghostbloods weren't founded on Roshar, yet they operate on Roshar. If Worldsingers weren't founded on Roshar but still have operating members there, they can still count here. Both Hoid and Sizgil are operating there and there are also other members there. However the question remains if they are a secret society. From Coppermind: "In 1170, Shallan Davar thought that there might be a Worldsinger at the Middlefest Fair sponsored by her family. She knew what Worldsingers were like and seemed to find their presence relatively commonplace, implying that the group had been active in Jah Keved for some time.[3]" This suggests that they aren't secret but commonly known on Roshar.
  22. They probably originated from Sons of Honor, but have different goals and methods so they split into 2 separate organizations. On Coppermind presence of the Ire is sourced by RoW ch 87. Not the OB lighthouse Elantrian. Now when I think about it, how about Worldsingers? They were founded by Hoid on Roshar and have several members, like Sizgil. There might be more of them, and aren't widely known. They might be the last group.
  23. No, I don't think that will work. Spiking won't work if you have a spike just sitting in your body. You have to move it through your body fully, to rip off a portion of your soul. You kind of need "friction" to rip your soul apart. And I doubt there are many binding points that can act for both donors and recipients outside of the heart (there are 4 points in there). If there is, you still need to spike yourself, and then place it back in that spot. Yeah, not possible unless he's a master of self-perception. In that case he might as well remove that connection by simply healing himself.
  24. Sleepless for sure. The next one are those that Teft's parents belong to (Envisagers). Coppermind also mentions the Ire. That's 8 organizations named. One more to go. There is a Feruchemist not belonging to Ghostbloods, killed in RoW by Mraize (Gereh). There is also a Kandra on Roshar, not in service of Harmony. They might be part of another group.
  25. It's not Allomancers they're tracking, it's the pulses they made when burning metals. Two coinshooters burning steel would give up the same pulse - but they can sense they're coming from different directions. In case of Mistborn or different kind of Mistings, Inquisitors can sense which metal their target is burning, because each metal gives up a different pulse (which is said in the very next line in the chapter 20 after the quote provided by @Treamayne)
