I'm the one uncle who makes a ton of money, but no one knows what I do. They think its something in finance, but they really aren't sure.

You have a single metallic art power. What is it?
MacThorstenson replied to BitBitio's topic in Inactive RPs
But how would an elsecaller get onto scadrial, find you, and elsecall back into the CR with stormlight. Any stocks of stormlight that they brought would probably have drained. -
The Hemalurgic Table of Metals!
MacThorstenson commented on Chaos's article in Brandon and Book News
You're right. But I just had an epiphany, Kelsier held the shard of preservation for a while, and thus would know what his godmetal did, no? I think that he wouldn't know about the rest of the metals instinctively, but he would know about what his metal did. -
The Hemalurgic Table of Metals!

My guess is that they may have had a little help from harmony in filling out this table. -
People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Check the OP. And ask voidus to put you up there if you aren’t already. -

What would that do? It’s not like we can’t still lead a department from inside a indestructible force field. -
If he’s not metalborn, the metals trick wouldn’t work. I don’t think that finding lerasium is plausible, for a multitude of reasons. Also it would make him a mistborn, which is too OP.

Metal itself of Scadrial is not invested, unless it’s a Metalmind. In order for you to get investiture from a metal, you need to burn it, which then brings in preservations power as a way to fuel its affect. Metalminds are invested, so you could probably survive by consuming nicrosil metalminds. But I don’t know how plausible that is, especially since he couldn’t fill them due to him not being a feruchemist. Alternatively you could use Hemalurgy. If you decide to go down this path I have a few cookies that would interest you... DA disclaimer applies.

We need to wrap up the Era Ending plots soon. I think that the release of Voidus should be coming to its exciting conclusion soon, and that the metamorphosis thread will be wrapping up as well, but the time skip will only happen once those are done, and the reforms are completed.

Quick question about this, why does the impeachment of a senator have to be unanimus, while the impeachment of a chancellor is 2/3 majority?

We actually made sure it had 6 spikes for allomatic aluminum. Just to be sure.
-
We are at at least hundreds rn. Because we want to make sure that they get every possible trait, and we want to increase their power for certain traits. So we double/triple/quadruple up on certain powers.
-
OK, new character. How much do you think his weakness would be worth?
-
On the contrary, abnormally long age and the ability to have a fit body should definitely be factored in. It allows for building of all sorts of connections, learning all sorts of information, and gaining experience. Most people who are within their prime fighting age too young to know how to do much else, and that can be a disadvantage, but kandra can do both. Also there is a big advantage to being able to disguise yourself quickly and without additional resources. You can change crucial aspects in the time it takes to walk around the corner.
-
But kandra also have no definable lifespan, they can be incredibly hard to kill, because they can rework their internal biology, and their ability to disguise themselves means that they don’t need to worry about being caught breaking the law, if they are smart. True they can’t disguise themselves as PC’s, but they can still fool PC’s, and NPC’s.
-
I think that kandra should be higher, because there aren’t many rioters or soothers who can control them period. Almost none of the allomancers in Era 1 were strong enough, but vin was really strong. In addition once Era 2 in mistborn rolled around allomancy as a whole got weaker. Considering that we are past era 2 in mistborn, I don’t think that many rioters or soothers in the RP would be able to take over a kandra. Finally, weaknesses have to be taken into account with context. We don’t have anyone who has tried to take over a kandra in the RP, and it’s generally considered rude while RPing to force people’s characters to do something. It’s highly unlikely that that weakness would ever be called into play. I would say that 60 points would be a low end of what the points from kandra would be.

If you don't have at least 2 people in your guild then you dont get to have a rep.
-
Yeah, those should be switched because Electrum acts as a poor mans counter to Atium.
-
Then they should be more than mistborn? Not less than mistborn.
-
I like the scale, but I have a few questions/suggestions. First, why is there a lerasium misting? There isn’t really any lerasium left, and anyone can burn it. Second, I think that hemalurgy needs to be a general rule, instead of specific values, because you can conceivably spike any trait. Finally, could elantrian be a scale as well? My reasoning is that even though he can’t draw Aons in combat, because of the prep time he has had Mack can have incredibly powerful tools. Another elantrian who never learned anything beyond the base Aons would be weaker.
-
They’re onto me. Now I want to take part in an era where its just an incredibly large army of Mc’s, vs the rest of the RP.
-
Quick question, if I could guarentee that Mac has virtually no power, can I keep him on for Era 3? This would mean no alleymatics, no channeling, nothing except for one minor power.
