  1. Yes, the cookies there are absolutely amazing, and the community is wonderful and supportive*. *Disclaimer Applies
  2. Makc felt a tear roll down his cheek. It was so amazing to see people in love. It was a complete different environment then anything he had seen as a kid. Suddenly without warning music began blaring in Makc's head. Internally he groaned. He looked to the left at Mackc who was helping a poor fellow back into his seat. Looking behind him he saw Maq hard at work smashing rocks with a spike. They had hoped that by getting him out of the lab he would be able to get a life. But every time they tried he made it about 30 minutes before he tried to find his break through again. Makc facepalmed and looked at Mackc. With a subtle shake of the head, he indicated that they should just ignore him. He pointed at Mackc, and mouthed "Music?" Indicating that Mackc should try to block out the sound with some music. Mackc shrugged and started playing the wedding march softly in the back of everyones heads.
  3. About 10-11 months. I joined right around Oathbringer came out, and I joined the shard the previous January.
  4. Catapults. I despise cats. I would rather be near a dropbear than a cat. Not more than 1 percent. I'm going to say no, mainly because I don't necessarily trust a lot of my peers to vote. Most of them don't have the time or desire to learn about candidates or their policy. While Higher turnouts are good, they aren't necessarily good if everyone who turns out is misinformed. If I seem to understand the context, I think that clearly the best option is to barter with your neighbor to try and go for the Largest Army title. Mac is pronounced how its spelled. Me and the rest of my family pronounce Thorstenson as it is spelled, but the icelandic pronunciation is closer to Tor-stain-son Watermelon. Chocolate. I love all things chocolate. The wisdom to make the best decisions, then decide the other two based off of my newfound prowess.
  5. "Eureka!" Maq stands up excitedly, accidentally knocking over the chair of the guy in front of him. He waves his cane around, trying to regain his balance and accidentally knocks Mackc in the face. While Mackc's trying to recover, Maq excitedly paces to the side of the meadow where he picks up a pebble and smashes it with a spike. He stares dejectedly at the smashed rock and the spike, then bends down to repeat the process. "I know that I'm onto something. I just know it!" Makc meanwhile sat on the other side of the row with Makck on his shoulder. They completely ignored the entire exchange because neither of them have ears, and Makc is heavily focused on the wedding ceremony.
  6. Concave. No, its a little too different. Gray 13, its both prime and odd, but 3 is the sides of a triangle, the trinity, too many things. 5 is half of 10, and 7 is the first weird number. 11 has 2 1's. 13 is the second weird number, making it the randomest. 4. Its so common. The first square, and its binary. A question that has an interesting answer A question that shows a lack of thought. Depends on the context and the other clothes. Generally tie. Left, obviously. The fact that we write from right to left, and get our hands covered with graphite. Of course. Dull, monotonous. No. they are definitely interesting questions. 13. Yes. The most random number in my opinion. N/A. Yeah. When people come up and ask me questions I get annoyed due to being distracted, but I do love to answer questions. Black. Much more formal, if you can keep them clean. Always wear a vest for maximum formality. It also looks a bit cooler. I am torn on this one. Bowler hats are usually very nice, but top hats are a tad more formal. Personally I would prefer a bowler hat. It has a slightly casual look that can set people at ease. Or clash with the rest of the outfit. It really depends on the look. As I said above, generally tie. There are more options with cool knots with the tie, but the bow-tie definitely has its place. Tails are more antiquated, and I tend to like them more. Its understandable that people don't wear them anymore though. Trench coat. Longer coats are cooler. Ooh it depends. I would have to say silver for a black themed outfit, but if you go with a blue or brown suit then gold. Depends on what kind of outfit. If the rest is black or grey, then the loafers are black. Otherwise wear brown. This is time period dependent. Even though Monocle's are cooler IMO, sunglasses are the way to go.
  7. Not really, but I do like to answer questions.
  8. Regular or irregular? Regular I have to say the triangle. Irregular I have to say the shape of a fractal. They are wicked cool
  9. I realized that Mac and Me start with the same letter. So here is an AMA, a chance to ask Mac anything.
  10. You have wrought destruction upon us all.
  11. Hellbent is a poster child for OP characters in Era 2. Other than that, he would be pretty low powered compared to the other DA characters.

  13. This is beautiful. Woohooo! Let’s try to get it going as long as possible.
  14. Mac nodded. It made sense, that emotion wasn’t the key, but that willpower was. “Ok.” He refocused on the ball. The embodiment of sloth, of Apathy. For him the symbol of his failure. It was shameful. It was the essence of weakness and failure. He felt the urge to slap it off the table again, but instead of slapping it, he drew it into himself. Into the void. He forced it out of this universe into the void. Then the void did its job, turning it into more void. With his eyes he saw a point of darkness form and head toward the ball. Colliding with it. The ball started to dissolve, slowly the outer layer turned to darkness and dissipated. When all was said and done, the ball barely looked any smaller than before. This isn’t like Voidus’. What am I doing wrong? ”What am I doing wrong? Is this a normal amount of power?” He asked with a look of confusion.
  15. Mac stared at the ball bearing, feeling hatred fill his mind. He reached out to slap it across the room, then stopped himself. Gah, disgusting feeling. It makes you lose control. “Why do we need to hate it? Isn’t hate Odiums intent?” He paused, thinking back to his moments of weakness. They were all caused by unbridled hatred. What he did then was good. But it would have been better if he was in charge instead of emotions. He continued softly, “It makes you lose control.”
  16. Reply: When was it published 3 years ago? I don't think that we have a current government. Either they are wrong, or there is a secret government. Until the congress is elected and they take their first session, there is no government. There are promises of a government, but thats it.
  17. "Questions?" Mac shook his head, "Not immediately." He focused on the ball bearing. He had to hate it. Intent was important in cosmere magics, so he had some experience with this, but it still was difficult. Mac considered himself a logical person, and hate wasn't something that he was used to. It made people lose control. Mac did not lose control. How to hate an inanimate object? That was the question. What did it ever do to him? It just sat there. But what if... What if it figured out how to kill him? No, death didn't scare him anymore. He just felt apathy. He had failed. Through that failure he had gained voidmaking, but he still failed. He hated failure. Wait. Could he use that? The Ball bearing had failed him. He had trusted it to do something, and it failed. But that made no sense? Ball bearings couldn't do things, they couldn't fail. Not like him. He had failed. He hated himself for his failure. With a start, he realized that he could use that loathing. If he latched onto that, but how? What if, the ball was the reason he failed. He failed because of apathy. Apathy in the moment of danger. That ball sat there, what did it know of danger, or drive? It was a ball. It went wherever gravity pulled it. It was the embodiment of apathy. While it hadn't failed him, it embodied the thing that did. His eyebrows moved into a scowl. That feeling of apathy. And he hated it for that, he despised it. How could he remove it? That apathy must be gone. It is within everyone. Every passive thing. He couldn't be affected by it. He couldn't. He needed to. Get. It. Out. "It needs to be gone." He whispered. Looking to Voidus he said "I think I hate it. I certainly need that out of the room." @Voidus
  18. The interns office replied with a new article saying: A YEAR HAS PASSED AND STILL NO GOVERNMENT. EVEN AFTER THE OASIS CORDS WERE SIGNED. WAS THIS JUST A PUBLICITY STUNT BY THE MAJOR GUILDS? OR WILL THEY FOLLOW THROUGH?
  19. 8/10 I enjoy Itiahs description of you, but I have to say I'm not a fan of the colors on the Tent shipping banner. I don't know why, but whenever I see hellbent I forget that he's gone through a redemption/memory loss ark and the pink and purple gives me cognitive dissonance. I am a fan of the ship however.
  20. "Uhhh..." A new intern spoke into the telephone. Leaning over to his manager, he asked "Where's Mack?" "I dont know, went off to newcago or something, just take the call." "Its Trident Manufacturing!" "Don't screw it up." Refocusing on the telephone, the intern thought of what to say. "Errr, two things Mr. Dapper, the first is that Mack is sorry he couldn't answer the phone, he is uhhh..." he looked around for help. The rest of the office sat quietly, hoping that he wouldn't mess this up. "currently in Newcago on court business. Second, I would ask, what government? We have no government. There has been talk of setting one up, but there hasn't been one helping the people. With that said, we would recommend you try to contact Mack in person. I am being told that he is currently dealing with flashbacks? I don't know. We are sorry. Im new here and uh..." He saw his manager giving him the hang up signal. "Uhh I have to go sorry." He slammed the phone down. "How bad was I?" The boss shrugged. "I wasn't paying attention, I just wanted to see what you would do. That ending though, that was priceless." He walked off chuckling to himself.
  21. He grinned and stood up. "Thank you. We will get back to you about our first meeting. Now I am sorry, but I must make a quick departure. I left an experiment concerning the the impact of prolonged exposure of the Dor on invested glitter bombs. Last time they exploded all over the base."
  22. I'll edit my comment if you want, but considering that you have already penetrated the upper levels of the DA with your devious schemes, I'm concerned about letting you have this much power.
  23. WHAT! We can't have this! I'm not even a part of the Reckoners RP, but even I know of the power that is Metronome! I know that bringing in an epic with this much power will surely result in our destruction. He will take over the city and universe in less than a week if we let him. He is even more powerful than Voidus! This Epic is the most powerful being in the multiverse. An epic of his magnitude would completely unbalance the RP. As always, I don't approve the characters, but my vote would be deny him. EDIT: Maybe if he had a better weakness, but no. Even if he were dead and his spiritual aspect destroyed, he could still take over the city, even the world.
  24. "I am unaware of your guild allegiances, so sorry if this is offensive, but the government isn't looking to be that trustworthy. I mean, look at them. The 2 great guilds get guaranteed seats, and one of of the two great guilds is the Ghostbloods! These guys kicked out their own founder a while back! With all due respect, I'm not sure that I trust them to run the city. So yes this will undermine the authority of the government, but when it comes down to it, none of the great guilds have helped the city. If we are at least trying to help the city, I fail to see why they should be in charge in place of us." He took a breath and continued. "As to Mack, why does he care? Now he tends to be a mysterious guy, overly theatrical and the such, but we think he cares for two reasons. One, he has a small measure of concern for the people of the City, somewhere inside of his ornate appearance he cares about people, their well being, and that justice is served. Second, he got bored. And he needed a new project, fixing the city is that project. He hasn't had an interesting commission in years, so he is trying to find a new focus. The choice is yours. You would be equal members on the council with the rest of the member companies. And For what its worth, personally I think that this is a good cause. Mack is sincere in that he wants to help out people. He has set his mind on it, and if he sets his mind on something, it will happen."
  25. Lehir looked confused at the laughing, then realization dawned. The normal rules of funding and resources didn't apply with the Craftsmen. Not many people realized it, but they didn't depend on anyone for money. "You haven't been around recently have you? The Craftsmen are a post scarcity organization! We don't rely on anyone or anything for money or resources. We depend on no one. When we make a proposition, what we say is what we mean. We are going to be funding the project, 100%. It helps that we can create necessary resources out of nothing. Ideally the Traders Union would be a Joint effort. Mack doesn't want to be solely in charge because there is a severe conflict of interest. He is a Member of the Newcago court. There is one thing though. The Traders Union will retain a tight hold on most of the communities that it improves. The Great guilds haven't done anything in 18 years. They are starting to form a government right now, but based off of past experience, most governments formed by great guilds aren't that great. They tend to spend more time playing politics than helping the people. Mack doesn't exactly trust this new government, and urges the other people too keep an eye on them. If the rest of the Union agree's, we will try to maintain a measure of control over the areas that we improve."
