Can malen and femalen go into mate form? Spren are very connected to the emotion a person is feeling and what they think about the world. If a parshendi doesn't feel like they are a gender, it would seem like they would have a hard time bonding mateform spren.

I have studied MMA for seven years now, and I have to say that the punch scene annoyed me a bit. It wasn't a very good punch. Thumb on the outside is nothing special. The trick is to make it go over your first two fingers, and that is pretty easy to get the hang of. I feel like somebody as good as Kaladin would be so accustomed to that he wouldn't mention it. His first two knuckles hitting first is great, but again, not really special if it's a hook punch. You definitely don't want it sliding across the front of his face. That means you missed. The idea is to punch them right around the ear so that it hits them full on in the side of the head. Having your hand slide like that is the mark of a really bad punch. It doesn't mean Kal is a bad fighter to throw a punch like this once in a while, but it certainly isn't great enough to talk about.

The real question here is what sort of insanity does Ishar manifest? His attributes are Pious/Guiding, so maybe his insanity has something to do with restarting the Heiocracy? Also, I think its unlikely that Mr. T is working with Ishar. The Heralds are of Honor, and Mr. T seems very influenced by Cultivation.

We'd need a unit that has an exact amount, every single time. An allomantic bead can be measured fairly accurately by weight, but the results are difficult to measure exactly. In mental metals such as zinc, it is difficult to measure the person's reaction because it is an emotional response. In physical ones such as tin, you have to keep the allomancer's original physical abilities into account before measuring, and that is difficult to do. With Stormlight, since the stormlight leaks out of the gems, it isn't really possible to get a consitant unit. You could measure them right after a highstorm, but we don't yet know if each highstorm has the same amount of investiture. You could measure the amount of investiture in a single grain of sand on Taldain, but the sand gets it's investiture from fungus that grows on it, and maybe some fungus grows more on some grains than others. Since Dor flows into a person over time, there is no way that can be measure. Lightsong complains that he is always fed breath from children because as people get older, their breath gets weaker. So Breaths are not constant. The only constant unit that I can think of is a Divine Breath. They are given out by a shard, and I imagine Endowment is fair about giving everybody equal amounts. They don't seem to disappear, and they are easy to measure. So I'd say the best way to measure Investiture is through units of Divine Breath.

Generally the realization of these traumas leads her to creating a new Truth that moves her farther along through the ranks of Lightweavers. Maybe this will inspire a new one.

This is interesting: could you really bond multiple spren? I feel like that's kind of cheating on the spren. But maybe it could happen.
