Voidbringers were rumoured to be able to hold Stormlight perfectly. Or maybe they can power themselves from Everstorm? Maybe Everstorm carries Voidlight? Something akin to corrupted Stormlight? This actually could have some merit to it. Highstorms carry Stormlight which is flavored by Honor's Investiture - since Stormfather is spren of Almighty and Cognitive Shadow of Tavanast and whatnot.... Everstorm's Investiture is in turn flavored by Odium - it doesn't infuse the gems, so humans and Surgebinders cannot use it - by it infuses all Voidbringers on its path. Possibly Voidbringers can't hold the power infinitely long, but long enough that combined with cyclical Everstorm recharging them it seems as if they're able to hold it all the time. Maybe a 5th level Radiant with Shardplate also can hold Stormlight perfectly?

This is probably due to some sort of interaction between Realms - when a Surgebinder uses high amounts of Stormlight, frost forms on their skin; in extreme cases clothing freezes.

I'm not sure what you mean with this gravity stuff. As for the hang time... hm. Marching very fast while tapping speed? The thing is, if you have weak reflex, you can train it. Like throwing a ball or something similar. After a time you adapt. Now, that's where storing speed kicks in. You can voluntarily lower your speed, so you're slower than you normally are. You can repeat the same training with each iteration storing more speed at the moment. I'm not talking about full storing, rather storing just a little.

See, we know that lesser spren could theoretically bond with people and it also would grant some abilities. Maybe these systems (with Ten Surges) could also allow lesser spren to achieve similar effects, but are not counted towards these 30 magic systems? Let's see: Surgebinding: Radiantspren (10 Surges) + lesser spren doing something Voidbinding: Voidspren (10 Surges - forms of power) + lesser spren allowing various non-power forms (warform, workform, artform (it requries creationspren!)) Fabrials: ???spren for replicating 10 Surges + lesser spren for the rest of the fabrials

There are three systems and each in a way gives an access to one of 10 Surges. So in a way there are 30 magical systems. So, one system is Surgebinding and it's a Honor/Cultivation system (mainly Honor, I'd say). Cultivation plays supportive role. It's about establishing a bond with a spren (which are a mix of Honor and Cultivation Investiture) and deepening that bond by swearing Oaths. Seems pretty Honor to me. Another system is Voidbinding and it's clearly of Odium. Or Odium's hack into an existing system of Listener's forms. Or Odium mixing with another Shard (probably Cultivation). Or just Odium's. Listeners merge with voidspren (which are Odium's Investiture) to gain a Voidform (is it a word?). Voidbringing form. Voidbringer form. Whatever. Then there is a third system: We know there are (or could be) fabrials replicating every Radiant Surge. That would account for these another 10 surges, but the thing is, there are lots of other fabrials. Maybe it's similar to Hemalurgy? Similar that it's a lot more than local Surges. Hemalurgy can be used to steal everything. Only half of the spikes deal with stealing Feruchemical and Allomantic abilities. So...Radiant replication fabrials are just a subset of this system. Or maybe fabrials themselves are only part of the system? So it could be used to do many things and one of them is trapping spren to do things? Discuss. P.S. How does Nightwatcher fit in all of that? The end of AoL, Vanishers were shooting only aluminum. There is this moment when Wayne gets hit by a bullet (slightly) and sees a bullet about to enter the bubble. He jumps to the side, bullet behaves as normal bullet (richochet, flies through the bubble, richochet, hits normal time) Already answered, there would be... complications. Yes. Sanderanswer: Lerasium is one. RAFO. There are no Breaths to be gifted, Stormlight is consumed. Change the question to be if an Awakener could convert Stormlight to Breath, since Vasher can feed on Stormlight. Sanderanswer: Investiture interferences with other Investiture. Do we have it confirmed they were "reforged"? As in "using high temperature to melt and then let them solidify in a different shape"? I'm pretty sure it destroys the charge. I thought that Harmony just used a mechanical process like carefully breaking them into smaller pieces. It's not outside of Shardic abilities to accomplish something like this.

Wait, why would be gravity increased? Where did you get that from? Hm, maybe you could write a program to automatically turn pages... With good processing speed computer is gonna win anyway. But storing physical speed does not impair your mental speed. Eye movement is fast enough to not be largely affected by storing speed. Well, reflexes would be improved since you'd be living in sped-up world. You can train your reflexes (voluntary reflexes, I mean). Yeah, that's right we have no idea how Feruchemy interacts with exercising. Time to add it to the List.

Of course gravity affects you normally. But with enough speed you can fight it. A trained freerunner can do what, up to three steps wallrunning? It's all about speed here. That's actually true: if you had Flash speed, you could easily run on walls. Well, friction could be troublesome (that's why Flash has fireproof suit or something along these lines). It would be a limiting factor. You probably couldn't climb a skyscraper by wallrunning, but I bet you could easily run on ceiling. You're right about computers. Even if you were faster than computer, the bottleneck is the processing speed. So let's leave it to computers. As for the book, you could read ebook. You just need to push a button. The beauty here is that these buttons don't care how fast you're pressing them, but how many times you push it. Reading a book will always result in the same number of pressing the button. There're a lot of times you can store physical speed. Commuting. Learning - seriously, you just need to read, storing speed won't affect you much. Eating. Washing yourself. Waiting for the bus. I'm sure you could find a lot of times during the day when you could store different attributes easily. Just keep Feruchemy in mind during your normal day and you would find multiple occassions for storing. Also, you could store a little all time, get used to it to improve your reflexes and actual speed. Feruchemy would be useful for exercising, really. Learning how to live while being a little slower and weaker and dumber and etc. would give you a boost when you stop storing. It's like walking with weights attached to your limbs.

You can tap at half the normal rate and do things like 1.5 times faster? 1.25 times faster? It doesn't seem much, but it adds up. You can post on Shard very fast. You can become the worlds greatest gamer in shooters or something (who doesn't want super reflexes?). You will always be fast enough to catch things you dropped. You can set Youtube to always 2.0 speed and be fine with it (you can now watch twice as many videos in the same time!). Read books a lot fa... ... This would probably require excessive storing, but you could probably buy new Cosmere book at the signing or something, read it, and ask Brandon questions. He's like "Oh, today is the release of Oathbringer and I'm signing things" and you go and ask a million questions from it. You can crack codes and passwords in real time. Probably. Steelrunning is one of the most versatily Feruchemic abilities, there are tons of uses for it.

But there is a trick to pull this off. See, bubbles are not additive, but multiplicative. So somebody standing in shared area of two cadmium bubbles will experience not 16 (2 * 8) times slower time, but 64 (8*8) times slower. There was a thread or two where we figured out how to gain a lot of money using multiple overlapping cadmium bubbles.

We're overthinking this. The way I see it is that the total amount of power you can get from a bead of metal directly depends on the mass of the bead. Thus, since mass is the main factor, density can be also viewed as the factor, since density = mass/ volume. So if you have 1 kg of tin, it will burn for a year (for example, random numbers here), no matter the volume. If you have two beads of metal of equal volume and different mass, the denser one will burn longer (as it has more mass). If you have two beads of metal of equal mass and different volume, both will burn equally long.

This indicates that if you have your crack in spiritweb filled with spren, Nahel bond with spren, or connection to Preservation, you're quite safe from outside influence. Note that Hemalurgic creations have Hemalurgic spikes in them, connecting them to Ruin.

Allomancers are broken in similar way Surgebinders are. Yet Allomancers are not suspectible to Shardic influence unless spiked. For Odium to control Listeners he needed to create voidspren; yet Rlain didn't go stormform, I wonder why.

You have to provide more info. Right now we know that you don't know how to react in this situation. But we don't know how you feel about it. Are you trying to find a way to befriend her? Pick her up? Let her know you're uninterested in a gentle way? Do you know her? Do you know who she is? Did you just meet her? Is she interested in you? (I know it's hard to tell, but sometimes there are clues) Trying to befriend you? How is she behaving? Tell us something!
