Yeah, I have a theory (and one of this days i will have to post it) that Adonalsium left on Roshar a large amount of Investiture (the Stormlight)... this investiture made the Realms overlaps more than in the rest of the Cosmere... And this is the reason of Spren generation (the Minds are more likely to influence Investiture) and the Spren visibility in the Physical realm (something unique to Roshar). Of course this is separated by the magic Systems rules and how they manifest on Roshar (I think Roshar's focus is "bonds" but i can't be sure) and maybe the "Spren generation" was left to alloy better magic on Roshar

Maybe but to me the "Spren generation" on Roshar seems a little beyond the standard ways that magic systems form.

Probably because they can't produce it and the guard itself can't be melted or changed.

In the end if the guards are made of Alluminium, Zahel have to recognize the metal.... But of course He may refuse to spread this information. But it seems to me unlikely that the guards are Alluminium made for 2 reason, one worthless and one worthy: - This doesn't fit my Alluminium's oddity theory (this is the worthless one ) - If they may create Alluminium and Alluminium stops Shardblades, you may see all the nations began to mass produce Allumin to stop the overpowered Shardbearer (well at least to remove their fearsome weapon)..... Of course this is the Worthy one PS: but if I don't remember wrong the guard adjusts itself to perfectly cover everykind of Blade. Probably it's made of whatever made the Oathgate's lock.

Probably it wasn't a willing act...simply on Roshar with the bound between the realms less rigid the Minds forges Splinter more easy than on any other Shardworlds This was true for the original Spren made by pre-shattering Investiture and the "new Spren" made by Shards' Investiture.

You don't need to be faster than Light, but faster than Tony (or armor)'s reaction time.... And in this I think that a Bendalloy boubble is really usefull (without all the other "buffs" a Mistborn has)

Yeah Silver is just useless with the Metallic Arts...like it would be Platinum or other metal outside the 16

Actually I don't think Syl or other Radiant Sprean are "converterted" by Adonalsium's Spren. They may be: - "child" of Tanavast Cognitive Shadow in the Stormfather (in a way of be "child of honor") - Or "child" of the power itself, In a way of every was part of Adonalsium and in some way "child of Adonalsium" and the Radiant Spren are piece of Shards... of course with this interpretation all the Splinters in the Cosmere are Stormfather's Children (also a VoidSpren). In the end I am more for the first one... after all Wylde itself, talk of the Nightwatcher like "mother".

oh sorry I remembered wrong the WoB. Well the Divine Breath is sentient from its own... maybe using it in Awakening simply you use its mental ability... like to say, you don't need a complex mental Intent and the Awakened item will simply try to performe his task at its best.

The Deepness was too far in the past, the arrival in the Forest of Hell instead is pretty recent story (Silence's grandma was with the first ones)

If i remember righ... in the Warbreaker's Final Fight (Phantom VS Regular Lifeless) just a couple of phantoms were lost... and the other side was completely destroyed

I can't be sure... I repeated just the explaination Brandon gived to us. I may think the Spiritual pushes on the Cognitive only after a threesold of "oddity" is reach... In the end it's exactly how the Forgery works. More something is unnatural more the Soul pushes aganist... and more Investiture is needed to resist

@tennischamp5: Simply in the Cosmere the Healing works as "restoring my Cognitive Aspect" and the Cognitive Aspect is influenced in part by how you see yourself and in part by your Spiritual Aspect(A perfect version of yourself made by all the connections of your life). This is what I meant before as "your Soul knows how you are old"... You may do some little change... but your "blueprint" will be of the right age. It's quite useless to put it as biological process, where there is just "rewrite the part different by your Cognitive Aspect"

Yeah I talked about that... I formalized it some time ago... and until now I don't have any counterproof... Of course this doesn't mean it's true but at least I may be in the right direction

we don't know if you can even Awake with the Divine Breath... but in the end I imagine the object will be controlled by the Divine Breath. It may be a cool last will for a Returned (that would die giving away his Divine Breath)

He probably compound gold... but He didn't use it to live longer... He had no use for that... his body thanks to his Atiumind was in his best years.... Of course he may tap some amount of Healing always... but it's like Miles did, no effect on his lifespan. When his Atiumminds were pushed far from him... all his healing was nothing to him.

A Mistborn is an Hellish target for everyone at long range.. The combination of Pewter, Steel/Iron and Bendalloy... give them quite all the evasion they need. They may also create Cadmius bubble as fast deflection field if they don't want to expend the valuable Bendalloy in extreme cases

Yeah but just a though... before H&C came to Roshar... on Roshar there are only pre-shattering spren and quite all of them were mindless spren like windspren. I think there are some unique Spren among then, for example the Rider of the Storm and this unique spren "betrayed" the Listeners. There are probably no large scale Forms of Power at that time... maybe a couple of Listeners was in symbiosis with this Great Spren and some of their functions was important for Listener's society... and this is why they feel that Spren's change as a betrayal The large number of sentient Spren arrives with the Shards of Adonalsium

So How Much More Cosmere-Aware will We Become?
Yata replied to VirtuousTraveller's topic in White Sand
Actually He often uses mondane trck to disguise himself. I think we never saw him using magic to change himself, at least with the normal people... I am pretty sure he uses some trick to stay hidden from "extra senses" of Shard and other above the average being. -
No Dracnor everyone with enough Breath became Immortal, not just a Returned... A Returned is immortal just because it reach the fifth Heightening with his Divine Breath. But the Immortality comes to everyone with the Fifth Heightening. And in the end how you see yourself... it's a Cognitive matter not Spiritual
