It's quite madness but a Compounder may Behead himself to avoid the Alluminium effect (Queen of Heart approved) and use Heal to grow a Brand new Head (Queen of Heart don't approved)
-
Yeah this is a possibility, I am still with "plant" as Taldain's Focus but it may be both "light" and "water" as far as we know (of course as "sand")

About this one, a Perpendicularity isn't there to be useful to someone, the World hoppers simply take advantage of its presence. Nothing prevent a Perpendicularity to be located where a World Hopper can't reach it (and maybe Autonomy may want exactly that). The World Hoppers may use other method to get from and to Taldain. PS: This post doesn't want to say that "The Perpendicularity is in the Sun" but just "may be on the Sun". I don't think that Autonomy has something of his Power on the Sun, but it's just an idea of mine and I haven't no proofs

Probably Hoid inspired both Horneater and Purelake Mithology in his travel from and to Roshar
-
If he has enough Healing it may Heal... F-Gold heals Soul (it may heal also a Hemalurgy damage) and in the end a Shardblade wound is a Soul wound
-
And the opposite ? A bullet made of heavy metal ( ) with an exposed core of Alluminium ? May works probably PS: It's just to made things harder for Bloodmaker not to give a "sure kill"
-
Well you may create a bullet with heavy core made by whatever is appropriate and a layer of allumin on the outside.

The Sardpools are where the Shard's Investiture naturally condensates (if I remember right BS used the water-cycle as methapor). Therefore it's possible that some geographyc parameters are more likely to be found where a Shardpool's spawn

My best friend is reading Warbreaker for the first time....
Yata replied to natalie.perkins's topic in Warbreaker
Probably it's exactly that and more in a Magic System where Breath improves Senses and perceptions.... I find fashinating to discover how the God-King sees the world.... In the End a tons of Investiture made you began to "see the Matrix" (and the Mind expansion help a lot with that) -
it's what I meant. The Savantism is a long term change as answer to a Soul-Eroding effect made by Investiture's Stream, you became probably also Investiture addicted but in the end your Spirit Web are twisted....always. The Soul's expansion instead is a short term change with no conseguence (the Investiture are probably just "parked" in yourself) for the user when he loses that Investiture (in standard case, if you push the expanding Soul to its extreme, you obtain a Sliver). I think that only external Magic Systems may allow Savantism but probably not all of them

I don't know... They need a sacrifice also in the center of their country to gift abilities or teleport. And probably (but I may be wrong) if you go to Elantris Cognitive realm (well if you survive the Dor and any other danger) you are still not connected with that Elantris' Dor. The Dor in that place would be probably useless to you.

Many compounders store Attributes directly in metal inside of them. It's how the fast compound loop work with a minimal original charge. It's a more efficient way instead of melting earring or rings everytime. You store some attribute in a piece of metal in your stomach, then you burn it. You store in another piece of metal in your stomach the new generated charge and keep this routine.

But Dor used in AonDor is like a dynamic effect...it's a stream of Investiture exactly like Preservation's Power in Allomancy. Therefore I may easy think of some "Savant like" effect during an Elantrian long life (or maybe an Elantrian is already a Savant of Dor). Breath are very less invasive. Probably you need to hold a ton of Breath to twist yourself (and in a Sliver like way).
-
Maybe the Sacrifices manage to create a permanent and stable link to the Dor. Once stable this link may fuel Monk's ability without risks for them. Of course during the unstable phase the one who drawn the Dor or just after is vaporizated by the power (probably beacuse an average people isn't attuned to the Dor, or it would insted Ascend and became a Shard).

Yeah and probably (I am quite sure but without a WoB I keep my hope low) you may use Hemalurgy to steal the Awakening ability. We have a WoB about only Nalthis people may use Breath to Awake things, the others may have Breath, gains the passive ability and give them away, but they can't Awake things with them... Probably Hemalurgy may provide the right "missing part" (quite interesting you may steal this ability from everyone on Nalthis)

How to turn anyone into an Elantrian in 7 simple steps
Yata replied to AliasSheep's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well Connection is how he usually manage to get a Magic System but on Sel this didn't work to give him Elantrian status. -
Well probably Miles was a Gold Savant, He had to have a great control over his Allomancy, I find unlikely he can't simply "burn low" to avoid issues with his A-Gold. Therefore probably I missed something, or the whole problem was about the vision's subject and not his intensity (like a introspective-emotional feedback).

How to turn anyone into an Elantrian in 7 simple steps
Yata replied to AliasSheep's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That post is of the 2013, probably it's better to continue here. Anyway Connection alone would not be enough. We have a reference to someone who manage to do something like that and he failed -
Probably or maybe He didn't want to use Metal virtual "unknown" to the popolation (Durallumin). But in the end I think he wanted to develop his ability to Burn Ruin's body...and he simply used compound Atium

Sorry for birthplace I meant both Space and time of your Birth... Maybe I have to write it more clearly.

The point was not about Alluminium or any other material. If an hit to the Brain will turn off your ability to tap from a Metalmind (goldmind in this case). Rashek or Miles would die for any kind of headshot because the F-Gold would be stopped by the hit (Alluminium or not). Your point wasn't about Alluminium Interference (we know that it took more to heal with some Alluminium in the wound) but the "an object in your brain would stop you from thinking and therefore you can't tap a Metalmind (or keep tapping)". If this is true, many things Wayne, TLR, Miles (dinamite at range zero) or many Inquisitors (I rememeber an Iquisitor with an opened head) did are pure madness. PS: TLR knowed quite all about the Metallic Arts thanks to his time as Ascended being... He would know about the effect of Alluminium on himself
-
Well she didn't die just using Stormlight's healing ability. After two books we know what a Radiant may do with some Stormlight

Just a couple things I've noticed when re-reading WoR
Yata replied to TySun's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well for the Timeline it's possible that Hoid has some "Metallic Arts Technology" instead of be a Lerasium Mistborn -
Well Medallions work quite in the same way of Hemalurgy (but not permanently)... They add the Stored SpiritWeb to your own, gifting ability... Therefore if it's possible to gift powers to Kandra with Hemalurgy (and we know it for sure) they may also uses Medallions.

Incomplete Shaod and How Elantrians Are Initiated
Yata replied to Blightsong's topic in Cosmere Discussion
... Anyway I write that because the "Bond" as far as we know are between beings. The Land itself is a strange "partner"... But as someone said in the previous page, if the Dor in the Cognitive was just "Investiture" at the beginning. The collective mind of a country may turn him in many Splinters in the different areas.... We know that a Cognitive Input may change some Investiture to Splinter and Sel has everything needed: In the end we may have an Mai-Pon Spren, an Aonic Spren,ecc.... that from the Cognitive bond with compatible Human Beings. Sometime ago, I created a Theory about "Unity" the new Sel's Shard.... maybe I have to re-work on that with this new informations
