The use of "data" and "troubleshooting" stood out to me and not in a good way.

Overall, I really like the book. I loved how they did the 5th ideal right after I thought it wasn't going to happen. Adolin is the best, and I loved his arc. I thought having Moash show up again made him more of a joke, but establishing El as a back five antagonist will be great. I'll probably have more thoughts, but also don't have to riot because BS didn't do something to Kaladin.

I had this same thought today about Honors power sitting for too long. I took it a step further that perhaps Dalinar defeats Odium, but Honors power is gaining sentience, so Dalinar thinks a guided War (since Odium is also now without vessel) is better than the alternative.

So, can't search for a damn, but had this thought the other day. Could the heralds not just be insane because of thousands of years, but since they are effectively spren, might they have also been wounded by BAMs capture in some way? We all know that two of the back five main characters are two heralds, and Ik not really looking forward to books of insane people, maybe we release bam and the heralds also get "fixed".

My thought is that this is how we get back his ship, he would be able to manifest a shape he knows, just like the delvers manifest as big versions of the drone orb.

This was the thought that came to mind for me, or something similar. Perhaps the Heralds all bonded temporarily, or jointly, the Dawnshard that imprisoned Odium and that's how they became the way they are. Adds some additional intrigue to killing Jezrien if he was supposed to be immortal... did they remove his Dawnshard power remnant? Could they also do it to Hoid if that's the case?

I haven't seen this discussed before, but if Shardblades are based off of Honorblades, what is Shardplate based off of? We've never seen a hint that the Heralds had Plate (or equivalent), so is Plate something that the Spren got together and came up with?

So, this is probably in a thread somewhere, but I'm bad at searching these forums. I believe that it might have been mentioned somewhere, maybe the Letter, or perhaps in a WoB, that Odium never invested himself in a planet because he wants to retain his power. How then, was the God to the humans that arrived on Roshar. If our theories hold true, and Voidbinding was in fact what destroyed the Tranquiline Halls, and Odium came with the fleeing humans, that suggests that he invested enough of his power to create a very potent form of magic. So, am I missing something here?

Wasn't there a comment made by Szeth in the prologue to WoK about Voidbringers holding stormlight perfectly? Found it... The truth to this could speak to the Voidbringers perfectly holding Voidlight, and coupling that with gemhearts, it makes sense. That would also explain why the unmade people had to swallow a gem, to allow the voidlight / essence to be stored.

I think what will happen is that Adolin will receive Maya, but will only be able to instantly summon/ talk to her, but.notndorm the bond. I think they become justngood friends... with benefits. And.by benefits I mean an overpowered sword and enhanced cognition.

My take when initially responding was she was just hunting Nightblood, but when I found the quote below, confirmed that it's both. I think she is hunting then both in an attempt to fix/destroy NB since she apparently had a less flawed awakened sword.

Maybe the dawnshards are the heralds empowered by Odium, they are immortal and have other undefined powers. They have apparently been around since the shattering, so maybe they knew Rayse and then other shard holders.

So, how does gavilar make a perfect sphere out of a crystal?
