Relevent WOB: Obviously the WOB refers to Hoid, but the concept is still applicable for Demoux.

Too add to this; Shalash and Nalan give precedent that they are acting according to corrupted forms of their ideals; Nalan Herald of Justice is going around serving life severing Shardblade "Justice" to proto-radiants for minor crimes. Shalash Herald of Beauty is going around destroying artistic renditions of herself. I think it should be noted that the act of destroying art could be looked at as a form of abstract art and could certainly be viewed as a corruption of Beauty.

Random Stuff VIII: The Admin Special
The Sovereign replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
I could not agree more. I saw FLCL for the first time when I was 10 or 11. 15 years later, Haruko is still in my top 5 favorite characters of all time. The episode "Firestarter" may well be my favorite episode of an anime ever (well, either that or the Hellsing episode "Master of Monster"). Regarding the reboot, I am excited but skeptical. There is great potential here, but often when you mess with what is more or less perfection you end up disappointed...- 1963 replies

Welcome to the forums, this has been speculated before and I believe you have the right of it. When asked, Brandon has always RAFO'd this question (and really any questions about Aslydin), but as you said, logically it makes a lot of sense.

D&D alignments as best typified by cosmere characters
The Sovereign replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Cosmere Discussion
While agree with your assessment of Windwinners vs. Skybreakers as a good example of Chaotic good vs. Lawful good, I'm not sure I agree with your judgement of one being better than the other. They are just different. Either has merit depending on the circumstances; To inverse your example, the situation could just as easily be one where the laws are just but what the Windrunner views as right is unjust. In that case, wouldn't you be inclined to judge the Skybreakers as better? -
The scary part is when you start to just remember them; what signing/event/personalized book/etc they came from, and when they occurred. I'd say I'm around 60% on the WoBs on Theoryland... My memory is weird...

Well done sir. Now to pick nits... I'd argue that any Vessel needs to be Lawfully aligned as they are all bound by the laws of their intent.

Denied. I think you could argue Stick is Lawful Neutral. Stick lives true to the law of being a stick. -
Speculation About Frost’s Role in the Shattering
The Sovereign replied to Confused's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Master_Moridin is correct. Master_Elodin, you seem to be misunderstanding Brandon's answer. The question was if Yolen is unreachable (or lost a Kriss said) from the cognitive realm because there isn't any (or isn't enough) cognitive thought for it to appear there. Brandon said that is not correct. For reference, here is the WOB, it is from the Calamity Tour: Chicago:- 33 replies

Speculation About Frost’s Role in the Shattering
The Sovereign replied to Confused's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I have never seen one regarding him growing a new head, as far as I know we have only seen examples like that with Bloodmaking and Stormlight usage. But, this is the WOB on him being really, really, really hard to kill: (Emphasis mine)- 33 replies

Here are a couple: Nalan: Lawful Neutral Taravangian: Lawful Evil Harmony: Lawful Neutral (see the quote in my signature...) -
While I like this idea, I'm pretty sure Brandon has confirmed that the form of Feruchemy Hoid uses originates from Yolen rather than Scadrial. Like his lightweaving (when compared to Roshar's) it is probably functionally very similar but slightly different than the Scadrian Feruchemy.

Well, he is a Splinter of Odium, I suspect his power would depend on how large of a splinter of Odium's power he is. -

Wouldn't it really be: Random Stuff III.V : Rogue Admin as the event take place before Episode IV? -
There is certainly merit in that, it is a game after all and if you're not having fun, then why play? Personally I have fun doing broken things. In 1v1 EDH I am currently playing storm. I'm quite partial to the idea of if you don't want to die on turn 2-4 then stop me.

If you ask a question at a signing or in a signed/personalized book that gets RAFO'd you will also get one of these business cards:
