  1. Interestingly, my brief assessment was also going by the D&D alignment chart. I would argue Goku is Chaotic Good. While I agree that he has some tendencies of Lawfulness through personal code I would be much quicker to assign Gohan or Piccolo to that role. Goku has too much disregard for things like collateral damage for me to ever really consider him lawful. I'd argue that the Senzu bean thing is more of a want to be able to say that he beat someone at their best than a desire for it to be a fair fight.
  2. This one is pretty good too: But seriously, Lawful Good!? Have they ever seen Goku?
  3. Nymeria and Ghost are going strong.
  4. A couple of great GoT memes:
  5. This is not quite correct, the Vessel's physical body still exists but is in a sort of cold storage in the Cognitive realm. When the Vessel dies the body is released back into the Physical realm (I.E. Leras' body falling out of the mists after Elend's interaction with the Mist Spirit and Vin and Ati's bodies appearing after their clash). As for a Physical aspect of the Shard's power itself, Atium and Lerasium are both physical manifestations of the Power of Ruin and Preservation respectively. There was a physical manifestation of the shards power that appears in what I had interpreted as swirling beams of light. This is what Sazed puts his hands into to take in Ruin and Preservation.
  6. The Googly-eyed Voice of a Generation:
  7. I find it even funnier since bologna is misspelled...
  8. Regarding one of the death's: And the other:
  9. Enjoy : Kinda a spoiler if you haven't seen last night's episode:
  10. Thanks Glubbdrubb, that is actually not the WoB I was thinking of but it was one that I wasn't familiar (which honestly, is a bit of an oddity). The one I am referring to was either from the Bands of Mourning or Calamity tours. I'll find it eventually. The gist of the WoB was literally that the color in addition to the cut effect the amount of Stormlight that can be held in a gemstone.
  11. I suspect that Kaladin's Wine-skin comparison applies to the Gemstones too, if you have a larger Gemstone not all the way filled I bet it would leak Stormlight at a slower rate than if it were full.
  12. A couple of other relevant WoBs in addition to the who Glubbdrubb posted: In addition, I am 100% sure there is a WoB that states that the color of the gemstone matters too but I cannot find it.
  13. I heard someone call muggles "Filches" or "A Filch" once. Somewhat catchy.
  14. The man who made it, sold it. The man who bought it, never used it. The man who used it, never saw it. What was it?
  15. I've watched it from the beginning (and read the books). I've kind of quietly resigned to the idea that Words of Winter might not be out for another 2-3 years so I am kind of "all in" on this season of the show.
  16. This is a good assessment. I guess my real issue is that he reminds me of the Ooze guy from the Power Rangers movie in the 90's... Edit: This is perfect, I was looking for a picture of the Ooze guy and I find this:
  17. Honestly, not particularly surprising. I was skeptical as soon as the revealed what Apocalypse would look like... I mean really, how do you get this: From this:
  18. I'm not surprised at all. But, a man can dream. And it is perfectly possible for a card that is relevant to Legacy to be printed that just isn't good in Standard. Past In Flames, Young Pyromancer, and Omniscience both come to mind as cards that meet these criteria in the not to distant past. Miracle as a mechanic is another that was certainly viable in Standard but not over the top broken that basically reshaped Legacy by making what is plain and simply the best control deck and when competently piloted perhaps just the best deck in Legacy. As for Nahiri, she isn't objectively bad, but in Legacy Miracles she would be fighting for the same slot as Jace The Mind Sculptor so obviously she loses...
  19. I'm just hoping they print some Legacy playable cards, SOI was horrible. The only good card in the whole set for Legacy was Invasive Surgery.
  20. I was the stage manger for "Our Town" during my senior year of high school. I hated that play. Simon Stimson is the drunk guy, right?
  21. Je ne vous crois pas... Quels jeux peut-on jouer avec une âme?
  22. Just in general; You know, in case Morzathoth needs it later... Only loosely related, but any excuse to use a John Goodman in Big Lebowski meme...
  23. I suspect that tapping the power would compensate for any entropy. We saw in Well of Ascension that Sazed's organs compensated for its unnatural bulk while tapping Strength. I don't think it is too far of a stretch to think a Gasper's lungs would compensate similarly while compounding.
